This hotel is absolutely amazing! We had a really rough start to the day with our flight being canceled and the hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. The beds are so comfortable (best night sleep we had the whole trip), along with plenty of storage. The food and service at their restaurant was outstanding. Definitely get the breakfast, it is a gourmet buffet. They partner with a gym that is just down the block that is fully equipped. They also allowed us to store our luggage so we could look around the area while we waited for our flight that was in the evening. Such a kind staff and I wish we would have found this place sooner for our entire stay.

Our family of six stayed at Sudima Queenstown for five nights, and from check-in to check-out, the experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel at home—including a thoughtful surprise on my birthday, which truly made the stay even more special. The morning breakfasts were delicious, parking was effortless, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The overall ambience of the hotel is relaxing and beautifully maintained. My family also made great use of the gym facilities and couldn’t speak more highly of them. Sudima has become our go-to place to stay whenever we visit Queenstown. The views from the hotel are some of the best we've seen, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Finding parking was a bit of a mission, once we realised to park around the back, there was plenty of parking and really handy to a lot of shops within walking distance of the Hotel

Remember, there are limited hotel parking but unlimited free shopping mall parking around the hotel. Hotel should do key card access in lift but unfortunately it’s open for all, which is bit a safety issue, otherwise all good

Interesting place. We liked it. Close to few amenities and supermarket, not crazy like Queenstown CBD. Rooms don't have microwave or cutlery, or stove, which are key for a family like we are. Probably would stay elsewhere just due to that next time, but otherwise is nice and newish. Just make sure you tell them to clean the room - ours was never cleaned for our stay of 2 nights (they came at 5 pm when we were back so a no go obviously).

The room was very small. The beds were soft and seemed older than they should be. Cheap linens and pillows. No rubbish bin in room and the only one, in the bathroom, wasn’t emptied. The bathroom did not have a fan nor a toilet brush. The toilet seat was too small for the base. The shower was an open stall so the floor got wet half the time. Reception was nice and friendly but for the money, go elsewhere.

Modern, well-appointed hotel in convenient location. Suitable for business or airport stay, but would not recommend for vacation as rooms are not equipped for a long stay. For example, no microwave, cutlery or wine glasses in room so dining out is the only option. Also, the rooms have no opening windows and we really struggled without fresh air for three nights.

Great location, even though near airport. Great having convenience of all the major shops and places to eat. Downside is the rooms on level 1, share with function rooms and restaurant/bar. Limited TV channels also disappointing, as would have loved to have watched international sporting event.

The property itself was amazing, great location with plenty of options for shopping and food (including the restaurant in the hotel), staff were also very helpful. The room was also great with everything I needed. The only thing I could fault it on is the unnecessary door to the next room, it's locked but it is anything but sound-proof and I could hear every movement of my neighbor and every word they said, my overall rating would be 5 stars if it weren't for this door.

The hotel is modern and well maintained. It is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at in NZ. The only thing we didn’t like was that our room lacked fresh air as it had no windows. We all had nose bleeds by the end of our stay, felt similar to being on a long haul flight with recycled air.

The front desk has been super helpful. They accommodated for my early arrival by having the room ready. When my daughter became unwell due to food positing, not from the hotel food, they helped me to book & stay an extra night.

We weren’t told that our breakfast included made to order eggs - and when we did order they took a very long time. Our room wasn’t quite ready at 1.30pm but when we went back that evening the keys hadn’t been coded or anything. Most staff seeed disinterested though the night staff were quick to help.

Staff were excellent. My daughter has food poisoning outside of the hotel. I had to stay an extra night, which I booked through Expedia. The staff were helpful to make sure my daughter recovered quickly and she was not disturbed. Lots of sleep.

The team at sudima were fantastic. My child got sick during the trip and they were very accommodating in supporting us. Bonus was they were so inclusive of diwali and the indian culture thet they had sweets and other indian inspired deserts available during the festive season . Thank you for a wonderful experience

Good location close to facilities and services Very limited menu if wanting to order room service after 9pm. Even fries are not available. Seasonal e vegetable soup turned out to be Thai inspired pumpkin soup but was extra spicy. We were reim ursed for this, however ended up with just toast to eat.

Located in Frankton, Sudima was convenient for us as we flew home the following day. There were some shops nearby and a few eateries but we chose to drive into Queenstown for dinner. The hotel was quite new; the rooms and public areas are comfortable and in good condition, the staff are helpful. Breakfast was average in quality, with definite room for improvement. Fresh juice self serve machine was a big plus. Overall, we were happy with the experience.Despite being near the airport, we heard no noise.
