The Wyndham Garden Remarkables Park is a new, clean property with a small cafe adjacent/attached and available for breakfast and lunch. The twin beds are extra slim but normal length. The room has a stove, microwave, and mini-fridge, plus clothes washer and dryer in the bathroom. It is very close to the Queenstown Airport and is a great choice for an early flight.

This is a brand new hotel that is in a tourist town and failed to include enough parking places to accommodate the number of hotel guests. We arrived at 10:15 pm and front desk was closed for night. Key was in a lockbox and found out in morming that I had illegally parked in a parking spot owned by a neighbor. Overflow parking is in a pay for parking lot several hundred yards away from hotel.

This is a great option for families! The washer/dryer plus a full kitchen is amazing! You are bu the bus stop to town, across the street from the movies and grocery store. They also have the best bakery downstairs! I would come back again!

Had a great stay at Wyndham Garden in Queenstown. I booked an accessible (PMR) room and it had everything I needed — super comfy, clean, and easy to move around in. The whole place is very well set up for anyone with mobility needs. I arrived late at night and the lockbox system worked perfectly. The instructions were clear, and I got into the room without any issues. Also, the staff were friendly and helpful when I needed something. Parking is free if you find a spot, but there’s also a cheap car park like a minute away, so no stress. The location is great too, right near the airport and close to shops and restaurants. Totally recommend it — especially if you’re arriving late or need an accessible room. Would definitely stay again!

Good value and nothing to complain at all. Very new hotel and clean. The location is convenient and near to airport and nearby shopping mall with super market n restaurants. Should definite come back in my next visit. The only drawback is limited car park. We had to park our car along the road outside the hotel which was dead end but got a fine ticket next morning.

Hôtel très bien situé. La chambre que j’avais était parfaitement bien équipée, cuisine mais aussi lave linge et sèche-linge. Propre à l'arrivée. Je regrette seulement que pendant mon séjour de 6 nuits, il n’y ait eu aucun service de ménage complet. Aucun nettoyage des sols, des sanitaires, lavabo et douche. Le service de nettoyage quotidien se limite au vidage des poubelles et recharger les cafés, thé etc… changement des serviettes une fois. J’ai dû réclamer pour recharger le distributeur de savon de la douche. Dommage pour le standing du lieu.

Hotel is clean, tastefully decorated and the studio room is spacious with the kitchenette well equipped. Good size & very clean bathroom with washing machine & dryer. I especially love the timber-look laminate/engineered flooring. Great location, bus stop to airport is just around the corner & the trip is just a10-minute/2-stop ride to the airport. Super convenient. Staff at reception are friendly professional & helpful when we needed some advice. Very happy with the late checkout as our flight was 3pm, giving us a couple of hours for morning walk to the beautiful Kawarau Falls reserve.

Room is horribly dirty. Every single wall has scuff marks all over and marks that could very easily be wiped off with damp cloth. All skirtings had dust build up. Shower was not clean - apart from the glass. Mildew build up. Bathroom fan was so loud, dusty and loose - was rattling and shaking when on. Decorative pillows have marks on them. Only things that were clean were the sheets and towels (thankfully, atleast)

Room was terrible. Walls scuffed up. Moldy bathroom. Saggy mattress. Thin exhausted pillows. Plus the entire hotel smells like a deep fat fryer. Front desk and cleaners were lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In our room, the air conditioning didn’t work well enough and it was too warm for us both during the day and overnight. The WiFi didn’t work in our room either and we were told they would have to have their technician fix it. We were there for 2 nights and neither the air conditioning nor the WiFi were fixed in that time. The front reception is only open until 8 pm so there is no one to help after that time. For a nice hotel like this, we expect reception would be open until 10 pm and that they would have someone to fix A/C and WiFi on the premises.

The room was clean and very new, no signs of any wear and tear. The bathroom was smaller than i expexted. There was an RXJ gurder in front of the window running from left to right at approx 45degrees. Could have done without that. Bed was comfortable. Having a heat pump was great. Overall the room was fine, just on the small side.

The problem with this place is it has zero window that you can open to get fresh air from outside so the room is always stuffy. The kitchen has minimal equipment to cook a proper meal. At most you can do is frying some eggs. There is no designated parking and free parking on the property is limited. There is free parking nearby but you may risk getting a ticket if you don’t move it by 6 am. It’s convenient if you want to hike around and 10-15 minutes drive to Queenstown.

I had to stay in Wyndham Remarkables for one night in a challenging circumstances. I arrived close to 23:00, but staff guided me through the process, it worked flawlessly. Hotel is very nice, convenient - I walked 0.9 miles from the airport and it was fine, easy to find, convenient breakfast option downstaits and even better at the sister property Ramada - Franks eatery. On a way bag I had to go through the mishap with my bags misplaced into the rental van, while I intended to leave it in the hotel, but staff once again handled everything very professionally, in exemplary fashion and with great courtesy and patience. Nice service, great people and place.

It was odd that reception was not staffed from 8PM to 8AM, but they had an excellent system to manage our arrival after 9PM and departure around 7AM, and they also stored our baggage until after our morning excursion. Overall we were very happy with it!

We ended up being in two different rooms and each of them had dirty, spotted carpets and furniture that was worn and damaged. The staff was helpful when they were present. Their hours did not include manning the desk after 8 pm or before 8 am. We returned to the hotel after 8 pm and found that our room keys had been disabled. We had to stand outside and contact someone offsite via the intercom…not a reassuring situation.

The reception made this an enjoyable experience. Changed rooms to have us on the same floor. Then when the changed room still had cleaning material in put my sister-in-law in a very good room as a bonus. Staff and reception provided a jumper lead and their own personal car to start mine. This was above the call of duty and deserves a special reward by management because that is the type of service that brings me back as I usually stay in 5-star hotels.

I marked average for communications we checked late unaware of any late check in procedures except a locked door an instruction sign at the front desk to call a phone number. It turns out I received an email to access my room key from an outside lock box. For Wyndham properties, I expected the hotel to be better overall compared to other Wyndham hotels I have stayed at. Everytime I called the front desk, no one answered. The bathroom ameneties and towels provided were poor quality. The AC was pointing in a completely different direction from the bedroom, so the bedroom was just not cooling down. Very limited breakfast option and expensive for the options they have - I would advise eating breakfast in Queenstown downtown rather than at the hotel. Very very limited parking - maybe like 12-15 spots for the entire hotel, which is not revealed in the hotel description unless you check-in. If you do not get a spot, you have to park in a Paid area for overnight parking which is free for only first 2 hours. No Laundry option that other hotels had while I stayed in NZ

I had to complete an online registration form a few days before arrival. On this registration form I had to specify the approximate arrival time. Having specified an arrival time that was later than the time that the front desk would be manned, I would have expected a communication from the hotel regarding after hours check-in. The information regarding the after hours check in was not sent to me until a couple of hours before arrival, by which time I was on board a flight, with my phone in flight mode, so did not receive the necessary information until I had arrived at the hotel, had to wait on the street while trying to communicate with an after hours number, for them to relay the information regarding access to a lock box, then gain access to the hotel and room, then remember to switch my phone out of flight mode. I would expect that if you want guests to complete online registration, communication regarding after hours check in, would be sent when that registration is completed.

Both Wyndham are very nice. This one closer to the bus station and cinema. The view from La Quinta much better. I liked the small cafė at Garden. Room has kitchen and washer/dryer. Very convenient and quiet location.

The room was advertised as a king bedroom but apparently New Zealand has a different definition of a King size bed. Close to the bus stop to Queenstown and a cafe down stairs make it a convenient place to stay.
