Best thing about this hotel is it’s proximity to the airport. The airport shuttle was right on time, at a cost of 15 Euro. 4 AM was the earliest. We originally were assigned a room in the second floor with no elevator, which would have been difficult. Thanks to the front desk manager we were able to switch to a ground floor room. There is a lovely swimming pool (outdoor) on the premises.

Quite surprisingly nice Hotel which i would imagine was only used as a stop over for the Airport just up the road. Room was lovely , clean and quiet. Great swimming pool , good staff and were very obliging in transporting you to a lovely restaurant a km from the hotel, and running you back again - all free of charge.

Stayed here 11 years ago and just recently. Night manager remembered us!! Came to stay just one night before a very early flight out of MarcoPolo airport. Lovely ground floor room with patio. Comfortable bed. Transport to airport (24 hrs) $15/1person or 2. Nice bar.

The property was close to airport which is why we chose to stay here. The room on the surface was clean but there were a few insects and flies that piped up in our room on 2nd night of our stay. We had to make sure our luggage is always zipped so the insects don’t get in our luggage. The breakfast options were extremely limited especially for vegetarians.

Nothing special about this property except a nice pool. Beds were comfortable and room, though dated, was clean. Shower was frightening experience since water temperature would shift from scalding to cool without changing the position of the knob. Be careful not to get scalded.

The room was very clean, but in the room we got, the shower water was uncontrollable, either it was too hot to the point of scalding us or the water was very very cold. Very good service, but like most people who work in Italy, they don't have many smiles. Shuttle to a very good restaurant. There is a pool but we didn't have time to go there. La chambre était très propre, mais dans la chambre que nous avons eu, l’eau de la douche n’était pas contrôlable, soit qu’elle était très chaude au point de nous brûler ou l’eau était très très froide. Très bon service, mais comme la plupart des gens qui travaille en Italie, n’ont pas beaucoup de sourires. Navette pour aller un très bon restaurant. The Hotel Venice Resort Airport was convenient for its proximity to Marco Polo Airport, which we needed to get to fairly early in the morning. The shuttle service was 15 euro for two people and was on time and efficient. The hotel room was in a different building on the 2nd floor. There are no elevators, so we (like other guests) made quite a bit of noise getting to and from with our suitcases. The room was spacious, but I found the bathroom to be small and the shower tile, moldy. The service was excellent: both the evening and morning shift workers were professional and courteous.

Hotel was average. Showers very small, no ac that you could turn on, breakfast wasn’t very good, not many option for dinner (they’ll shuttle you to a restaurant but it wasn’t very good), nothing around the area. No elevator so that was a challenge. The room was clean but was very basic for how much it costs. We didn’t use the pool or anything because we were just stopping over before an early morning flight. The beds in the suite are upstairs which meant lugging suitcases up and down the stairs. Using the sofa bed meant there was no sitting room for everyone and we had to navigate around it because it was in the main space.

Over all a good hotel with only one major problem, rooms (or at least the one i was given ) have very poor sound proofing. The guest beside my room was talking late in to the night on the phone with a normal tone of voice and I could hear every word, I finally had to improvise a pair of hear plugs and put my head under the pillow in order to sleep. Suggestion to possible customers : make sure you carry with you a set of ear plugs This apply not only for this facility but as a general rule

Staff was not friendly at all. When we asked about hotel shuttle to pick us up after we return car he sad we should just walk 1.6km in 30+ degrees. I booked shuttle for next day, he booked wrong time. Shuttle didn’t drop us in front on the airport, somewhere on the side parking lot. They don’t want to drive in to pay a fee. When I asked if he can recommend some pizza place around hotel, he just said NO. What kind of customer service is it😳 we spent less than 15 hours in hotel and everything went wrong. I would not recommend this hotel.

The place looked dilapidated, not at all what I expected of a 4-star hotel. We were informed at reception that they had overbooked our room and had made arrangements to book us at the nearby Best Western Hotel instead. This was quite a surprise, but we agreed, given the look of the hotel. The Best Western was definitely not a 4-star hotel, but I don't think the Hotel Venice Resort Airport is a 4-star either, so maybe it worked out.

We arrived at rhe hotel at 10.30pm off our flight to be told they practice overbooking, as such we werev one of 3 bookings without a room. We had to wait on a taxi to take us to a hotel nearby which we had not chosen. I will be writing a formal complaint with expedia about our treatment on our return from Italy. Note we were told by the other hotel that the manager of the venice resort does this all the time and expedia need to be aware of this.

Check in person was more interested in getting paid for everything than offering a warm welcome. Check-out person abrupt when asked a question. Both older guys should retire and don’t work anymore. Especially in a hotel. Morning older guy grumpy.

We booked this approximately 5 months in advance. While walking to the stay after a long flight we decided to have the shuttle pick us up that the hotel had advertised to us two days prior. Only at that time were informed that we were no longer going to be able to stay with them due to overbooking. Although I had booked long in advance with confirmations received even the day before. They informed us that they booked us a room at the Best Western near by. The room booked in our stead was a small basic room. This was also annoying as we had booked a superior room with them and the room was obviously of lesser value. Save the frustration and confusion book with an other stay.

The property and guest rooms were very good. Rooms were very clean. There is no elevator! Claudio was working the front desk when I checked in. He watched me drag my two heavy suitcases up the the stairs while sitting in a chair. He told me they would stire them in the downstairs luggage area if I didn't want to carry them up. All the other employees were polite and very helpful.

We stayed at this “resort” for one night before heading home. The place is extremely run down from the outside, so much so that I was a little nervous about staying. It gives off a Bates Motel vibe. The room itself was clean enough, although extremely small. There is no closet, no phone and we weren’t even given a blanket. My husband went to reception for a blanket and was told it’s in the closet (which the room doesn’t have!!) The shower was spacious and clean, water pressure was perfect, my only issue with the bathroom was the tiny sink and no counter to keep a toothbrush on. The description of the place indicates there’s a pool. The pool was closed and upon looking closer appeared to be empty of water. I was really looking forward to relaxing at the pool after a day of traveling by boat, bus and train only to discover it wasn’t even available. The description also indicated the resort is attached to a shopping centre which is completely false, there was no shopping centre or even more than one restaurant nearby. Food at this restaurant was average but luckily there was a good wine selection! Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone

Had an early morning flight, so wanted to stay close to the airport. It was great that I could book a shuttle to the airport thru the hotel, but there was a fee. There is very limited dining options and it doesn't feel walkable area as there are few sidewalks.

Everything about this property was beautiful. Close to the bus stops, and you can walk to get food if needed. The pool was great, and there were poolside snacks if you were hungry. The breakfast buffet was freshly made and so good. Very close to the airport and a 15-minute drive or 1-hour bus ride to the canal! Amazing stay and staff.

Lovely hotel close to the airport. Hotel staff were rude and abrupt. Asked for guidance on where to go for shops and just pointed in the direction, not helpful. Breakfast was included but was terrible. Bacon was raw and when asked if we could have it cooked the rude waitress snapped and loudly said NO that’s the way it comes. The rest of the guests looked up in shock and became a joke through the morning with similar remarks and attitude towards guests. Terrible experience. Hotel transfer rang us at airport and told us to catch a cab. It’s approx 4km from Marco Polo but cab is minimum 20 euro and needs to be cash. Highway robbery! The hotel does offer courtesy bus to one restaurant about 1.5km away where the food was good. Bed super uncomfortable and shower so small water goes everywhere.
