Motel 6-Seattle, WA - Airport

Is an average motel, but I was surprised to pay a parking 5$ per night ( I never imagine that)

The parking fee for cars is ridiculous.

Busy metro area, no breakfast offered- only coffee or tea, informed of required paid overnight parking at checkin.

Parking is third party. No shuttle to the airport. Please update to make this clear.

Good location. Clean and safe area. They should offer airport shuttle but don’t.

I usually book Motel 6 because they are decent and good priced and has parking. This time they charged me for parking, that is new and I would not use this particular motel 6 again. Parking is one of the main issues, when I choose a motel. Free parking should be available at every motel, case closed.

Typical Motel Six. Clean, quiet room. I was shocked when I was charged $5.00 extra to park my rental car. What will they think of next? Reminiscent of when they used to charge extra for wifi. It might help the bottom line, but it’s terrible for their public image.

Showers had almost no pressure, you have to pay for parking even though you are paying for the room

There are 3 motel 6 around SeaTac. Only one of them has a shuttle service and it’s not this one. For the extra cab fares to and from the airport we could have stayed in a much nicer place that had shuttle service. So be sure to check that if you doing a quick layover

Very clean, cute design, responsive staff. The non smoking room reeked of smoke, there were cigarette burns on the bathtub and other furniture. The mattress had holes.

Clean room, friendly staff

Everything was very clean. Even though they offer smoking room, the Non-smoking rooms don’t smell like smoke at all which doesn’t always happen when a motel offers smoking rooms.

The room was worn out; the bed had a hole in the mattress that prevented us from sleeping. There were lamps that didn't work. There was poor water pressure in the shower. Finally, they didn't clean the room during the three nights we stayed there.

Regrettable motel choice. Water damaged ceiling, clogged drains, no extra pillows/blankets and our traveling companions found bed bugs. Yikes! Will never stay in a motel 6 again.

The room was clean and was stocked with towels.

Good location, right next to the airport, 15min drive to Mariners stadium. The motel was clean, good bed, pillows and ac. I have stayed in some rooms that cost $200+ a night that were filthy, the price here is perfect for what you get. No frills, clean rooms and friendly staff.

I always stay at this motel when traveling through Seattle. This time I got in late and just wanted a bed. Check in no problem. Got to room got undressed and got ready to get a shower. First thing I noticed was the black hair in the tub. Then what appeared to be blood on the side of the tub. By this time the water was running for a few minutes and I noticed it wasn’t drawing. I decided to give up and try again in the morning. As I turned to exit i noticed what appeared to be smeared poop and blood on the wall.

The rooms are very clean and the property was also. Very nice Motel, especially for the cost.

Room was riddled with bedbugs. Quite dirty under, behind and around bed with signs that this is not a very recent infestation. On duty front desk clerk moved us, but my kids aren’t sleeping

I wish it offered a little more. We had no comforter, no shampoo, no Kleenex, a tv with only a few channels, and no fridge, or microwave, and we had to pay for parking even if we had to already pay for the room.

Too noisy all night long. Sound of cars on freeway was loud, it felt that our windows were open.

Most things were fine. The heat/AC unit was hardwired for only AC with no digital readout and constantly on, so it was fine for the hot day. When it cooled down at night, I had to unplug it. I’ll take that over a lack of cleanliness and weird smells that I experienced in some other SeaTac hotels any day.

Too much noice I was downstairs and it was too much noice from the people upstairs

Very comfy bed. Room was very clean, although a thorough renovation is long overdue. The building is very old and has not been properly maintained. It shows. No bugs. Quiet, easy access to everything. Close to airport. Great parking .Biggest problem I encountered was the heat/cool thermostat. They’ve taken over control of the individual room unita with a centralized thermostat, so if temp in room goes below 65 they kick the heat on. I’m asthmatic and have to sleep in a very cool room. It was a struggle .

Standard Motel 6. Good location, but no shuttle to and from SeaTac. The beds need replacing. The mattresses are so old they dip and sink. Even adding foam toppers would be helpful.

Noisy ans close to a main road and our ground floor room got a lot of lights from the cars getting parked overnight.

Its an old hotel the tv works sometimes the shower water isnt hot only early in the morning

THE GOOD: The room was fairly clean and had all the modern amenities one would expect in this, the year 1973. The sheets and towels were clean, and the thermostat worked well (mercifully). Taylor at the front desk was quite pleasant under what I considered difficult circumstances, but it's doubtful that she's received much customer service training. She did notice that I was booked in a smoking room, and moved me to a non-smoking and I didn't even have to ask. She was genuine and was clearly making an effort. THE BAD: Inside the room, the curtains and door frame let in plenty of light. Street noise was pretty bad. All four of the paper cups provided leaked. The ice machine (locked in the laundry/vending room at ground level) dispensed exactly two small ice cubes, then surrendered. THE UGLY: Without hyperbole: located in an absolutely terrifying neighbourhood. OVERALL: I'm grateful I only had to spend 6 hours here. And while it's close to the airport, I wish I'd noticed that there were better hotels for the same price closer to SeaTac.

Worst experience I've ever had in my life at age 60. People drinking and extra loud. They backed their car in, opened the trunk with speakers. Called the front desk 3 times to do something about it. Noise never stopped. We left at 3 am for a international flight. As we were leaving heard some of party people saying they were headed home because they needed to be back to work. Maybe employees using room for party not sure. Avoid at all cost. Not worth trying to save a few dollars.

No breakfast. The “deli” was just some vending machines. And one whole wall in the room didn’t have power. Which meant we couldn’t plug it the cpap machines. When we realized that the couldn’t sleep in the room we paid for, I tried to call the “24 hours” front desk. Because I am mobility impaired I wanted to avoid having to walk to the office. But after an hour of calling repeatedly I had no choice but to leave the room and see if anyone was in the office. Turns out the front desk is not accessible after 9 pm except through a security window like at a gas station…. So I had to - with great effort- stand outside in the cold and try to get some help with the non-functional outlets. I was given the last room on the ground floor. NOT an ADA room, but at least the electrical outlets worked. The new room was (for me) a long walk, around the backside of the building. FAR away from parking. So the shuffle between rooms was arduous. The new room was WITHOUT the microwave we needed to cook our sausage breakfast bowls. There was also a small puddle at the base of the toilet where the seal was leaking. And no plug in the tub so I couldn’t safely wash myself as the non-ADA shower was unsafe for me to stand in. On top of all that, we had a person in the room right above us walking around and scraping a chair across the room, which was very disturbing when trying to finally get some sleep. This is the first and last time I will stay at a Motel 6.

Bad start when I’m talking to the guy to check in and mid sentence he just answers the phone and ignores me

No frills but was clean & comfy. Front desk Antonio & the girl that checked us in super late(because our flight was delayed) sorry I forgot her name were amazing!!

The room itself was clean/fine but the check in person was downright hostile when I checked in and rudely demanded the IDs of every single person staying in the room, which is something I've never been asked to do before. He was quite rude about it, as if I was the moron for not expecting that I would be asked to do this and answered every one of my questions as if I was taking food out of his mouth for asking them. We hadn't intended to stay the entire night - our fight left at 5am, so we were leaving at around 2am to sort out returning the rental car and getting a shuttle to the airport, so I did need to ask him questions about early checkout and how to handle the parking lot fee. People were up at all hours of the night and day in the parking lot, kind of just... loitering around the cars, so I'm not sure what I was paying for to park here, since there's clearly no security. the room itself was clean and recently refreshed, so once inside, no problems there.

The check in night person was so helpful, professional and very accommodating.the day staff. Followed up an issue and were able to solve. It. Very impressive.

Walking distance to and from the airport.

Check-in and check-out were easy and the hotel receptionist was pleasant, efficient, and friendly. The only drawback was an incident with the police and an individual, who kept cursing at the policemen from the sidewalk.

Unsafe. People acting bad nearby and around parking lot. Overheard a fight outside.

This is in the absolute worst neighborhood. Basically the downtown east side. When we arrived we saw 2 fellows openly smoking a crack pipe in broad daylight. A passerby warned us not to walk anywhere near the propperty at night as its extremely unsafe. Our room's door didnt close proprerly, the bed had a stained sheet (no comforter, just a stained sheet) and unknown fluid stains on the walls and floors. I would not stay here again if it was free. Delighted we made it through the night unharmed and our car had all its windows intact when we checked out at 7am. Stay elsewhere. Anywhere else.

Walkable to light rail, and airport. Great prices, very clean. Beds were comfy, but the towels were a little rough.

This is just a place to sleep, nothing more. Bed quite soft and comfortable, clean linen. Bathroom facilities not fantastic, some cracks in the walls. No fridge or microwave in room, coffee in reception awful, but luckily there is a great coffee place next door.

The staff were fantastic and very friendly. The room was nice and the location is pretty good as you can walk to either the international or the airport light rail. The only thing holding my stay back from being 5 stars was the bathroom in our room. It had hair on the floor and behind the door it looked like it had not been vacuumed in a while. I would definitely stay here again but please step up cleaning in the bathroom.

Convenient location near the airport, grocery store, and many fast food. Had a full sized bed for myself. My room didn't have a mini fridge or a microwave, but did have a TV with simple cable channels on it. The bed was comfortable but the bedding was very thin. The room itself was very clean but they rushed to get it ready for me, so I had to ask for soap in the restroom (they forgot it). The walls are very thin to the outside, so I was awoken a few times at night when people were getting a bit rowdy. I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The area felt safe and is in a convenient location for a night or two of rest. There is a very good coffee shop next door and a gas station down the street. Staff was very nice and accommodating even when they were busy during check in time.

Fairly inexpensive but you also have to pay for parking. No amenities. No stores nearby. No transit close by. Staff is polite.

The Hotel wasn't the Taj Mahal but neither was the price and it was CLEAN and close to a Denny's Restaurant nearby so we went there for Breakfast

This property is the cheapest found within the downtown area. It's located near the airport, so somewhat off the beaten path. Its an older establishment and does not offer a breakfast. The rooms are large, updated, clean and staff are friendly.
