Studio 6 Ontario CA Convention Center Airport

It's the cheapest place you can stay at before the CA bar exam without living in a box the day before. I think "Okay" 3/5 was a little too strong, it's about a 2/5. The staff is unhelpful, no breakfast or food, and mostly all the other people besides "bar-takers" are the guys you see in prison movies without the movie part.

I honestly don't think I can begin to explain how bad this stay was. For starters, I arrived to check in and found the front office locked with nobody there. I waited around 20–30 minutes and still couldn't find anyone. I eventually had to call the property myself, and only then did someone finally come and check me in. After getting to my room, things somehow got even worse. There was a used condom sitting in the walkway directly outside my door, and my neighbor had an entire bag of trash sitting outside theirs. What really blew my mind is that both of those things were still there when I checked out the next morning. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, yet the entire place smelled like cigarettes. The floor in the room felt weirdly greasy, the TV didn't work, and the towels smelled so strongly of mildew that I genuinely wondered if they had even been washed. The chairs in the kitchenette were damp and covered in strange stains, which made me not want to sit on them at all. To top it all off, starting around 6am, another guest spent at least 2–3 hours screaming at her significant other. I understand that's not necessarily the motel's fault, but after everything else, it was just the icing on the cake. I've stayed in plenty of budget hotels and motels before, so my expectations were realistic going into this. I wasn't expecting luxury. I was expecting a clean room, basic maintenance, and a reasonably comfortable stay. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
