this hotel was nice, clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was soso. The cheese omlets had been sitting to long and was touch and only the center was edible but everything else was good. It was close to a place we were visiting so location was good for us. Ac and shower both worked great, room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I also took the girls to the pool and they enjoyed it. Plenty of parking in an enclosed fence, well lit. Great stay

Nice amenities, very clean, quiet. The neighborhood is sketchy but fenced in. I did notice a guard car sitting in parking lot so that eased my mind with walking in and leaving my car.

Hotel was okay, receptionist was cool. Room we were assigned was right next to the highway. There was a lot of noise and the ice maker was on the 3th and 5th floor. Very inconvenient

We arrived early and intended to just leave our bags there while we did other things, but were able to check into our room. The room was sparkling clean and the beds comfortable. I asked for an extra blanket and got one immediately. Our tv didn't work and were offered to move to another room. We were only there for 2 nights so decided to stay in the room. We were told someone came in to fix the tv. but could tell they never really did. Management and rest of staff went above and beyond to make us happy in that regard. Though we didn't use them, there's a nice indoor pool and exercise room. Breakfast was plentiful with hot foods (not just packaged pastries), but not that tasty. Pancake maker was out of service but they provided premade pancakes, though they were tough. All in all it was much better than most every other hotel! Yusef was a standout staff member!

The hotel seemed new, and was very clean. But the neighborhood was kinda sketchy! Very small parking lot. Breakfast was good, and the fitness area was good too.

I would love to stay here again! This has honestly been the best hotel we have ever stayed at. As soon as you walk in you can smell how clean it is. We felt worry free of our vehicle and safe with a security car outside all night long. Complimentary parking and easy access to the exit and entry points. Shampoo, conditioner, handsoap, lotion bottles were all full size and had push down tops for easy access. No squeezing small bottles or opening wrappers for bar soaps. The staff was excellent and friendly. Like I said, I would stay here again!

Very nice and professional staff. The set up of holiday inn is also nice but as far as the rooms go, the room itself smells pretty bad even by hotel standards, i think it has something to do with the AC. The couch our room had some questionable white stains / marks on it that left me and my partner wondering if the bed was also dirty. The smell of the room really turned me off they gotta fix that.

For the price and location, I expected this hotel to be a little better. Pros: everything was very clean, staff were great, bedding was comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. Cons: this hotel billed itself as "soundproof rooms." While I couldn't hear much from the rooms beside us, the noise outside sounded like it was in the room. I wore ear plugs and still heard traffic noise all night. I'm guessing the windows were terrible, because it was also really muggy in our room. I get it, we're near the gulf coast. Houston is muggy. But everything was kinda damp the whole time. We only stayed one night, and got there late, so they may have switched rooms if we asked. But it didn’t seem worth it for the short time we were there. If you stay here, ask for a room that doesn’t face the freeway, and maybe you can avoid the noise at least. Breakfast was ok. There were decent options, but nothing was hot. The coffee was good and hot though. There were few options for people who need to avoid dairy or other allergens. I wish this hotel brand as a whole would add some options for people with dietary restrictions.

We were in town to attend a concert at NRG The breakfast was ok but the sausage wasn’t real not sure what it was. Our room was good but the motorized window shades do not work we reported and they opened but they would not close. The soap, Shampoo and conditioner is not dove as it says. Room was quiet and everything worked perfectly. This is a newer property and the room was well appointed. Good breakfasts. Very convenient to downtown, the Heights neighborhood, and the Texas Medical Center is 20 minutes away. Tons of great restaurants and grocery stores close by.

We arrived early were asked to pay an extra $50 to check in. No problem I asked specifically what I would be charged. Was told $75 extra and $25 would fall off. Signed paperwork. Woke up the next day was charged an additional $59.50. Front desk lady said I wouldn’t be able to get a copy of the receipt cause I booked through a 3rd party. When asked about the $59.50 charge she said it was for the early check in. Asked why it wasn’t the other way around she said she wasn’t there the previous day. Wouldn’t give me any paperwork. $50 turned to $59.50 and not the way I was explained it. Got an attitude from the lady cause I needed clarification on what was going on since I wouldn’t be getting any receipt.

Check in was at 3 pm and they didn’t have the room ready. He told us 10 mins at first but once we double checked he said it was going to be an hour. We left to get food and came back to be told 5 more mins. Being that I had to go somewhere and be ready by 5:30 I asked if we could be accommodated by being put in another whilst we wait. He said no, that we pre paid and I wouldn’t get my money back. But when I said I don’t care about the money I just need a room, he magically had a room. When I brought this up, he said he had a cancellation yet earlier when I had asked the same questions he was sold out. He then brought up my age and said that he didn’t even need to be giving me a room because I was under 21. I responded if age is the issue I had someone who was 21, he then went silent. Overall the man working the front, was extremely rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. I would strongly suggest you fire him, no explanation was ever given on our room.

The staff was phenomenal! I had a small panic after we checked in and i realized i forgot our orinted tockets. They printed for me n! Checkout was also fun and courteous. Ms. Cassandra was a joy to converse with!

When I checked in I was required to put a card on file for $75 for incidentals. This was never mentioned when I booked the room, luckily i had exactly enough to spare for this. It has now been a full week and I have not gotten my money back, I have called 3 times this week, the first 2 times I was told it was already released and would be back on my card by friday. I called my bank and they had no record of the transaction being released, so i called back a third time. This time they also looked up my stay, and told me the money had to be manually released and that she did it now, but do to this I still wont recieve the money until the end of next week now, a full 2 weeks after my stay, for money I was told I would have back in 24 hours. This is completely unnacceptable, especially because both of the people I had spoken with earlier today specifically said it had been released even though I realize now that was just a bold faced lie. This is a large amount of money for me, and it greatly impacted the rest of my trip and still is over a week later. No excuse for this when I have been contacting the property all week over this.
When I checked in I was required to put a card on file for $75 for incidentals. This was never mentioned when I booked the room, luckily i had exactly enough to spare for this. It has now been a full week and I have not gotten my money back, I have called 3 times this week, the first 2 times I was told it was already released and would be back on my card by friday. I called my bank and they had no record of the transaction being released, so i called back a third time. This time they also looked up my stay, and told me the money had to be manually released and that she did it now, but do to this I still wont recieve the money until the end of next week now, a full 2 weeks after my stay, for money I was told I would have back in 24 hours. This is completely unnacceptable, especially because both of the people I had spoken with earlier today specifically said it had been released even though I realize now that was just a bold faced lie. This is a large amount of money for me, and it greatly impacted the rest of my trip and still is over a week later. No excuse for this when I have been contacting the property all week over this.

Great Hotel in less than a desirable location. Not much around in walking distance. Would not walk at night. The staff are excellent and the hotel it self is clean and comfortable. The price reflected the location. If you are looking for a affordable place to stay and have transportation or uber i eould recommend this place. If you want to be in the downtown mix and be walkable do not choose this place. It is about 10 miles from NRG stadium average 23 to 25 dollars uber.however be prepared to pay 100 for the transportation back aftet sporting event.

For the price and location, I expected this hotel to be a little better. Pros: everything was very clean, staff were great, bedding was comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. Cons: this hotel billed itself as "soundproof rooms." While I couldn't hear much from the rooms beside us, the noise outside sounded like it was in the room. I wore ear plugs and still heard traffic noise all night. I'm guessing the windows were terrible, because it was also really muggy in our room. I get it, we're near the gulf coast. Houston is muggy. But everything was kinda damp the whole time. We only stayed one night, and got there late, so they may have switched rooms if we asked. But it didn’t seem worth it for the short time we were there. If you stay here, ask for a room that doesn’t face the freeway, and maybe you can avoid the noise at least. Breakfast was ok. There were decent options, but nothing was hot. The coffee was good and hot though. There were few options for people who need to avoid dairy or other allergens. I wish this hotel brand as a whole would add some options for people with dietary restrictions.

We arrived early and intended to just leave our bags there while we did other things, but were able to check into our room. The room was sparkling clean and the beds comfortable. I asked for an extra blanket and got one immediately. Our tv didn't work and were offered to move to another room. We were only there for 2 nights so decided to stay in the room. We were told someone came in to fix the tv. but could tell they never really did. Management and rest of staff went above and beyond to make us happy in that regard. Though we didn't use them, there's a nice indoor pool and exercise room. Breakfast was plentiful with hot foods (not just packaged pastries), but not that tasty. Pancake maker was out of service but they provided premade pancakes, though they were tough. All in all it was much better than most every other hotel! Yusef was a standout staff member!
