We stayed at this hotel because we travelled from Northern California to go to a concert in Pasadena. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, they were always available anytime we needed anything. Staff checked in with us to make sure the room was clean. Pool and hot tub were small but nice looking. Parking was always available. My only complaint is that from one side you couldn't see the sign very well because of tree branches, so I drove by as we got there at night and it was an unfamiliar area.

This was an excellent motel. Well maintained, very clean, great laundry. I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was simple but good. There were 2 car chargers which you had to pay for but the price was as I would expect for this type of place.

I am reposting my review because it got posted before I finished it. I tried to delete it but there is no option to. I gave a 4 star rating for the overall experience. Great grounds, breakfast, area, cleanliness and parking. I didn't give a 5 star rating because of the inconvenience and trouble and the operations of the laundry facilities. It was extremely frustrating having to sign up, put a bunch of my information in and use an app to just wash my clothes. It required me to put in a minimum flat rate of which I didn't use all of the funds. For those not tech savy, I can only image their frustration. And the hotel doesn't control the laundry room so they couldn't help.

Great location, 1/2 mile from a lot of convenient shopping and dining, also near my daughter's home. Helpful staff, clean room with fridge & microwave. Pool is also nice. Couldn't ask for more!

Was very disappointed with this stay. We have made this hotel our go to when we come into town to visit family due to the previous stays being decently clean. However, this time was much different. There were numerous clumps of hair in the shower curtain when we let it down as well as many stuck to the wall in the shower. We found hair in the linens but luckily we pack our own linens for that very reason. We also found a cricket on our wall…which I guess is better than a roach but still made it hard to sleep wondering if his family was going to party on the bed all night. While all these things are fairly minor, it’s enough for us to consider finding a new spot to stay when we are in town.

Great traditional “motor inn” style motel. Very clean, comfortable quiet. The staff are extremely polite and helpful housekeeping was over the top for details. The breakfast was complete with waffles eggs sausage, etc.. The hot tub wasn’t added bonus.

There were bugs on the bed and the wall. The door wouldn't close nor secure properly, making me feel unsafe. I was unable to fully close the drapes while undressing. The front desk service was poor.

Nice and quit , the only thing is the carpet was so dirty that your feet get dirty so fast with no slippers.there where two sheets to cover yourself . Basically the bed didn’t have a sheet .be care with does free pasty in the lobby I took I bite of one and there was mold grown inside .gross and disgusting

I’ve stayed here before because my child goes to college nearby and it’s so convenient. This time, however, I had a non-smoking room that smelled really badly of stale cigarette smoke — like soaked into the carpet. I got there with not much time to request a change in my room so I stayed the night, but it was disappointing.

We stayed here for an easy drive to Universal Studios and other locations around Hollywood, Pasadena, and downtown Los Angeles. The motel was a great price for the location and distance from our plans. The only thing was that four adults shared two double beds. They felt very small. The room space was very large for all of us. The bathroom since was separate from the shower/toilet. There was a good sized mini fridge, coffee machine, and microwave. TV, full size desk, full size wardrobe. (You could totally fit an air mattress in the room too). The breakfast was very basic but was included in the stay. There was one night where we had to park on the farthest side of the motel, away from our room. Again, the only downside was the size of the beds. Check in and out was super easy and quick too!

Staff are kind. Nice little pool and hot tub. Some car noise during the night from the busy road, and rooms are very basic. Beds are too firm for my taste, and were only full-sized beds, not queen, in the two-bed rooms. Sheets were a bit scratchy, soap dispensers felt cheap as well as the products in them. No breakfast on-site but some 10% off coupons were given (highly recommend Lola's!) Clearly it's been renovated recently, but has a low-budget flip feel. Eagle Rock has a lot of nice and casual restaurants. Overall, it's perfectly ok for a night or two if you're going to be out and about. Not the kind of place I'd want to hangout and relax.

Clean, serviceable, friendly staff, and very comfortable bed.The room smelled musty upon arrival, the toilet flushing was unbearably loud, and I'm not a fan of the pump dispenser for hand soap, but it was a great location and there was free parking and we were only there one night. Would stay again, but next time be more prepared for the general room noise.

Check in was easy, super friendly staff, explained everything I needed to know, and let me know about the breakfast times, once I checked in and got settled in the front desk called me to make sure I found everything to my liking, which I found to be very attentive. I like feeling safe when in cities I’m not familiar with. I thought this was a great area. Some nice dining options within walking distance. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub as well. Good value for your money😊

This is an alright place to stay but, the older woman with salt and pepper hair that is behind the counter sometimes is not nice at all. I was only trying to ask her a question and she rudely and abruptly snapped back at me. All she needed to say is, "I am sorry, I am busy at the moment. Please wait a moment and someone will be with you." That type of response and attitude is not acceptable!

It was terrible, drove over 4 hours to the location. Couldn't check in . After 9 hours of Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror nights (walking). They canceled my reservation. Here I'm trying to find a hotel, which it wouldn't allow me to book, because the date was already passed. I was on the line with customer service for almost an hour. Hotel unseen and $50 more than my original price. I should been refunded and given the additional cost refunded, because they canceled my reservation and left me im the dark. Very unprofessional, and bad business

The hotel room was clean and area was calm. The parking is limited to a first come basis, but i never had an issue finding a parking spot. The check in and check out process was easy and the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast had many good options for me and my nephew to choose from. And house keeping did an amazing job. It wasnt too far from universal studios and disneyland. Will stay here again when i am in the area.

I wont recommend this hotel if you concern about the safety/security, we spent 1 night with my families, a homeless guy knocked our doors hardly with his feet at the midnight and did swearing loudly, our kids were scared and we couldn't sleep at all.

Stayed here for a week while we moved our daughter into Occidental College. It’s just a few minutes away from the college. The room was clean and staff were very nice and helpful. Will likely stay here again when we travel to visit our daughter while she’s in school.

Huge rooms in a great location! 15 minute Uber to Dodger stadium. Starbucks, and other food options within walking distance, steps away from the hotel. Will definitely be staying there again next time i go to an event at Dodger stadium.

Room was clean, free parking and breakfast included which was a bonus. Short mileage from a lot of sites. Breakfast room not good. Way too small and not easy to get around to get your food or coffee. Would be better if breakfast options changed for variety.
