We picked the hotel because of its position in the city and it proved very convenient being only 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. The staff were very helpful. The only downside was that they wanted to charge $25 to park there or $20 in a car park across the road. In the event we found a space on the road outside which was free. We did not eat at the hotel.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help, they truly made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, from the rooms to the common areas. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent parking facilities, easy access, secure, and plenty of space, which is a huge plus. This spotless and modern hotel was a 10-minute stroll to downtown and close to several cafes and restaurants (including one in the lobby). The room was spacious and, again, spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything looked brand new. If you tell them ahead of time you need parking, you might score a parking spot right downstairs. Either way, the second parking lot is literally across the street. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, 10 minute walk from the center of downtown! Very clean with lots of space and a nice bathroom. My chief complaint would be that instead of a king mattress for the bed, they put together two twins, and you could feel the gap in the middle, also we found many hairs from others around such as on the bed and decorative pillows etc, even one on the toilet. Other than that this place is perfect and I will stay here again.

Close proximity to city center within 15 minutes walking distance. Hotel appeared modern with restaurant inside. Service was okay. We asked for our room to be cleaned daily but other than making bed and taking out the trash, nothing else was really done. They didn’t stock the coffee, didn’t replace towels or used glasswares. They rinsed the glasses for us periodically. Room was not vacuumed in the 4 days we were there. Parking was very limited. Average overall experience.

As a former cleaning company owner I noticed serious dirt build up in both rooms I stayed in 419 & 405 in each bathroom particularly around the basin overflow & shower floor around the doors. I feel the cleaners should be given small brushes similar to toothbrushes, if not cleaned properly this will become build up & therefore uncleanable in future. I was given Room 405 the second stay, it was right opposite the cleaners station & super noisy with yelling at 8am etc. I will never understand why single females are given the worst rooms while paying exactly the same money as a man & woman, of course this is always denied by the front desks. Speaking of which the Carnmore team are lovely.

Few good things are 1. Receptionists are welcoming. 2. There are plenty of free parking around the hotel and super easy to walk to the city. The major downside of this place was that, the room was dirty from the beginning and the staff didn’t care to clean properly. Felt like they didn’t even bother vacuuming the floor. The shower had mold and toilet seat was broken. The AC vent had so much visible dust and had allergies throughout the stay. I wouldn’t personally recommend this place or going back again.

我覺得這是一間設備都相對齊全的酒店。接待處職員非常友善，入住的時候酒店贈送了Brownie給我們，味道很不錯。進入到房間，我覺得值得稱讚的事，廁所的通風系統很好，好像是抽風系統一直在運行，所以每逢我們洗完澡之後，浴室很快就乾掉。去水也很快。電視方面是智能電視，可以看Netflix和YouTube，這點我們很喜歡。床鋪也很整潔和舒適，唯一有點意見的地方是，洗手的水龍頭去水有點慢，以及書桌位置沒有插座可以幫電腦充電。而且走廊隔音有點差，其他住客路過聊天都會聽到，不過幸好住客都比較遵守行為，所以我們晚上都睡得很好。酒店沒有微波爐提供，所以限制了部份早餐選擇。跟市中心都距離近，社區很幽靜，要走5-10分鐘才有便利店。整體來說我們都滿意酒店的配套。

Nice comfy bed and quiet rooms. Good pressure in the shoewr The accesable rooms need some consideration. A bit more space to get a wheel chair around the bed. Not enough room to turn a wheelchair around. The bathroom wasnt accesable. No hand rails to hold on to. And toilet is low and no hand rails to assist in getting your self up. This is a safty concern.

Great place to stay close to the CBD, we easily walked to the Isaac theatre for a show. Very quiet location, no road noise. Room was very clean and tidy with good seating - only drawback was no windows available to open. Shower was awesome with a rain head option. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Offsite parking felt a bit dodgy as it’s surrounded by graffiti’d walls and very run down buildings, but vehicle was still there each morning. The restaurant was fantastic - we had both dinner and breakfast, dinner - best steak - highly recommend.

I liked the big windows and facing north. The room was very clean and the hotel too. The room size was good, bed very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. I thought the dining room / restaurant was very dark painted black and I didn't like that. I didn't eat on site. I booked on site parking which was occupied by another car when I arrived back late one evening. I was tired and needed to go out early next morning. So I was not happy about this. The Hotel should have systems in place to prevent this happening. I got a 2 day refund for my parking. Staff were generally very helpful. In hindsight I would have preferred a hotel closer to the CBD.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly well appointed and looked newly renovated. There were new laundry facilities on our floor. The view from our room was disappointing in that it looked out on the wall of the building next door. The hotel was a short walk to the city core.

To start with I find the elevator have no scanning card wish anyone can come up to any floor I travel a lot and I find that it's lack of security , when it's comes to the room it's very small but it's acceptable the TV has no channels or anything to watch very basic,

Amazing service by the reception team and the housekeeping team - kudos to Ding, Helena and Eleanor who really took care of my needs during my stay, as well as the housekeeping lead who took note of my preferred cleaning time religiously - very convenient as a result to plan my day. Close to town, quiet and safe area - plenty of great restaurants around too. Highly recommend if you are visiting Christchurch (even on longer stay as the price is quite reasonable also compared to the other hotels that I researched on back then). Anyway, good stay and good choice of hotel.

The front desk trainee staff when we were checking in was very slow and have a very bad memory. Gave us a wrong parking spot, and said “apparently I haven’t checked you in” when she literally checked us in less than 10 mins ago. And I was holding the room key card. I understand is trainee, but can do better.

It did what we wanted which was a bed for the last couple nights of our long holiday. Comfortable and lovely. Could do more of the breakfast buffet though for the price we paid though. But the staff on our first night of arriving were great. We arrived late due to a trip on our first night and kitchen were closing but they accommodated us with some food. We really appreciated that. Thanks

Excellent. Really nice facilities, clean and modern. Extra nice were the liquid soaps, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizers. Super convenient spot close to everything. Really fantastic having Hoi Polloi restaurant at the bottom, great food, great coffee. And lovely friendly helpful staff all around. Also nice touch for me was the lobby and all the beautiful plants everywhere.

Okay standard hotel. The buffet breakfast is very standard- in fact not worth the price. Shower was broken, and pressure was below average. Room housekeeping was a little disappointing with rooms being serviced at 2:00. Staff at check in were not very helpful and incorrectly charged up and left us with a terrible charge at the end of the stay. We were told we had breakfast included , didn’t eat there every morning but at check out were charged for each days breakfast regardless of we ate or not

Clean and quiet hotel within walking distance to many points of interest within Christchurch. Front staff were friendly and helpful although check-in time was busy so be prepared to wait. The restaurant looked nice (we didn't dine there) but the bar staff seemed overrun. We waited for more than 5 minutes to order a drink (no one else was at the bar) and after not getting served - or even acknowledged - we left to go elsewhere.

Lovely new hotel in excellent location. Comfortable room with great space. Excellent shower and facilities. Loved the happy hour and slow food restaurant - Hoipolloi. Would definitely stay again as great value for the price. Staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful.

The hotel and rooms are very nice. The service really good. The restaurant is a hot mess. At least when we came for breakfast. It took an hour to get the food and the coffee was Luke warm. Another table left after an hour wait I sent my scrambled eggs back - they were straight off the buffet.
