Relax Inn - Saginaw

Took forever for water to get hot. Disappointed to find no tissues or hair dryer. I didn’t inquire if hair dryer was available. Was very clean, quiet, comfortable.

After majing mybreservation on Expedia, i had contacted the motel to notify id ve a late (2300) check in. They said that was no problem. The genetleman at the check in office was polite and was the fastest check in ive ever had. My room had its own parking. My room was perfect! It was a small room with 1bed, tv, fridge, microwave. A in all AC that worked great! (I like to sleep in 65-67°) the bathroom was small but roomy enough for 1 person. I had plenty of hot water and clean towels. I traveled alone and did not need a huge hotel room or king or double bed. The fullsize for 1 was big enough. Id recommended this place to all my friends. It is a no frills cozy and quiet place outside of town thats safe with no riff raff.

Cheap, small, uncomfortable beds, very little hot water in shower and most of all no ice machine.

Great for someone traveling with dogs. Very big grassy area for them

Hotel was off the beaten path, but was clean, updated and comfortable. There was a LOT of green space to walk my dog and room was quiet and updated.

Room was very clean. It included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. My family has stayed here several times and will stay again in the future when we visit the area.

5 star cleanliness and price. To say the room was small is an over statement. The room was probably 12X10 ft. Between the armoire and bed was maybe 1 foot aisle. Everything was on the armoire. TV, Microwave, frig and three small dresser drawers. No closet, no ironing board or iron. A small alcove in the wall was the closet. Two people could not walk through the room at the same time. A lot of comments were that it was quiet. It is. No restaurants, gas station, convenience store, nothing for about ten miles. The bottom line? This place is small, but not bad. Just be prepared that the quarters are very tight.

Great old-school motel. Drive up and park in front of your room. Very nice and peaceful location. Gave me flashbacks of road-trips as a kid as I pulled in. Nothing fancy but looked nice. Was very surprised when I went in the room. It was a very nice updated room. Microwave, refrigerator, a nice desk area, even a small table with a couple chairs. It was a little tight for the 3 of us, but it did the job. Bathroom was very nice, the only knock would be it’s a little small, but nothing they can do about that. Would definitely stay again.

Older smaller units that are renovated with new carpet, furniture, paint and TV. I would stay again.

The room was dirty. We found socks on the floor by the bed. The fridge and microwave were dirty. The shower curtain was gross and you couldn't take a proper shower anyway, due to the water not draining properly.

Updated looking. Grounds nice. Had to clean the bathroom; makes you wonder how clean the rest is. If is wasnt for being so tired, late and other family here i would have went some where else.

Very, very dirty - the sheets had bug residue, I assumed from bed bugs. I left and went to another hotel.

The inn was a 10 minute drive to nearest town. Also, instead of paying when you check out, you pay when you check in. After a few hours, I noticed a black beetle on the floor. I thought ok, fluke thing. Wrong, there were more black beetles during our 2 night stay. I complained when checking out, the man said he would reimburse me $30. I never received a credit. Now I know why they have you pay when you check in. Also had to call for housekeeping to replenish our items since housekeeping never came. The bed was stiff and hurt both mine and my boyfriend's back for days.I would not suggest to stay at this inn.

The rooms are in need of repair. The carpet was very dirty. The bathroom smelled of urine.

Looks like mom and pop place, but I heard the check-in person say they didn't have any rooms for a person who was on the phone with them. That person asked what a local room was and they said it rents by the hour. For the most part if it was a true mom and pop place, it was okay the furniture had been upgraded it was a small bathroom but I can deal with that everything was good until I saw two bed bugs this morning one on my sweatshirt and one in the bed. I had bed bug killer I killed both of them. I left earlier than the office was open so I could not report the bugs. But there was one visible on the sheets I left for a present.

Stayed for one night easy check in room Was clean and didn’t have any odd smells. Bed and pillows comfy had a good sleep. All linens nice and clean and smells fresh.

This property is just a place to sleep . No frills. Our room was not updated in quite a while ,bathroom was rough,but we slept well . It did the job.

Not a bad place to stay for a night. Mom and Pop place compared to the big hotels. Room was very very small AC unit in the window did not have any controls buttons are all taken off Wi-Fi very intermittent. With my dog fee the room cost $90 for the night. Definitely not worth $90.

Clean, recently remodeled, quiet, friendly and responsive staff, quiet and reasonable cost. Bathrooms are tiny. Sorta remote so if you want a restaurant, you'll do a little driving. No pool but screaming children either. I spent most of my time there in uninterrupted slumber. A high priority.

Cool A/C. Bathroom, esp the shower, was a bit on the small size, but the room had a fresh renovation and a shower curtain that didn't really fit.

Definitely not a 8.8 as advertised. Maybe re like a 6. Nice people. Shower wouldn’t drain. Refrigerator full of water. Dogs are $20 per dog per night

Pretty sure I stayed in the same room as the first time I was there and the bathroom door still didn’t shut. The tv did work this time though.

Its was a really cute studio apartment type set up. But the lights between the beds didn't work. It was clean. No bugs. Quiet. The guy that works there is polite. It was a neat lil place. The microwave was wonky and touchy. The toilet didn't flush right. The fridge was super tiny and one tiny trash can for a 2 person 4 day stay?! Yeah that needs to be improved upon but overall, we enjoyed it

Property manager was incredibly polite and worked with us on a late check in. The inn was cozy and quiet. It was just off the beaten path to stay away from the crowds of Frankenmuth but close enough to drive in and visit. Awesome pricing and wonderful customer service!

Nice place. Clean and well taken care of. The man whonchecked us in we very helpful with telling us local attractions and good restaurants and how to get to them.

I just always feel safe here! I cannot express enough how the staff are so very nice & caring! They've went out of their way to help me while my Mama was transported to St. Mary's Saginaw Mi from Tawas Mi & we're from Oscoda Mi. They truly touched my heart with their kindness! Bonus- the beds here are incredibly comfortable & it's quiet & kind of out of the way but only 10 minutes from hospital.

It was fine overall. They had outdated understandings of service dog laws. The rooms were mostly clean but could be cleaned better. Blankets were paperthin. The person who does check in at night made me feel uncomfortable/ didn’t give a lot of personal space. Amenities were lacking.

The butler is very eager to please. He was so helpful.

Good accommodation for a "no frills" motel. Clean and simple. The staff is very friendly. I'll stay there again next time I'm in the area.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as it was close to an event we had plans for. The room was okay but the bathroom was very small and the door did not latch. The air conditioner had a strange smell when I turned it on and when we went outside to our vehicle we somehow got locked out of the room. Then we had an emergency and needed to cut our stay short by a day. I asked about a refund for the day we were unable to stay and I was told they couldn't issue one as I booked my stay through Expedia, well I contacted Expedia and explained the situation and they contacted the hotel who refused to give us a refund. Basically they lied to us when they said they were unable to do anything because we booked through a 3rd party. They could have given us a refund for the one night but simply refused (I did not plan to have an emergency cut our trip short). Also, when we were being checked in our credit card information was manually entered and I watched as they saved the card information on their tablet (like you can do on your phones to use it again) when I questioned why I was simply told they had too.

It was a nice clean place. When we called to have our toilett seat fasten service was there right away. That shows you too that toilett seat is removed for cleaning. I can highly recommend Relax Inn. I would book there again.

Good experience at this old-school motel. The room looked like the photos and appeared to be well-maintained. Great value for the service. I enjoyed the peaceful rural location that was close to Saginaw.

Quiet location in the country surrounded by farmland. Nice country road to walk on. Friendly staff.

What we did enjoy was it's very quiet and off the beaten path. The overall hotel is a bit dated. But the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Nice out of the way to stay, quiet, definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to visit shiawassee wildlife refuge for bird photography. And its not to far to Frankenmuth too. Great price also

For being on a main road outside of Saginaw it was nice and quiet. It had a cozy atmosphere and it wasn't far in my opinion for restaurants and shopping.
