The Moxy Athens is fantastic! The staff was exceptional across the board. The communal spaces are inviting and enhance the overall experience. The location (on the second largest square in Athens) is convenient. The rooms are brand new, clean and well designed (with the exception of a lack of storage space). It was a little far from the main historical sites, but it allowed us to get our steps in and see the full city. The staff was very friendly, and it was so nice to have a food/drink venue in the lobby. Room was clean and very spacious!

The staff was wonderful. The bar was phenomenal. The gym was ann experience. The area was amazing. The rooms were clean, but I did have issues with the AC, so maybe get some help. They did not have an iron in case you need one. The only con to the hotel would be the trash outside. It smells bad when you’re waiting for a car.

Very nice hotel, modern at all! I experienced quick check-in by a very friendly front desk staff. They even offered me free coffee! Cosy room, clean and spacious, a really comfortable one! Breakfast met my needs and at night, I would really like to enjoy a drink at the bar but it closed at 23.30. Overall, I have already booked my next stay at the hotel!!!

The property is lovely. Just a little too contemporary for my taste. The checking desk is one end of the bar counter. It makes for a congested space when multiple people checking in. Also, there is no grab and go breakfast option. It’s the full buffet or nothing.

Very nice hotel in a great location in Athens. The Monastiraki flea market is about a 10-15 minute walk down the street and there are a few big stores nearby. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Das Moxy ist ein hervorragendes Hotel. Wir waren 1 Woche dort und sind nach wie vor begeistert. Die Atmosphäre war trendig, modern und schön. Irgendwie war es lebendig, was wir sehr genossen. Das Einchecken war unkompliziert. Wir erhielten ein Willkommensdrink Vom Empfangspersonal, dem Servicepersonal über die Reinigungskräfte bis hin zum Sicherheitspersonal waren alle immer sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wurden wir mit einem Lächeln empfangen. Hilfe, auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung, war jederzeit da. Das Zimmer incl. Bad waren top, sehr sauber, geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Es lud durch seine Einrichtung und Atmosphäre zum Verweilen ein. Trotz der Lage war es sehr ruhig in den Zimmern. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Behauptungen, der Omonia-Platz sei zu meiden, sollte man nicht glauben. Wir waren in allen Stadtteilen zu Fuß unterwegs und hatten nie Probleme. Wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit sicher. Selbst am Tag des Generalstreiks war es am Omonia-Platz nicht unangenehm.. Das Frühstücksbuffett war reichhaltig, vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Für Jeden war was dabei. In der Nähe ist eine U-Bahn-Station. Busse sind ebenfalls leicht zu erreichen. Cafés und kleine Geschäfte befinden sich in der Nähe des Hotels. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie das Zentrum sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Moxy: Top, jederzeit gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Conveniently located near the metro station. Taxi’s and Ubers can easily find the hotel. Excellent and friendly staff during check in, check out and at breakfast time. Hotel is clean, room was clean and room was cleaned daily, no matter what time we left at. Air conditioning worked great. The only minor inconveniences can be the outside traffic noises, with cars honking and sirens blaring in the early morning. The only other minor inconvenience is there is no storage space for your clothes. No closet and no dresser drawers. We lived out of our 4 suitcases spread throughout the room for the 7 nights we were there.

Imagine trying to sleep in a room with a light that turns on and off randomly throughout the light. And not just randomly but frequently- like every 30 seconds. The rooms have an automatic light under the bed that goes off based on a motion sensor, which works ok when it works correctly but the room we had just went on and off for no reason continuously. The worst part was that the front desk told us they could not fix the problem nor change our room for the one night we were there before our flight. My wife ended up trying to sleep with a towel around her head and me with the blanket completely covering me.

Modernes Hotel im Herzen der Stadt. Gut ausgestattetes und großzügiges Zimmer mit schönem Badezimmer. Leider kein Schrank oder Regal für Kleidung. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Lage ist optimal um Athen zu Fuß zu erkunden! Wir werden wieder kommen!

My stay was fantastic. Way better than I expected. My room was totally peaceful, no noise at all (9 nights), very clean, and comfortable. The team they have is excellent, very helpful and attentive. We stayed two nights in Athens before our family reunion cruise. The hotel location is in center of Athens and just 10 minutes walk to the life style area of Plaka. Our room is clean and beds are good. However, the room has not enough lights and is too dark that you cannot do and find anything. I encountered an incident with a male receptionist at the last day morning when I want to take breakfast at the hotel lounge. He spoke in lengthly and flowery sentences and with in-appropriate vocabulary, that he told me I was not authorised to eat in their lounge because the computer did not carry my check-in record (after I stayed two nights!!!). Things were finally straightened. Overall, I wanted to praised the house keeping staff and also the customer services manager Joanna whom was very helpful on booking car transfers and managing my luggage.

I frequently stay at Bonvoy hotels, but I have never stayed at a Moxy. It was a last-minute booking and honestly I was looking for a good deal. I was incredibly surprised and pleased with the level of service and aesthetics. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the bar restaurant area was warm and inviting and I found my room clean, spacious and well designed. especially for the price. ( I did have an upgraded room with a view) I honestly cannot say enough about how incredibly helpful the entire team was during my stay. Five star customer service.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. The room service menu was too limited. I had mobility limitations and could not go out for dinner, ended up ordering something and have it delivered to the hotel. Staff was so nice and brought my dinner upstairs since I couldn’t walk far.

The most memorable experience was the staff who helping me to sort out my sky express check in and telling me that things would be all right. The staff everywhere, from the security guard outside the building, to the front desk, to the bell guy, to the bartenders were just outstanding. Made you feel welcome and are very helpful getting cabs and dinner reservations. Will definitely stay here again.

The staffs there are RUDE! THEY ARE ALL RUDE. asking for a cup of ice .. feels like it'll cost them 100 euros or hassles. They rolled their eyes. No signs of no drinking on the patio..a guy came out and rudely said "YOU to put your coffee on the floor!" You didn't buy it here. PUT IT ON THE FLOOR! The only nice lady there was a security guard name SANDY!! THANK YOU.. SHE MADE OUR STAY (6 DAYS) WELCOME.. BUT WOULD NEVER COME BACK

If you want easy walking to shopping, food, and archaeological sites, this is the place. Just north of Monastiraki square, which is a great jump off for shopping and sight seeing. Plenty of amazing places to eat. Just walk around and you’ll run into something. Moxy is modern, clean, and friendly. The staff realized we were there for my wife’s birthday and decorated the room. This place is safe and fun. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay - perfect for the metro from the airport and 10 minutes walk from the bars restaurants and all the highlights of Athens. The only thing I would say is don't bother with the breakfast - basic and a bit odd - pizza, spinach pie, potatoes, omelette blocks, bacon, spicy sausage, scrambled eggs and tomatoes with cheese. Sugary cereals and no muesli!! Eat out for breakfast - there's so many great local places to go.
