A great find in the heart of the city within walking distance of everything. The roof terrace was an extra touch and we took our own drinks and snacks up most evenings to enjoy the view of the acropolis and chat. Rooms large and exceptionally clean. Beds and pillows SO COMFY that we slept like logs despite being located on a busy road. Definitely worth paying a little more for a balcony room too. Friendly helpful staff on the service desk available night and day.

We checked in after our flight. Room has everything you need, rooftop view of Acropolis at night is wonderful. Staff were very nice and helped us with questions about sight visits and directions. Maybe 10 minute walk to Acropolis area and easy to find. Stores, restaurants and things to do close by. Great price. Would stay again. Room is nice size.

This was a really cute boutique hotel. Very clean. Front desk very helpful. Really small lift but it held the 2 of us plus 2 large suitcases. The location was fantastic. A couple blocks from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. We also took the hop on hop off and where you got on was very close, as well. The rooftop has a great view of the Acropolis at night. Took some great pictures. Also, close to lots of restaurants too. I would definitely stay there again, very good price!

Excellent modern Hotel with very comfortable in room facilities. Fantastic rooftop garden with amazing views. Only drawback no restaurant to bar. Would be good to have a small range of alcoholic beverages available for self service on the rooftop. Plenty of dining opportunities available within short walking distance.

The property was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. 5 minutes to the Acropolis museum and entrance to the acropolis. The room was modern and had a fridge and coffee pods. The property has a covered rooftop patio that had a view of the acropolis. An unexpected bonus.

This was a nice property close to the metro and walking distance to Acropolis and eateries. The lobby area is small but the room was a great size and clean! The bed was comfortable and the room was modern. The amenities on property was limited but there was water and tea available in the lobby area and upstairs on the rooftop. The rooftop was very cute with views of the Parthenon but it's literally there just to hang out. No bar service or food. I would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel. The room met our expectation and felt it was right for the cost. Our room was clean, spacious and the furniture and fixtures were relatively new. The bed was also comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The property in very walkable distance to the Acropolis museum area where there are a bunch of restaurants. There's an incredible view of the Acropolis from the rooftop space - don't miss going up to see it! Some "cons" that didn't bother us much, but may bother others: our room faced the main road and we found it noisy at points during the night. There was no full length mirror in the room. Housekeeping doesn't come by until after your second night stay - we were able to request fresh towels, so not an issue for us at all. Overall, a great stay and I would return here in the future.

This property has went down hill. I stayed here multiple times the last few years. Be aware daily housekeeping is not a thing despite there not being a policy for it on Expedia. I asked for clean towels regardless since we didn't get a clean till day 3 and was told that's €7?! I reconfirmed he meant €7 for towels and yes he did. Hardly luxury, even a basic hotel would do this. This was not the case a few years ago. The room we had was so noisy too be aware if you're at the front of the property. We won't be returning and I'll no longer be recommending this property to my clients and friends.

Clean and modern hotel. Staff were very pleasant. Lovely view of the acropolis from the roof terrace. My only negative issue is that the rims are not sound proofed from the hotel corridor. It often felt that people talking in the corridor were actually in the room with us.

The Good: - newly renovated - good and friendly service at the front desk - convient location The not so great - Really noisy from within the hotel - Don’t look under the bed as cleaning doesn't go that far - follow up on queries may be an issue Overall, a good place to stay and if you are normally a very sound sleeper. It’s a stay and go type of place. If you want a good night sleep, it might be a bit tough. You will hear people talking, doors and lift on your floor or the floor above. The fridge in the room is also quite loud with the motor coming on every 10 mins or so. We stayed for 5 nights and all 3 of us (2 adults and a child) were awaken by some form of noise multiple times during each night. Door slamming and hallway discussion being the main culprits. Otherwise, perfectly reasonable place to stay with generally clean room, free water every 2 days (no free bottle of wine as promised but oh well), and generally good customer service. The only small bit of complaint I have is that I asked reception to check what the cleaners may have done with cuddly toy that was on my daughter bed. We believe the cleaners may have wrapped up the sheets along with the cuddly toy when they cleaned the room and removed it. However, despite being promised that they will come back to me, I have yet to hear back. Its her favourite toy and we should have moved it to a safe place rather than left it on the bed on cleaning day, but would have been nice for a follow up.

Cons: very small lift, very small lobby and breakfast area, very little storage (no closet only hangers). My guess is this was a residential building with renovated apartments.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Dachterasse. Das einzige, was uns gefehlt hat war ein Kleiderschrank. Diesen haben wir schmerzlich vermisst, da es auch kaum Ablageflächen gab. Zimmerservice kommt alle 2 Tage, was für uns ok war. Nespresso auf dem Zimmer war super. Die Hauptstraße vor dem Haus ist nicht schön, aber die Plaka ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Magenta in Athens. The location was perfect—just outside the busy zone, offering a peaceful atmosphere, yet very walkable to the main attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After a long travel day, they went out of their way to get us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. After a day of travel and exploring, it was a great place to relax and recharge. Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent service. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is on a main and busy street, average neighborhood, but conveniently located close to the train/metro station, not too far from Acropolis and other historical sights and the touristy area. The room was beautiful and clean, well equipped, bed was very comfortable, complimentary water and a bottle of white wine for staying 3 nights, the staff very friendly and specially Yanni(John) at the desk who was very helpful and nice. There is a rooftop with chairs and tables accessible to the guests with a wonderful view of the Acropolis. We enjoyed our stay very much at this hotel.

Hotel was very well located. Walking distance to Acropolis and all the restaurants. The hotel is clean and staff super friendly. I recommend dining at the 24hs restaurant a block away from the hotel. Food is great and they have full menu at all times.

We weren’t sure of the area upon arrival; however, it turned out to be fine. Graffiti is prevalent in Athens and isn’t indicative of level of safety. The hotel is only a 7-10 minute walk from the Acropolis area and a spiderweb of quaint streets lined with shops and restaurants. In fact, if you consider up to a half hour’s walk as “walking distance,” as we do, you can make it to Syntagma Square (Parliament building and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier); Athens’ central market (fish/meat market); the Olympic stadium (name slips my mind); and the National Gardens. The hotel does not offer laundry service, but there are self-serve laundromats within a 5-7 minute walk. Honestly, walking allows you to see local life and culture (and yummy bakeries and such) best, anyway. The metro station is only a couple of minutes away, though, and there is a 24-hour restaurant about 2 blocks over. Uber services the area, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful (shout out to Kostas!) and the hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a nice rooftop patio for guests to share that offers some views of the city. If the spiral marble staircase is too much, there is a small, 2-3 person elevator as well. Our room had a small patio with partial views, and while the chairs were older and mismatched, we honestly didn’t have a lot of time to make use of them anyway. Staff freshened up our room every other day. No breakfast included, but there’s coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent modern Hotel with very comfortable in room facilities. Fantastic rooftop garden with amazing views. Only drawback no restaurant to bar. Walkable to many historic sites. Courteous staff, although they could have been a bit more responsive to questions I had prior to the stay. No room service or in-hotel food options, but they have a roof-top terrace with a nice view. Rooms were compact, but clean.

The room was really nice and very clean. The brought-in breakfast was fresh and surprisingly delicious (I wasn’t expecting much). The front desk attendant went above and beyond with support when we had a lost passport. Walking distance to the Plaka and the Acropolis, and a taxi stand just at the end of the block. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was a nice property close to the metro and walking distance to Acropolis and eateries. The lobby area is small but the room was a great size and clean! The bed was comfortable and the room was modern. The amenities on property was limited but there was water and tea available in the lobby area and upstairs on the rooftop. The rooftop was very cute with views of the Parthenon but it's literally there just to hang out. No bar service or food. I would recommend this property.

This was a wonderful hotel, centrally located, with a welcoming staff that stored our luggage for the day, 2 bottles of water plus assorted coffees & teas with coffee machine & hot pot, fridge, Free bottle of dry wine with stemware…luxury treatment. My only worry was that the very, very small elevator could not accommodate us & the amount of luggage, but it was never an issue & actually provided a few laughs. Tables for games & lounge area with same drink choices off check-in. Great WiFi. It was perfect.

Great hotel, extremely helpful staff. Hotel is nice, spacious rooms, good bed etc, and a small but really nice rooftop terrace. Best part of the stay was the helpful staff - when I forgot my AirPods in my room they spent 45 mins looking for them with me until we finally found them. Also helpful with luggage storage etc.
