We booked one of the suits for the hot tub and view of the acropolis. The view was absolutely gorgeous, however we couldn’t use the hot tub because it never heated up even after letting it run for 8 hours, and the water was freezing. We asked the staff for help but they told us there was nothing they could do. Extremely disappointing that we didn’t get to use the amenity that we booked the room specifically for. The breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and spacious otherwise. The hotel was within walking distance of a lot, including Plakka and the Monastiraki Flea market which was awesome. The staff was 50/50 on friendliness - some were very nice, others seemed like you were bothering them. Overall I would recommend staying in this hotel because it has several great things going for it, but there’s some room for improvement.

The hotel arranged our flawless transportation to and from the airport. They also arranged a three island cruise for us. We were in 503 with a hot tub on the terrace and a fantastic view of The Acropolis. 501 (next door) was the same, a little smaller with a tub. Would definitely recommend this property for a stay in old Athens.

Location. We did not feel safe going out at night. Air conditioning was terrible, not working properly and seemed controlled at certain hours. No A/C in the lobby only a fan. Not ideal for triple digit temperatures in July. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Would not stay here again.

At time of reservation I was told we could pay with credit card upon arrival. However, when we arrived their “machine was not working”. We had limited euros, and they didn’t prefer US dollars, so they insisted we do a bank transfer. When we refused to do that and suggested they get the credit card machine fixed the next day, they said it would not be working the next day either. We had to pay with US dollars, which caused an inconvenience for us later on our trip. In addition to this fiasco at check in, our room had no ice container and no kleenex. When we called for ice, they brought a cupful. The elevator was tiny and didn’t work all the time. Their breakfast room was overcrowded with tables and difficult to maneuver. The coffee machine was calibrated so that less than half a cup was dispensed at a time. Very good location, enjoyed the large room with balcony. Comfy bed, kitchenette with amenities and breakfast included was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Right next to the plaka, but without the noise. Only complaint was a noisy elevator that we could hear.

Great hotel myself and my partner had a lovely time at this hotel. Staff are amazing but they just need to put instructions on how to use the cooker in the room that would be helpful. But overall lovely hotel and lovely staff breakfast was nice to. Would stay here again great location.

Amazing stay at the Royalty Suites. Great room with super comfy beds and pillows, great amenities and bathroom with amazing shower. Room was cleaned every day and the staff were super welcoming. Hotel is in a great area and within an easily walkable to restaurants and tourist spots. Would highly recommend. Also provided a very enjoyable breakfast.

This property is well located in Athens, next to the bars, which made me feel safe going out at night! The staff was super nice and even brought our lugages to our room while we were out exploring the city! And our room had a view of the Acropolis and a nice balcony to enjoy. Comfy bed and clean room. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Staying for one night, tv not working but they will get it looked at in the morning? Lift something out of a 70 year old hospital. Cigarette smell on bedding. Come in at 8am to check your mini bar, wth. Breakfast seating jammed in. Cleaner has crap all over corridoor as you leave you room to checkout.

Amazing hotel and location! Staff was very helpful, and the room with the Acropolis view exceeded expectations. All of the main sites and attractions were all within a half hour walk. The amount of amazing food spots nearby was outstanding! We’ll definitely be staying here again our next visit.

At time of reservation I was told we could pay with credit card upon arrival. However, when we arrived their “machine was not working”. We had limited euros, and they didn’t prefer US dollars, so they insisted we do a bank transfer. When we refused to do that and suggested they get the credit card machine fixed the next day, they said it would not be working the next day either. We had to pay with US dollars, which caused an inconvenience for us later on our trip. In addition to this fiasco at check in, our room had no ice container and no kleenex. When we called for ice, they brought a cupful. The elevator was tiny and didn’t work all the time. Their breakfast room was overcrowded with tables and difficult to maneuver. The coffee machine was calibrated so that less than half a cup was dispensed at a time. The hotel is within walking distance to Monastiraki Square, which is a very popular shopping area of Athens, but the neighborhood looks a little sketchy. I do not recommend this hotel.

Very good location, enjoyed the large room with balcony. Comfy bed, kitchenette with amenities and breakfast included was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Right next to the plaka, but without the noise. Only complaint was a noisy elevator that we could hear.

Staff was nice! Property is walkable to metro station and all the main touristy spots. Staff helped us booked taxi early in the morning and prepped us breakfast to-go even though the kitchen isn’t open yet.

Great location. Room is Nice and clean. Up to date decor and technology. Very close to main square, restaurants and shops. Upon arriving area appeared a bit sketchy but after walking throughout city came to realize entire city is the same. Lots of graffiti and older buildings.

Location. We did not feel safe going out at night. Air conditioning was terrible, not working properly and seemed controlled at certain hours. No A/C in the lobby only a fan. Not ideal for triple digit temperatures in July. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Would not stay here again.

This property is well located in Athens, next to the bars, which made me feel safe going out at night! The staff was super nice and even brought our lugages to our room while we were out exploring the city! And our room had a view of the Acropolis and a nice balcony to enjoy. Comfy bed and clean room. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Really loved the hotel, but not the area around it. Lots of graffiti on other buildings making me insecure if it was a nice neighborhood. Although, we didn’t have any problems and our room was a big suite for a lot lower price than other hotels . Good access to all the sites.

Amazing hotel and location! Staff was very helpful, and the room with the Acropolis view exceeded expectations. All of the main sites and attractions were all within a half hour walk. The amount of amazing food spots nearby was outstanding! We’ll definitely be staying here again our next visit.

There are no amenities other than breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was ok but the same every day. Most disappointing was the room. it was tiny. Nothing like the pictures they show you on the website. We paid the extra for an acropolis view. it wasn't worth it. the balcony was tiny and useless not even a chair out there. Would definitely not recommend or stay again.
