I wish this hotel had self parking

Amazing hotel, great service and beautiful pool area. It is valet parking only, was not aware of that but they were nice enough to come up to my room and hand me my phone when I left it in the car. Very nice amenities and atmosphere. More of a couple, business destination than family friendly but there is a restaurant downstairs and right outside the hotel. Loved our stay!

Very nice staff, and very clean hotel! We all loved hanging out at the pool, using the gym, and the snacks and AM treats were all nice touches

Great property - pool difficult to locate but clean

The property was fine but the 40.00 charge for valet with no other option was ridiculous

I have stayed at Hotel ZaZa Memorial many times. The management and staff are always top-notch and accomodating. My last visit my room was near the highway and too loud to sleep. Alexis (manager) was really sweet and offered a different room. MUCH better. The ZaSpa is always amazing also! Can't wait to return when the pool is open!

The women at check-in were friendly and focused on customer service. Made it very seamless and easy. The room was quiet, very clean, updated and made the stay that much better. Hotel is in a good location to the highway with plenty of restaurants and a mall next door. Great stay and can't wait to get back.

Beautiful room, clean modern hotel

We enjoyed our stay and the food and service were excellent. The front desk accommodated us and upgraded our room after we checked in and our room was not made ready from the previous people staying. The front desk apologized and took care of us immediately. Thanks

Clean and great location

Nice room horrible view

This is my first time staying at the Zaza location. I’ve stayed in the medical district and at the one in Dallas and I think I’ve even visited the one in Austin for brunch once. This was my first time in Memorial city Zaza. Oh my goodness! I wasn’t told that I was being upgraded and wow what a wonderful surprise! I was given the beach suite and it was so beautiful! Will definitely come back.

Overall nice hotel. The rooms have very poor lighting. Quiet.

Everything at Zaza felt welcoming, casual & cool. Our only criticism is that we were in an area with a total of 6 doors in very close proximity & the doors are LOUD when they close. Shake the room type of loud. Everything else was great!

My friends and I had a great stay at hotel Zaza… The rooms are a nice large size with comfortable beds. I look forward to staying with them again in the near future!

Had some trouble with the TV and nobody was able to help… Also having a room by the elevator was not ideal because we could hear people from 1 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the morning

Beautiful hotel in a great location - only complaint is our rooms (we requested a move) were either looking at the highway or a parking lot, so didn’t really want to sit in the patio and the road noise was noticeable. I’m sure there are rooms that are quiet and have a better view. Quality of everything was outstanding from the bed linens, showhead, on-floor morning coffee , so highly recommend. We’ll definitely return!

Our stay at Hotel Zaza was short, just two nights. PROS: *Our room, #922, was spacious and had adequate storage and seating. *The bathroom was lovely, clean and the amenities (shampoo, etc.) were better than average. *We had plenty of hot water. *The bed and linens were quite comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. *The a/c unit worked well, and the television was high quality and easy to figure out. *The wi-fi access was great. CONS: *The room was excessively dark, with light from lamps only. Working at the desk would have required unplugging a lamp, getting an extension cord and placing the lamp on the table. It was DARK! *The safe in the room did not work. We advised the front desk of this on night one and were assured it would be either repaired or replaced asap; it never was. We took our valuables with us on leaving the room. *The bank of charging ports on the work desk did not work. The desk was plugged into an outlet into which a phone was plugged, and the phone worked but not the charging ports. This made it, again, impossible to work at the desk. *Very pricey valet parking is all that is available - there is no on street or nearby parking. I understand this dilemma, however, we should have been notified of this situation when booking our room. *There are 2 Hotels Zaza in Houston, one at Memorial Circle and one at Museum District. We found this out the hard way when our GPS maps took us to the wrong one! Again, some communication would've been helpful.

Long wait time for room service

Rude staff that thinks they are better than the customer. Hotel ZaZa used to be one “The”places place to in Houston, but I will never again waste that kind of money simply based on the staff. You absolutely do not get what you pay for.

When i checked in i was given a room that was very dark because a lamp and a wall light was not working. i called to have it fixed. The guy fixed the desk lamp and never returned to fix the wall light so it dark my entire stay. Most the staff had attitudes. I went to get my car and the valets kept passing by me as i was not there. I extended my ticket to a white valet he looked right at me and kept walking past me. I went to the restaurant and was the first one there.2 white men later came in before me and were greeted and served before me. The place was empty and i had to watch them serve these 2 guys over and over way before me. It was 7 am when i arrived and 8;20 or so before i got my cold food. In both cases i felt it was a color problem. Some of the staff was very nice. Overall i will not ever go here again. For the money i paid i was given a bad room and discriminated against. No value in that.

Jessica & Walter were extremely attentive. My husband & I plan a staycation almost twice a year & it seems we are always inclined to stay @ The Zaza Memorial City Hotel. We return to this particular hotel time and time because of their top notch hospitality.

We spent Valentine's Weekend with ZaZa which also so be our engagement celebration. The staff made our stay amazing, from valet, to the front desk, to the spa, the room decorations I arranged prior to arrival, to housekeeping. This is the reason we choose Hotel ZaZa. They take care of us!

Artsy vibe. If you're not around from the Houston area, this place is pretty central to restaurants and the memorial city mall.

Only weak point was restaurant service. All else was up to ZaZa standard.

The hotel restaurant/bar is excellent! Rooms are a good size and amenities and service are excellent.

Clean, nice staff, great area, free shuttle, good food. Only minus is no breakfast included, only at extra purchase. The breakfast is worth the money though.

Well looked after. I have a dairy and egg allergy and it’s always hard to get good food but here the food was great

Excellent location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to highway. Quiet room. A bit inconvenient with valet-only parking. A hassle to get/wait for the vehicle three times a day. Breakfast is mediocre. Not much dining options onsite. But enough to choose from nearby.

I absolutely loved the hotel. Friendly, unique, great decor, nice touches. Wished weather allowed us to use the fabulous pool. Great menu at restaurant. Didn't want to leave.
