Airport shuttle was great. Same breakfast everyday bring on some donuts & fruit!!!

Friendly staff and hot, fresh breakfast. Breakfast is limited but is cooked upon order (scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pancakes) plus beverages and cereal. Property is showing its age that some cosmetic updates in the rooms can't hide. Water pressure was horrendous and the toilets are round, not elongated so keep that in mind if you have digestive needs/requirements. Parking could be a challenge as it's limited (but free). All rooms are faux suites with no real wall to divide the living from the bedroom spaces. Mini kitchen does not include hot plate or tools (cutlery, serving ware, plates etc.,). The kitchen did not even include soap, dishtowels, or paper towels. On our last day I saw a tiny fridge magnet shoved way to the back on the side that said we could request items from the front desk but too little, too late. The full size fridge was great. There was a faint dog smell in our room but we arrived at 2am so we weren't going to complain. This is a dog friendly place so that just might be the way it is. Everything seemed clean, otherwise. Just a little run down in corners (like the tub and plumbing).

Pool was about half the size it looked on the website. The whole building looks different.

I stayed here one night to be close to the airport for an early flight. The shuttle was perfect, the room was very spacious and nice. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the breakfast as it didn't open until 7am which was the time I was catching the shuttle.

The room has shuttle service, but it doesn’t run at night. I’m booked this room specifically for the shuttle and had to take an Uber because my flight arrived late.

It was good for the most part, except the pool and jacuzzi was out of order

Average hotel with a decent pool and hot tub. Airport pickup was quick.

The airport shuttle does not start til after 7 am. I stayed there for shuttle to airport, but then could not use. Plus, breakfast started later on weekends, so unable to get any.

Immediately getting out of the car in the parking lot and through the entire lobby it smelled terribly of mold/ mildew. The greenery is pretty but very clearly not maintained. The smell is nauseating and never went away the entire week we were there. The room is okay for the price but very dated & minimal. It was "clean" but things like stains in the carpets, black stains in the shower (which was awful as well) just don't FEEL clean if that makes sense. Things like the windows hadn't been wiped in a long time. There was mold in the coffee pot. It just seems the place was surface wiped and kept but not actually cleaned. The free breakfast was the same everyday and the kitchen closes well before the end time so the last 30 minutes you get whatever scraps are leftover, nothing fresh. I wouldn't say there was anything bad per se, it's just good to know what to expect ahead of time. The pressure in the shower was high which I usually prefer but the shower head was awful. Unable to move or change settings so the water sprays everywhere, felt like multiple water gun jet streams rather than a shower (Forget it if you have sunburn.) If you're looking for something quick, easy, cheap and near the airports, this works. But if you're looking for a more relaxing vacation with luxury hotel amenities and features, this is definitely not the place. Nobody wants to pay to go on vacation to a place that falls below their at home standards. Everyone is different but this wasn't ideal for us.

The room was not very clean and had stains especially in the bathroom. The refrigerator didn't work, the light flickered, the key card took several tries each time to open the door. We both got bug bites

The room had ants on the bed and on the counters and it was very loud.

The bathroom have spiders and I reported to the main office and nobody when there to clean, i found one in the towels, the other one in the floor, and two more in the ceiling. The breakfasts lady was really mean she just served a little bit and we ask for little bit more and she dont wanted. Nobody when to do room service in the office say we have to be more then 7 day to somebody do a room cleaning dont matter i report spiders there. 😡😡 not even a discount offer me

The room was dusty, and the old carpet had a strong, unpleasant odor. Since it was only a two-night stay, I didn’t request a room change. However, for a longer stay, this environment could pose health risks, especially for individuals with respiratory issues or weakened immune systems. The curtains were also dirty and noticeably aged. The bed sheets had visible stains, which was disappointing. However, when I asked the housekeeping staff to replace them, they responded promptly and changed them promptly.

The room that I stayed in had a lot of cockroaches

It wasn’t that clean. Found bugs on the window curtains and in the bathroom. It smelled funky and the floor felt dirty.

The one tv wouldn’t connect to the wiffi so only the live tv channels were available. The other tv would connect to wiffi to try to watch the movies on demand but the service was horrible. It would stop every 20-30 seconds. The walls are a bit thin. We could hear the neighbors and the people on top of us all night.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There is a spacious separate living room area with a couch. 2 windows. Free parking. Very close to the freeway, only 10 min to beaches. The free breakfast was great! I enjoyed my stay and the hotel/room was an excellent value for what you get!

I liked that rooms were a great set up and the staff was friendly. Getting into to parking was a challenge but once in the lot there was plenty of parking. What I didn’t like was there was noise in the pool area after the quiet time and the walls are thin so you can hear everything . Neighbors played their music loud until about 1:30am and then you could hear them making love until about 4am. I had to put on headphones with white noise to sleep

Stayed here for an event at Angel Stadium. Pictures do not properly depict conditions of the property. Dingy exterior, terrible parking. The rooms where clean and neat, AC was not great and the location is noisy.

Internet was slow. Room was a good size for a family of 4. Room did have smell. Asked prior to arrival for extra towels. Had to request towels twice. Stuff was friendly.

The property location was easy to navigate to and from when commuting around the area. There is shopping and restaurants about 10 minutes down the road. The room was huge and offered more than enough space for our family of 3. The fridge and freezer was amazing for cold drinks, snacks, and even ice cream! The area was quiet and nice to just lounge in the courtyard, on the balcony, or by the pool.

The shower water is too weak, I wish it was stronger.

2 VIZIO TV's, in the room, unable to connect to the WIFI. No way to watch them. I called the maintenance man, he was gracious still NO INTERNET SERVICE. (I was mislead and paid for a night). DISAPPOINTED He brought a JVC TV, it worked!!! Great customer service & Service man.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Ice machine broken and no water for over 24 hours. Access keys didn’t work the first time so I had to swipe like 5 times before the door would open.

I don't normally ever leave reviews so here goes. My experience with this hotel and a couple staff members was not good to say the least. First we arrive to our room and both key cards took 7-10 tries to unlock the room every time during our 4 day stay. Next our room had bugs on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Multiple spiders and carpet beetles (see pic). Next we went to grab some detergent for the washer and on the 1st time they charged me one price and the next time for the same item charged me a different price and when I inquired why the difference the front desk woman just shrugged her shoulders and clearly could care less. I told them about the bugs, locks and the cleaning staff. The cleaning staff was outside my room so I asked for 2 towels and all she said was I speak no English and walked away. And finally the parking lot was a joke. People were aloud to double park blocking everyone in actual spots. I had to do a 10 point turn on two of the days to get out and it wasn’t just in one part of the lot it was throughout.

I needed assistance twice and the staff were so quick and accommodating.

Loved everything about this place! All of the staff were friendly. Cesar at the front desk was very accommodating. It was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. And most important I felt safe. I will be returning

I don’t even know where to start. Zero guest service from the agent at front desk. She sat behind the desk, was talking to someone in her phone while checking me in and was confusing me as I was not clear if she was talking to me. Eventually got checked in and made it to my room only to find bed was barley made and dirty floor. To really make this place a never again for me, was that we requested additional blankets and pillows they never came, we had to go to the front desk to ask again same young lady from the night before was again underserving all guest including a elderly woman in a wheelchair, who she refused to put on the first floor with claim of no availability of bottom floor, which was pure bs. the room next to us was vacant. Lady asked for help getting her stuff to room on 2nd floor, they told her that they can’t help. So my wife got a cart and loaded it up and helped this handicapped elderly lady. I am absolutely disgusted with choice and main stay for no quality control or culture of service. Being in hospitality for over 24 years, I am mortified at the lack of guest service. Do better! Definitely remove your guest check in agent from front of house, she had the personality of a rock.

Staff is incredibly rude. The girl at the check in desk made everyone who arrived even a few minutes early sit in the lobby and wait until 3pm on the dot for check in because there were "no rooms ready early". Magically at 3, everybody's room was ready and then we all had to wait in line to check in. So there was a long line resulting in a long wait to actually get checked-in. If you arrive anytime between 2:30-3:30 just expect a 15-20 minute delay of sitting in the lobby while they check everyone in. Additionally, you will be required to sign an electronic document stating that you will be charged $50 for any stains on towels, $1.50 for safe usage, and a long list of other ridiculous charges that are not typical at a hotel. The breakfast situation is BAD. There is one employee behind the counter who will serve you a pre-portioned breakfast, and even at 8am it was already cold. This is not one of those nice continental hotel breakfasts. At check out the staff would not give me a receipt since I booked through a third party, and they claimed to be a paperless company. I still have not received any check-out summary an hour after checking out, and I do not trust this property to not pull some sort of nonsense with additional charges.

We stayed here for 5 days. Our room was never cleaned, everything in our room stayed damp, we had to request towels every other day, they were “out” of washcloths, and breakfast was the same thing every morning with no variety. People did not pick up after their animals. The pool and fire pit were nice.

The location is great for restaurants and fast access to John Wayne Airport. The room is ok just a little outdated and the mattress is kind of worn.

I got room on the road side. I heard cars from the road during in the night. Need to improve breakfast options.

Easy freeway access, close to airport

Nice property. Clean and kept up well. There aren’t many places to eat close by but a quick car ride can get you to food. The included breakfast is really good.

Nice place with friendly staff. Shuttle available to SNA free upon request. No restaurants and/or shops nearby (walking distance) the hotel. A very small Kiosk open until 11pm. After 11pm, the staff told us to go to the next hotel where their small shop stayed open late. Room was clean and cosy. Outdoor pool and gym are open until 10pm I believe. A simple daily breakfasts: pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages and hushed potatoes. And three kinds of cereals. Coffee, tea and soft drinks. It seemed like the place changed the name recently so make sure you tell the shared driver and confirm.

The hotels.com page is misleading, wifi poor, free breakfast is bland hospital like food, parking lot at night is scarce. Steady noise from airport as motel is in plane flightpath. Wouldve stayed elsewhere for cheaper because it felt cheap. Don’t recommend. Wish there was an honest review like this before I booked.

All was great except breakfast starts at 7:00am. Not good for us that have to be out to tournaments at 7:00am and must leave the hotel at 6:30 am. Many times, we don't know what time our game starts until the night before.

There were no other items not even apples or bananas or any fresh fruit---no toast, or any other bread items offered. It was disappointing.

Best hotel in the area for the price, amazing breakfast and good service overall

The hotel is huge in size compared to others but it probably needs an update. Breakfast was okay. It is not a buffet but they provide food portion on a plate/box. It is clean but you can smell the chemicals used to clean the room.

Not sure how this place got such good ratings. I know you get what you pay for but with the rating I thought maybe, I was wrong. Food: meh, everyday was the same breakfast - scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, pancakes, and cereal. No fruit, no variation. Hash browns were old. Bed comfort: hard and lumpy TVs: didn’t work had to have serviced Bathroom: wall paper was peeling, gunk on back of door that looked like blood, bathroom door didn’t latch, was not very clean Living area: okay, furniture was warm and dated Property: leaking a/c units, dirty towels in hall area, balcony view was electric plant, loud traffic.

Easy check-in & out, a OK breakfast (a little bit greasy for me), no parking fees, a rental car office in the same location. All those services when considering the room rate I received were more than good. I’ll choose this hotel again.
