It’s a beautiful hotel, well appointed. Valet service only when you arrive. Our room was updated and clean. Sheets were soft and pillows- comfortable mattress. The restaurant was lovely to eat at with partial views of the waterfall. The hotel is within walking distance to other shops and restaurants and there are walkable trails by the waterfall. I’m only gripe is there was no pool because the weather was great and it would have been relaxing to sit by.

The property was beautiful - a gorgeous hotel with a river view - it was on the river right by a small falls - the park was great to walk through - very tranquil - hoping they build up the neighborhood around it for more shopping and dining options - the hotel bar was great too.

My visit .. fantastic! The eve I arrived .. they had an art gallery showing. So beautiful and well attended. The lobby is gorgeous.. overlooks the falls .. a gorgeous 4 sided open stone fireplace with seating .. so warm and inviting. A beautiful bar and piano being played that eve. There was no reason to leave this beautiful hotel. The restaurant is beautiful with delicious food .. make a reservation or you won’t get in.

Very beautiful location. Great for runners and fitness enthusiasts like me. Very walkable. There is NO pool and even though there is another Marriott property close we were not allowed to use their pool. Parking is strictly valet and even taking your luggage up is by bell hoops only The staff did give my daughter lovely chocolates and a note celebrating her 17th Birthday. 🎉

Perched above the middle of Reedy Falls, the Bohemian is surrounded by the sound of rushing water. Just off Main Street, it is in the middle of all the best restaurants and shops. Convenient to everything. It was so unusual to see guests at a hotel walking around the lobby and other public spaces in wonderment taking photos. The interior decor is like no other hotel's. If ambience is an important criteria for choosing a property, you won't find a more unique or beautiful option. The front desk staff were probably the nicest of any hotel we've ever stayed at. My only negative experience with staff were with the valets. I thought they were aggressive to the point of being pushy. If you want to unload or park your own car, you'll need to stand your ground.

We really loved the property as it was gorgeous! The food at Between the Trees was top notch. Our room had an incredible view of the waterfalls and the staff was very accommodating. Our biggest suggestion for improvement is to expand the SPA into a full spa with hot tub, steam room as for the type of hotel that it is the spa is way too small and does not have any other features except the treatments which are expensive if you do not add other features that would be expected for a 5 star hotel. We think that it would add revenue as one could charge more with an expanded spa and it is nice as a guest can make an afternoon out of it rather than an hour. Overall a great experience, would just like expansion of the spa to a full scale spa.

The hotel was nice, a lot of walking traffic in from the street almost not enough seating areas for a big crowd. It was clean, the beds, pillows, sheets and blankets were just OK. I was hoping they would be more plush and comfortable. The mattresses were firm. The pillows were average. The walls are very thin. We had a family with a baby next to us who cried all night, and we could hear them very clearly all night. Our view was pretty, nice big windows. Restaurant is pretty and good food. Lobby feels commercial, I was hoping for a more cozy feel.

The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are just average for the price point. The biggest issue is housekeeping. We hung a sign on our door for service everyday at 10am. One day we only had our bed made and our trash taken out. They left us with no toilet paper, coffee or facial tissues. The next day our sign was completely ignored and not our room was not serviced at all. When we returned around 3pm we were made to wait 1 hour until the room was serviced. Very inconvenient as we had plans for dinner at 6pm and wanted to rest up and shower before our reservations. Nice hotel, just not sure they have worked out all the kinks yet. I do have to mention that the front desk staff were all very pleasant and went out of their way to try and accommodate us, especially Kwame and one of the managers, her name began with an S, but I cannot remember her full name.

Checked in late and left early due to a busy trip. Great downtown spot with lots to do. Polite and helpful staff and super unique building in a vibrant area. Room was plenty spacious for family of 3. The only small complaint is the pet-friendliness. The elevator stunk like wet dogs.

The surrounding area is beautiful to walk. You are right on the river and the river walk is landscaped with beautiful blooming plants everywhere. There are shops and excellent restaurants within easy walking. The only criticism is that the first night, we were asked if we needed anything in the room, but the entire next day/night no one came and the coffee supply was not restocked nor wet towels picked up or garbage emptied. That seemed strange for a hotel of this caliber. The artwork and Indian artifacts were museum quality. The decor was outstanding both inside and out. The Between The Trees restaurant in the hotel was excellent. This hotel is pricey, but worth the experience.

Overall, my experience was a mix of highs and lows. Pros: Stunning Interiors: The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The details on the inside and the art on display are very grand and visually appealing. Excellent Valet Service: The valet team was top-notch, providing prompt and courteous service throughout my stay. Amazing Bathroom: The bathroom in my room was a highlight, offering a luxurious and relaxing experience. Cons: Check-In Issues: My problems began at check-in when they claimed there was an issue with my credit card, despite me seeing a charge from them in real-time. Loved the hotel. It is beautiful and perfectly nestled in downtown Greenville. The restaurant, Between the Trees was AMAZING! My main complaint, which is pretty big was our view from our room. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and I requested a city view (which was a choice that was offered to me.) Our Room had two windows. One looked out over a roof with air handler units and the other one looked out over the back of the restaurant kitchen where the staff goes for breaks and hang out. I was SO disappointed. We literally had NO view. At $650+ per night, I expected more. We will go back to eat at the restaurant and take in the scenery around the property, but will likely never stay overnight there again. It’s not worth the money.

While the property is beautiful our hotel room was extremely hot. Our first night the thermostat was not working properly. We notified the front desk who said they would check on it. When we returned from lunch the next day it was still overwhelmingly hot. We left for dinner and notified front desk again. Returned from dinner and STILL HOT. Staff sent someone again - one part of the room registered 78 another part registered 70. He was unsure what the issue was. Needless to say we spent another night hot! Spoke with Marcus at the front desk at check out - explained that the room temp had not been fixed and maybe they need to have it checked again before renting. So while the hotel and grounds are fabulous we probably would choose to stay elsewhere the next time.

The Grand Bohemian is a beautiful property and the staff are very helpful. Just be careful if you get a room with a balcony view, they may try to give you a room over the concrete roof from the lobby below. We asked to be changed and they did that for us. I'm not sure why the architect designed the hotel so that 3 rooms on floors 2 and3 would overlook an ugly rooftop instead of the waterfalls.

Literally one of the best stays of my life. The hotel is breathtaking our room quite lovely and the view was amazing. The staff were overly nice and accommodating. It is within walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

The check in was terrible. Everyone was very nice but we arrived at 1 and asked for an early check in if possible. We were told several times it should not be long. Multiple people were checked in ahead of us. We left several times and came back still no room. At 4:15 after 4pm normal check in we were told they were cleaning our room at that moment. Still never got in our room. Finally at 6pm we got in our room. I understand it was busy but staff downstairs cleaning when they could be upstairs helping. Be honest with people and say it will be 6pm. I would rather hear the truth than waiting all day to check in. I would have rather been able to just canceled and gone to another hotel. I travel a lot and have never left a bad review but this was a horrible experience with a very expensive hotel that was not worth it! Be honest with people! Then I would know what to expect!

We arrived for check-in at 4p, valeted the car, unloaded our suitcases, and then the front desk informed us that they’d oversold the hotel and needed to move us to a different one. After 40 minutes of speaking to managers, they finally gave us a room but it was not the king room with a view that we’d originally paid for. The front desk treated us as if we’d done something wrong but we booked and paid for our room months in advance.

The hotel is very stylish and the views are amazing. Service was not so great. The woman at the check in desk seemed bothered that I wanted to check in. The hostess at the restaurant shoed us away because we wanted drinks and appetizers in a restaurant that was nearly empty even when we mentioned that we were guests at the hotel. She told us to go to the basement bar. This is my first time at a Grand Bohemian and may be my last. Our room was very clean, but little things turned me off. It's a fairly new property, but had scuff marks on the walls, dirty windows, and a light fixture was hanging off the ceiling in our bathroom. This place has great potential. They just need additional trained staff. I don't expect being catered to, but I do expect courteous reception.

Hotel is beautiful but we left for over 2 hours waiting for the room to be cleaned. We came back and it wasn’t. We waited another hour. Very frustrating. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful. I think the people spending three nights there would bave their rooms cleaned when the sign is on the door or it’s a waste of money. We were unable to rest waiting.

Beautiful new hotel overlooking the waterfall and bridge at Falls Park in downtown Greenville. Very nice, hotel, friendly staff. With the beautiful views of the waterfall and park, you forget you can walk right out of the front door onto Main Street in downtown Greenville which is filled with dining, shopping and vibrancy.

Water pressure in the shower was great. You can adjust the room temperature via a central system. Balconies are private and have a great view. Breakfast was delicious. Valet was quick and efficient. Everyone was polite and helpful. My only ding would be the overwhelming “perfume” smell all over the property. If you have asthma this can be a problem.

There is really nothing bad to say about this property. Gorgeous rooms and lobby. It is located in the perfect area for walking around downtown Greenville. Staff is so professional and nice. Only bad thing is the food at the on-site restaurant doesn't live up to the property. It is expensive and not very good. Definitely could be better.
