Nice hotel, pet fees are higher than what expedia says, 45$ versus 30$. The pet friendly room was good, a bit disappointed by the shower/bath setup. Gym is okay, regular pulley system, couple of threadmills. The 7th floor patio was locked, looks good but not sure when it’s available. 7th floor is not really setup for remote work, had to ask them to stop the ambiance music, open area, no obvious closed areas to take calls in.

The hotel location was good, about a 15 minute walk to Old Montreal, the Basilica, Old Port, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Gym was nice. Underground parking was convenient. We would stay here again.

Parking - gotta pay extra for in and out access outside of the flat parking rate. The one time I actually went to leave the garage the exit was broken. Leaving the hotel using their I and out pass was a nightmare I had to call a parking attendant to come help and they had to scan my parking ticket back and forth super fast to get the machine to let us out… parking is also extremely busy weekend nights, the parking garage is attached to a club of some sort and a bunch of other stores Cleanliness - the whole room was dusty as heck, the walls were dusty, the table tops, everything. Everytime I took a deeper breath I’d cough from the dust… Check in - I was given a key card to a room, I go to my room key card doesn’t work. I go all the way back down to the front desk where I’m told they’ve been having issues with the cards, she magnetized the card and told me to try again. I tried again only to fail… go back down a second time and they gave me a different room which finally worked. Honestly, for the price I don’t recommend this place… not sure why it was rated so highly either…

We have stayed in the Toronto Airport Alt, which we like, and this hotel was very similar. The major problem was parking. The hotel doesn't have its own lot and the one it typically uses was under renovation. To find out where to go, we had to find street parking (not easy in the area) walk back to the hotel and get directions. The lot we were sent to was a couple of blocks away, but, unlike the lot the hotel regularly uses, it didn't have EV charging, which we were counting on. Also, the very modern bathroom was not ideal for seniors like us. The tub shower combination had no fixtures to hold on to and the handler for the faucet was so sleek it couldn't be turned with wet hands.

The room was nice but not very clean. There was blood on our shower curtain and long black hair on the walls in the shower. They changed the curtain when we complained but they should have done more.

The room itself wasn’t very clean when we arrived, dusty windowsills, baseboards and shelving in the bathroom. Popcorn on the bathroom floor when we arrived and was still there after the bathroom was cleaned after our first night. I have photos but can’t seem to share

Staff showed an ideal mix of professionalism/hospitality and friendliness. Shower doors have a design flaw: they don’t stay closed allowing water out onto the bathroom floor. Not all rooms have refrigerators, unfortunately which ones do (811) and don’t (812) are not know prior to occupancy.

beautiful hotel in a walkable part of town. The only complaint is even the 8th floor the street noise kept us up. Also the walls seem thin as the hallway noise was prominent as well. Otherwise great place!

Room is new and clean. It was a great way to end our day with a nice hot shower after a day of travel mishaps. Pleasant staff greeted us at front the desk. Very close to restaurants and convenient stores to get drinks but there is no fridge in the room. Hotel sells good selection of beers and non alcoholic beverages. I’d choose this hotel again.

Overall super pleasant stay over thanksgiving weekend. Staff were polite and it was very quiet. They also accommodated our request to be in a higher floor which was excellent. The rooms were also very nice and clean. One thing I will say is that the bathrooms are less than private to say the least. There is a sheer window from the shower into the main bedroom and the doors of the bathroom don’t close all the way either or lock. Great for a couple or one person, not great if you were traveling with someone else. Finally, the hotel had snacks available to purchase in the lobby.

Really elegant and stylish hotel - the room had so many useful design features (a shelf in the bathroom so your toiletries don’t get wet by the sink, a second, handheld shower head, a niche to charge your phone, another niche in the headboard for your phone and glasses). Our room had a large window with a stunning view, AND excellent blackout curtains, and the hotel was easy walking distance to the Old Town. I would definitely stay there again - excellent value, and SO much better to stay on the island!

We chose this hotel based on its excellent reviews, only to endure the most disappointing Christmas holiday. My husband slipped severely in the bathtub, injuring his shoulder and toe—their bathtub was extremely slippery. When I contacted the front desk, the staff showed no expression or concern. I complained to the hotel management, but the manager only offered a casual “sorry” without any follow-up improvements, compensation, or even a gesture of care. The hotel management was utterly disappointing. This hotel has permanently scarred my husband’s right shoulder and left us with lasting resentment.

We were supposed to have flown up Friday AM from Halifax for the 4 Nations Face-Off games on Saturday, but flight was cancelled and no other flights until Sunday were available. So we drove from Halifax and let the hotel know we’d be late. Upon arrival, the front desk staff knew our story and greeted us with kindness. Inside the room on our bed was a handwritten note signed by the staff, with a welcome basket. Our two nights there were excellent.

staff was super friendly and helpful. small snafu checking in, but cleared up easily enough. only complaint was that nespresso machine was not working properly, and told front desk, left a note for housekeeping (in both english and french) to please replace - and it never got replaced. front desk was nice enough to comp coffee, except on the last day, when I have 3 charges for coffee on my bill (?)

This hotel room was very spacious! It was a bit modern- uncomfy room chairs, but the beds were good as was the shower. The price was great. No breakfast wasn't a big problem as good options are around the property. Nespresso machine is available, and the closets are plentiful. No pool was available in the hotel, but it's a nice place to stay to be near Old Montreal. We walked everywhere or used the bus. Our car stayed parked in the garage (which has auto doors).

I have been staying in many Alt hotels. This one is a little different as it is not as cozy. It took very long to find my name when I checked in as they inversed my name and my family name, breakfast was VERY LIMITED and contrary to many hotels, the associate restaurant was absent. I went to the Palma and moved out; we found another one but not in the building. I think it would be easy to organîze better as staff seems very pleasant.

Modern hotel in a decent location. No kitchen on site but restaurants nearby although not informed of that by the hotel staff so on the first day walked all the way to the Old Port for breakfast. A strange thing was that they took $50 per night from you for incidentals. With no bar, restaurant or any facilities to speak of this made me curious as to why they would do that.

I did like the area was a little more neighborhood like than being right downtown. The walk wasn’t too far and Rue Peel made it easy to find our street. A couple challenges were breakfast was not included so that added a lot of cost. With paying extra for parking and breakfast the cost was over $350 a week night. This was a lot for a hotel room that was not on weekend and just outside of downtown. Seemed like it was going to be reasonably costed when we booked it, but fees and other charges exploded the overall cost.
