Super cute hotel. Hard to find at first. Convenient walk to the middle of hollywood. Has a restaurant (breakfast and lunch) on premises and a cute bar. Cute room, nice pool. Parking cost $38 Extra. I would stay here again.

Very interesting place to stay, lots of film/actor framed photos and movie artwork in the stairwell. The property seems like two different spots but is nicely renovated and my room had an amazing view of the Hollywood sign. The gym is very lacking, they only had one kettlebell for weights and the cable machine was broken. Also weirdly in the garage and after dark was a little creepy.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! Front desk, valet and the lounge staff were all so welcoming and friendly and fun! We picked this hotel for the location and it exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy, our room was adorable. Everything was convenient, the diner in the building was beyond excellent, the lounge was perfect and we were walking distance to our event. Really can’t wait to find a reason to come back here!

I love the old Hollywood decor and feel. It has a great diner and weekends get packed for brunch so expect a wait. The swanky bar is fun and usually live with music and really nice. The property is well kept but parking is limited and they do make you pay valet or Pay for self parking. Love staying here and only thing I would change is, them adding room service to the rooms.

Really cool hotel with tons of old time hollywood photos everywhere - interesting to walk through and look at. Great size rooms, very clean, with comfy bed and large bathroom. Friendly staff, quick check in. Outside seating areas and pool area too! Nice bar on site as well!

Great atmosphere. Wonderful restaurant and lounge on site. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. The staff at front desk was a little too casually dressed in sweats and hoodies, detracting from the Hollywood ambiance.

This property needs updated. Room was fine. Shower went from cold to scalding. The fitness center was a joke and the machines were out of service. Each night I had to have someone come up to fix the TV. Parking was expensive

We love supporting family-owned boutique hotels this is a great find in Hollywood if you wanting a place to stay that has lots of character and you love the movies like we do this is a must stay we will be staying at this hotel a lot more frequently when we visit Hollywood and do our special movie Nights that we do on a consistent basis the owner is there you can tell he really cares about his hotel there's a great little bar named Lily's bar and a great Diner to have food you have everything you need and it's a great property by the way they have a room that has a great view of the Hollywood sign if you're coming out of town and you want to Hollywood experience I highly recommend you stay here it's close to everything in Hollywood

We loved the rooms and the cafe. Unfortunately every time we attempted to use the pool it was closed. WiFi is not so great. But we’ll definitely be back. The staff was great as well.

Very convenient location for our visit to Universal Studios. The hotel is clean. Room had renovated and spacious bathroom. Interesting posters on the walls throughout the hotel. But hotel is just OLD. You can immediately smell that old building scent. The room had very old carpet, maybe if they replaced that one it would have been better. Tiny window. Old A/C which could not cool down the room really well. Overall worked Ok for us to spend a quick night. Would not stay there again. Oh, and I actually forgot that it supposed to offer some VIP perks to us due to Expedia status. None were offered. Based on the pictures, the hotel does have the rooms that looks newer.

This was our second time at The Adler. We had a larger room this time. Very spacious and comfortable. Huge, nice bathroom, except sink fixtures were a bit janky. And water can be scalding. I LOVE the pool and pool area. Also love the onsite dinner- delicious breakfast all day, and the pastries! Only real negative is they now 'require' valet parking. There is a lot/garage right there, and it's ridiculous to pay extra for valet. I tried to find street parking at night, but no luck.

Terrible experience! The bedding was dirty, with visible stains and hair. I asked the staff to change rooms, but he refused. I then requested clean bedding, only to find that the “clean” ones were also stained. When I brought this up, the staff admitted they were aware of the stains but said they couldn’t do anything because the laundry is outsourced. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.

Lots of fruit bugs ( nats) coming out of the shower drain and front desk personnel gave us raid roach spray for the night to use. Was raining no slippery wet sight my son in law fell. Hurt his knee.

Great position to walk to the partonage theatre in day light. Super sketchy at night. Our room was very noisy from traffic around it. Valet parking was easy but expensive but that’s LA. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Didn’t dare wash my hair as water pressure was low and I didn’t think I’d be able to get the shampoo out. If I returned I’d ask for a top floor room as the floors above are very squeaky.

I appreciated the hotel a lot: it was beautiful, it has a great location, it was walkable to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it had a breakfast place attached. The only thing I didn't appreciate was how noisy the room was. I was in 119 and the windows were so old that all of the outside noise (including the freeways and the helicopters) would come in at night. It was hard to sleep at night. Bring earplugs!

Room was on the 2nd floor above the bar and overlooking at the valet area of the parking lot. Noise level was high on my room from the bar. When patrons left, 1-2am, the noise moved to the valet area. Could not sleep and rest. I had to get up early the next day to go to work, it was a business trip. Next day was miserable being at work tired from poor sleep. Hotel is cool, etc. but need to offer comfort

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Tons of Old Hollywood pics and the staff is amazing. If you love Old Hollywood, this is the hotel for you. Not a long walk to Hollywood Blvd either. Four exits away from Universal Studios and three from Warner Brothers Studio. Very centrally located. Make sure to go on the stairs of mystery, very well worth it. The diner attached to the hotel, Clark St Diner, has amazing food and is extremely popular. We had a room overlooking the Hollywood Sign.

Just a beautiful, fun, vibey Hollywood hotel. We got the king sign view room and it was huge! There's a lot of road noise from Franklin and the freeway but it wasn't a bother for us. We're already planning on coming back on another trip since we only get one night here for this trip.

Good location, nicely decorated with modern rooms. Easy check in process. Disappointing that rooms aren’t routinely cleaned so room never cleaned our whole stay, you have to request fresh towels etc. which I think is poor for the money charged for the room per night. Room extremely stuffy, cannot open a window and air con very noisy. But of an unpleasant smell in the corridors like cabbages.

Couple of significant issues. 1. there were trees outside each window in the room that would scrape against the window pane when a breeze would pick up that was like nails on a chalkboard. 2. when I went to call the front desk I noticed there was no phone in the room. OK I thought to myself, just a new thing about modern hotels? Tried to call the front desk from my cell phone and the line just rang and rang. It was 8 o-clock in the evening So for such a nice hotel it was not very peaceful or quiet and it should NEVER be difficult to contact a hotel front desk, let alone impossible

Hotel was fairly priced for a decent location. You are not in the heart of the action but a very short drive to any of the main attractions nearby. The room was clean but basic, the lobby area was pretty cool with lots of Hollywood memorabilia and the staff were very friendly especially the daytime valet. If you’re looking to save some money on price from the big chain hotels closer to the attractions but still be close enough to get around the main parts of LA, this is a great option.

OK area to stay at a good price. Area is a little sketchy, but a 10 min walk to bars and walk of fame. Diner in lobby is very convenient. Bathroom towels need to be updated, everything else in the room was clean and in good condition. Parking is expensive.

A beautiful, unique property with a 10 minutes walking to Hollywood Blvd. Everything about the hotel was perfect inside. As a single traveler the walk to the strip was a bit unnerving at certain times of the day but I would absolutely stay here again. Oh and make sure you take the full flight of stairs at least once! It is absolutely worth it!

Lovely retro-style hotel that has clearly had some extensive renovations recently. Pros: -LOCATION! A 5 minute walk from Hollywood Blvd, Metro Station and lots of best bars and restaurants. - VIBE! Very cool references to old Hollywood throughout the hotel. Make sure to take the stairs from the lobby to the roof (yes you can access the roof top for great views of the city) to see so much movie and culture memorabilia across the walls. AMENITIES: really cool pool deck area, classic diner and high end bar on site. A little pricey but good reviews. Cons: It’s an older building so the sound proofing is questionable. We could hear the room above us stomping throughout the day and night, and you can hear people’s conversations and TV’s while walking down the halls. -The water pressure in the bathroom was pretty abysmal. Barely a trickle from the shower head but gets extremely hot very quickly. -the area surrounding the hotel is quite sketchy, especially once it’s dark. Wouldn’t recommend walking the neighbourhood at night. -would’ve been nice if the TV had internet connectivity or the option to connect a fire stick or stream from a mobile device. Cable TV gets boring after a while. All in all, would definitely stay here again if the rates were good.

Overall, a decent hotel within walking distance (about a mile) to the Hollywood Stars, etc. staff was friendly, the room was a typical room - no complaints other than the loud traffic outside our window, and the decor around the hallways was fun! I have no plans of returning to LA but would consider staying here again if I ever do! Oh, and the food at Clark Diner was yummm-o!!

Everyone here was so kind! The beds and TVs are huge and the air conditioner worked really well. It was a 25 min walk to the Hollywood Bowl! There is a diner inside with fantastic food and staff I went to every morning! A convenience store is next to the property that we got snacks and water from!

We liked the food at Clark Diner on site but the hours were kind of limited for the days of our stay. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows! Even though there is a lot of traffic we slept well due to the beds.
