We loved this place! It was new & modern & very well furnished. There was a push button entry to outside & room doors. Alexa controlled lights & curtains & acted as concierge. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautifully restored older building with crown molding and scrolled ceilings about twenty four feet high. Efficiency kitchen came in handy. Good security. Friendly and informative owner and staff. Highly recommend!!

My husband & I stayed in the Darling suite, and we both felt like the accommodations were luxurious! In comparison to the other hotels/B&Bs we stayed at in our 2 weeks in Scotland, this room was double or triple in size! We parked for free on the street just in front of the hotel. The decor was modern and whimsically stylish, and the room was spotless. The king-sized bed was the most comfy of all the others at other establishments. We ordered pizza from a local delivery place and were pleasantly surprised with the service. We were also thrilled that this facility had free laundry machines on site. Check-in & out info was provided via email with clear instructions. No breakfast offered at this site. We were just passing through and did not do any activities at this site, but a quick pass-through showed it was a college town with limited entertainment offerings. We visited Glamis Castle about 30 minutes away & House of Dun about 45-minutes away by car.

Lovely hotel, great spacious room with everything needed for a business trip - desk, mini kitchen and a few gadgets thrown in too! Very quiet and slept like a log. Good parking too and has an EV point if required. Kenny was very friendly and I’d defo go back!

My wife and I loved the Clarendon. Kenny was a wonderful and gracious host, with many good suggestions on things to do and see while in Dundee. The property was wonderful -- spacious, clean, well appointed, and conveniently located. Easy walking distance to Dundee city center, with bars/restaurants/etc., all along the route. Plus, a bus stop right outside the property. A great place to stay, and when next in Dundee, we would book the Clarendon again in a heartbeat!

Great welcome from the owner, very informative and welcoming. The room was spotless and lots of attention to detail, great coffee and tea facilities. Walking distance to main road where restaurants are and parked in front of hotel. Great value for money would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner, Kenny, helped us with our luggage and to settle into our VERY large, very comfortable room. The room had a kitchenette, with plates, utensils, pots, a kettle and coffee supplies! The room was easily controlled by Alexa and other electronic gadgets. I picked this hotel because of past reviews and ease of parking. First off, finding parking was easy & the room was absolutely stunning. Grandiose gorgeous ceiling, cool & quirky style that we loved. The addition of some smart features was actually very nice (we were a little circumspect at first) - the self closing curtains were very cool and we had a lovely meal nearby, so location was great. The bed was super comfy, the shower / toilet area was spotless with great shower pressure and plenty of hot water. There was a lovely dining area by a beautiful bay window and a well appointed kitchenette. We both had a great nights rest and Kenny who greeted us on check in was really nice, attentive and friendly. Top notch! Will definitely stay here again when next in town.

The room we stayed in was the Lionel. It had a king bed and a view of the river. The room was very large and well equipped with a kitchenette. It was an easy walk to downtown for dinner and breakfast. The host was friendly and accommodating . We were very pleased with our stay .

The Clarendon was great! The rooms are very spacious and clean (and there are treats in the room!). It’s in a good location to walk for food, shopping, sightseeing. You have a code for the doors so you don’t need to worry about a key, Kenny checks in via email/text to make sure you’re all good and settled. I’d stay here again without question.

I love coming to the Clarendon because the rooms are big and bright, excellent level of decoration with a touch of quirkiness that makes me smile. The room is amazingly self contained and set up to respond to your every need. The manager, Kenny, is friendly, welcoming and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant that was superb. This isn’t my first visit to the Clarendon and it won’t be my last.

The owner, Kenny, helped us with our luggage and to settle into our VERY large, very comfortable room. The room had a kitchenette, with plates, utensils, pots, a kettle and coffee supplies! The room was easily controlled by Alexa and other electronic gadgets. I picked this hotel because of past reviews and ease of parking. It was within a few minutes drive of downtown Dundee, which is very busy and parking is almost non-existent. We loved our 2 day stay at the hotel and would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

This is my third stay and I adore this hotel,it’s a great place to explore from,near the river walkways and the city centre all in walking distance. Plenty if restaurants/vars nearby. I base myself here then travel to st Andrew’s etc.which is a 25 min bus ride. I love the tech,especially Alexa you can ask anything it’s brilliant. Kenny and his team are brilliant, I like the self service check in and am happy with the technology but you don’t have to use it. The welcome gift of Dundee cake and milk and teabags:coffee wonderful. I might just move in but don’t tell them fantastic place 5*+

The Clarendon is a very pleasant property in Dundee. Close to everything & within walking distance of restaurants. Our room was a good size with a good shower. A big plus was the kitchenette with hob, fridge, & microwave.

Beautiful room with sea views, easy and free parking and walkable into the city centre. The staff were really helpful, we accidentally left an item in the room and they quickly sent this back to us when we returned home.

My wife and I loved the Clarendon. Kenny was a wonderful and gracious host, with many good suggestions on things to do and see while in Dundee. The property was wonderful -- spacious, clean, well appointed, and conveniently located. Easy walking distance to Dundee city center, with bars/restaurants/etc., all along the route. Plus, a bus stop right outside the property. A great place to stay, and when next in Dundee, we would book the Clarendon again in a heartbeat!

The Clarendon was great! The rooms are very spacious and clean (and there are treats in the room!). It’s in a good location to walk for food, shopping, sightseeing. You have a code for the doors so you don’t need to worry about a key, Kenny checks in via email/text to make sure you’re all good and settled. I’d stay here again without question.

First off, finding parking was easy & the room was absolutely stunning. Grandiose gorgeous ceiling, cool & quirky style that we loved. The addition of some smart features was actually very nice (we were a little circumspect at first) - the self closing curtains were very cool and we had a lovely meal nearby, so location was great. The bed was super comfy, the shower / toilet area was spotless with great shower pressure and plenty of hot water. There was a lovely dining area by a beautiful bay window and a well appointed kitchenette. We both had a great nights rest and Kenny who greeted us on check in was really nice, attentive and friendly. Top notch! Will definitely stay here again when next in town.

This little hotel was a major surprise. It certainly exceeded my expectations. Beautiful touches everywhere, from yummy welcome cake and fresh milk to lovely towels to Alexa opening /closing curtains to the amazing owner to the delicious little restaurant within 5 min walk to a quirky decor to a beautiful river view. My husband & I stayed in the Darling suite, and we both felt like the accommodations were luxurious! In comparison to the other hotels/B&Bs we stayed at in our 2 weeks in Scotland, this room was double or triple in size! We parked for free on the street just in front of the hotel. The decor was modern and whimsically stylish, and the room was spotless. The king-sized bed was the most comfy of all the others at other establishments. We ordered pizza from a local delivery place and were pleasantly surprised with the service. We were also thrilled that this facility had free laundry machines on site. Check-in & out info was provided via email with clear instructions. No breakfast offered at this site. We were just passing through and did not do any activities at this site, but a quick pass-through showed it was a college town with limited entertainment offerings. We visited Glamis Castle about 30 minutes away & House of Dun about 45-minutes away by car.

What a beautiful property! The owners of this property have kept all the character of this old building when modernising it. It is beautifully decorated and has an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. We stayed in the Freddie room upstairs for two nights and have to say that whilst we were there we did not hear anything during the day or night! (Lovely to see thought has been put into where things go in a room i.e. sockets near mirrors for hairdryers/curlers etc.) Had a great little kitchen area with little hob, fridge, microwave, sink, etc, great for fixing up a little breakfast or meal for yourself. Tea and coffee tray and fresh milk in the fridge. Eating places for breakfast and dinner are within 5 mins walking distance and there is a bus stop right outside the building for a short journey into Dundee city centre which we used without any bother. Main road very busy so recommend using side streets to park. If I have need to stay in Dundee again this will definatley be my first choice of accommodation. A place with character, tastefully decorated, spotless, technology enabled and totally 'a la mode' Loved it!
