Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle North-Lynnwood Everett

We probably would not stay here again. The property seemed to be converted from an apartment complex to a hotel. Parking is not great. Our suite was okay. You don't get that hotel feel stay at this place. The pool is outside, so it was closed down until summer time. The only plus is that the Mall was close by, along with several other stores and places to eat!

Although the property was old, it was maintained well and very clean. The staff were very well informed and provided excellent customer service. It was a little irritating to have to pay $12 a night to park.

We liked it a lot, but were surprised that we got a bill for the parking

I was charged for parking, though the staff never discussed that charge with me. I live in the area and did not consider that location warranted a parking charge.

The gym was closed and the property was under repair unfortunately. Also parking was limited.

If you rolled the parking fee into the whole price it would be fine.

The Property charged me $12 for parking, which was not disclosed by Expedia. They also advertise a 2pm check in on Expedia that is actually 4pm

Swimming pool is dirty

We booked this hotel mainly because it stated there was EV charging on site. There was NO EV charging on site. Had to spend an hour in the Target parking lot the next morning before heading home instead. This is false advertising.

Great location, the people were wonderful, very clean. However, there was some sort of brown water coming out of the tub faucet, they tried to figure it out and could not locate the source. It's hard default them for that, but it was there

We booked this hotel because its has good reviews but our expenses was really bad. Room wasn't clean properly and smell like they never opened it. We oped sofa-bed it was really filthy all covered with hair and dirty tissue paper. Smell was so bad that have me really bad headache. We paid so much money but not worth it. I have no idea why they have best reviews

Carpets are sticky, they need to clean them.

The staff at the front desk is super helpful and friendly! Unfortunately, the rooms are tired. The carpet was pretty filthy. The pull-out sofa's "mattress" was thin, worn, and very uncomfortable.

Room 922 smells so bad

Property in need of renovation. Peeling paint, floor stains, Multiple holes in curtains, broken screens, nonworking, remotes, and TV ( staff fixed TV) slow drains, filthy carpets

Room 122 needed some cleaning. It smelled like curry when I walked into the room. There was no screen in the room downstairs. I had lipstick or marker on the lamp in the bedroom downstairs. I also had mold in the bathroom downstairs. Carpet was torn between the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Toothpaste on the wall of the downstairs bathroom.

Everything was really fabulous except when the people would walk around upstairs in the loft. The floor would crack and creak horribly Very disruptive for the people downstairs trying to sleep. Also, rooms are situated so you can't have a full view of the outside. You are looking STRAIGHT into your neighbors room.

The layout of this place was really neat! Like they bought an apartment complex and turned it into a hotel so each room is like it's own studio or 2 bed apt!

Stayed 2 nights and it was a great stay. The sofa bed matress need to be replaced they are way to thin.

Room was large and comfortable

The hotel and the room were very nice. I appreciated the breakfast in the morning. However, there was a lot of noise coming from the people staying above our room and the footsteps and various sounds continued throughout the entire night. I got very little sleep and was not at my best today at work because of it. I was awakened at least once an hour from midnight until 6 am when I got up. It was not acceptable.

Our room was clean and spacious. I loved it. I only wish there more light in the room. and the set up is strange because if someone gets up early and the other person is in bed, there’s no door between the bathroom area and the bed. You can’t block the light from the person still sleeping.

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite. Loved the layout. Proximity to restaurants and highway great.

I did not want to leave anything in the closet closed, as I did not want the smell to trap onto any of our clothing even more. The bed comfort was more on the softer side, as were the pillows. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable, my 15 yo had back pain the next day. The staff is super friendly and the location is great for Alderwood Mall and is surrounding restaurants, movie theatre and Dave & Busters within walking distance. Just don’t think we can take a chance staying here again.

Unresponsive staff

I was very happy I was able to get early check in! They were so sweet and found a room ready for me! Very appreciative

I’ve only stayed at this hotel one other time and that time was an okay experience. This time was pretty terrible though. Aside from the sudden surprise parking fee every night which someone at the front desk tried to explain away by telling me other places parking fees cost more, they also randomly charged my card a day after I checked in. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they said it must be a preauthorization. How does that make sense? The incidentals fee I paid was more than enough to cover the surprise parking charges. What were you preauthorizing and charging me for since parking was already covered? When I mentioned this he told me to call my credit card company. Such a typical thing to say. The people I should be calling is the billing department for the hotel, since they billed my card, how would my credit card company know anything? I could also tell the girl at the desk standing beside the guy I was talking to wanted to tell me off. It’s pretty ridiculous that you guys charge me, pawn it off on someone else, and then one of you is agitated with me. As if you wouldn’t be irritated in this situation? All four front desk staff I met here during my stay were unprofessional at best.

This hotel was disappointing to say the least. Definitely needs renovation. The location was very good but the room smelled and had ants problems. Staff was not friendly either. Such a shame when I thought I could trust Marriott standard. Will not be staying here again.

Loft two bedroom was great, good size and clean. Front desk staff member named Carmen was incredibly rude and demeaning. Rented a room for 4 adults and an infant (even had a crib) and was told we were not allowed to “party”. First question after I told her I was there to check in was “what brings you here?” That immediately followed with a long interrogation of what we were exactly doing in the room. She was rude to my husband and my brother in law who also went to the front desk later to ask about the WiFi. Ended up crying after her treatment of us before going into our room. We won’t be back

Location is good, it is close to highway and shopping area, but not too close.

It’s near by the mall and everything is convenient. The place is clean and parking is easy. I’m going to stay here again if I’ll have a chance

Nice, spacious suite for relaxation. It felt like a home away from home with most of the amenities provided by the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was dated, but more than adequate. The breakfast was good, though a bit of variety would help, especially for those who stay more than one or two days.

This property has seen better days. Exterior disrepair was obvious. Pay parking, this is not Seattle with limited space, never paid for parking at this property before, seems greedy of Marriot especially with the reduced services. No managers reception. Breakfast unhealthy and what breakfast there was scant, a few carrot pieces, two yoghurts, no chocolate milk, no Nutella, 2 table spoon blueberries, plenty of sugar cereal, sugar juice cocktails.

Likes: The updates. Comfy bed with crisp linens. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, theaters. Hot breakfast included. Dislikes: Clean however our room needed deodorizers to mask cooking ? odors. Parking fee!!!!

No fireplace supposed to have one. Coffee was old.

Very pleased with the 2 bed/2bath, full kitchen suite that i booked for my family. The staff, cleaning services, breakfast, location, everything was just perfect 👌

Welcoming staff. Clean room. Breakfast buffet was lacking. Organized with out logical flow. Many items were “out”. Seemed only one staff member was working the entire breakfast area. Felt sorry for that employee.
