We had a number of issues with our stay: The toilet was like a waterfall. Non stop leaking, which was very noisy and impacted our sleep. We informed reception on the night of check in and they didn’t do anything about it during our two night stay (they literally left us on read…). We had booked the hotel because it said it had a washed/dryer. The dryer in our room didn’t work (combined washed/dryer and the heating element of dryer didn’t work) We only became aware on our second night when reception had left and had so much wet laundry… The room has a kitchenette - which is accurate. However, it didn’t have any dishwashing liquid, a sponge or even a tea towel.

I don’t know how this hotel has so many good reviews and high cleanliness rates. Our room was outdated, marks everywhere on carpet and walls - to the point they had taped corners up. It was not clean at all with marks on the bedsheets, mouldy shower and clogged drain, dishes were dirty. A lot was broken - microwave didn’t work, part of the shower broken, lamp broken, and bits of the washing machine. Service was extremely unfriendly at reception. Parking was the only perk but that’s what you get staying in a location so far from town. The heat pump was loud but didn’t work efficiently either. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and not worth the cost.

The first impressions may make you think twice as there is a strong smell of cooking oil from the adjacent restaurant- the staff are very helpful and the room was perfect for our one night stay. It was clean and a good size.
