Astor Hotel Athens

Beautiful hotel in a great location in the city center. Our check in person, Yannis, was extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and locations of various sightseeing areas. The restaurant was located on the top floor of the hotel where we could go and have a drink in the evening and view the Acropolis at night. The views were spectacular!

Clean room

This hotel located in the center of Athens was wonderful. It is close to anything you’d want to try or shop or eat. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop breakfast area with a delicious breakfast buffet. Also at night they serve drinks up there and you have a spectacular view of the Acropolis. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Even at night, it was actually quiet, which was a bit of a surprise being in such a central area. We even had a balcony we could sit out on. I would definitely go back to this hotel and visit it again.

The dining room is undergoing renovations and it can get noisy in the morning. Part of the dining area is closed off and it got a bit noisy during breakfast, and the elevator area was dusty and a bit dirty. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, the staff kind, friendly and very efficient, and the location is great.
