Terrible old spring mattress on role away bed Both TVs in suite not usable Internet/Wifi not included Some doors stuck or only move with much resistance.

Nort recommended. Parking is terrible for a "luxury" hotel it should have a proper parking located directly at or near the hotel entrance, instead you have to go around to the other side in Santo Domingo traffic whic takes about, believe it or not, 30 minutes minimum in rush hour. In addition, even though my one night stay was prepaid through Hotels.com they blocked US$700 (seven hundred dollars) on my credit card. That is outrageous. Only good thing is all hotel personnel is very friendly and welcoming.

The only thing bad about this hotel is no valet parking. For a 5 star hotel not acceptable. Everything else was superb

Great location. Excellent staff. Heavy traffic area that is why i was surprised there was no valet parking.

This place was simply amazing! Had a little construction going on next door that diminished the infinity pool experience but other than that this place was PERFECT from the staff to the location to the accommodations EVERYTHING was perfect!

Unfortunately my stay was met with disappointment. It started off with the unwelcoming receptionist at the front desk. I understand everyone has bad days but at least try to mask it. However I wasn’t going to let this ruin my experience. Boy was I wrong! My girlfriend and I proceeded to enter our room and noticed it it didn’t have a unpleasant smell. The room smelled moldy. It was as if someone had placed a bag of wet laundry and let it sit overnight. I noticed it wasn’t just my room, I had also booked three other rooms for my family and we all had the same issue. I had to switch rooms three times because all three rooms smelled exactly the same. The room I finally chose still smelled but wasn’t as prominent. It was the best of the worse. We also visited the lobby bar a couple time during our stay and noticed that morning customer service isn’t as friendly as the night shift. On day two our toilet broke down and took 6 hours to fix. I’ve been to many Marriott’s and this was the worst experience. What saves this hotel is the location which is prime! 10/10. The hotel is literally located within the blue mall which was convenient. Unfortunately I do not recommend.

Walls were thin. Carpet smell moldy. Furniture very beat up.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff were amazing and helpful. Veronica front desk manager I believe went out her way to help us rent a vehicle. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, food was really good and prices were reasonable. Hotel is a little pricey but worth it.

This was the worse stay ever very disappointed had blood stains on sheet upon check in. And my friend slipped and fell with water dripping from the cieling. Hotel did nothing to rectify the situation, failed to report incident report and said a manger will contact us never did out entire stay.

Our room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious! The staff was professional, courteous, and kind. We like the hotel’s location and proximity to shopping and restaurants in The Blue Mall.

It is very expensive! For the parking need to pay as separate charges, the bathroom is dirty and the main entrance is not private. Need yo pay also 500 pesos per internet use daily. Is not worth its value.

Este hotel era lujoso hace 20 años. Ahora está OK, se mantiene relativamente cómodo, pero las habitaciones se sienten muy viejas y polvosas. Lo que sí puedo rescatar es la ubicación; muy buena justo arriba de un centro comercial con muchas tiendas y restaurantes.

The hotel has the perfecto location. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff is extremely nice. The room was incredible with a great view and huge. It had two full bathrooms!

The hotel is great and rooms are big and comfortable. The terrace is also big but since is outdoor one may see frequent insects.

It was a nice place to stay at, but the room I booked showed me having a balcony, but when I got there, it didn’t have one. Website needs to be updated

Bon séjour en général, Seul problème, les chambres sont mal insonorisées et le personnel de l’hôtel frappe à la porte des 8h00 du matin, pourquoi je ne saurais le dire Ce n’est franchement pas agréable quand on veut se reposer

Check in was slow, the room wasn’t ready when I got there even though it was already check in time. Then they gave me the wrong room, a double bed when I had reserved and paid for a king. They finally changed it after like an hour and a half and gave me the right room but there was loud music in the pool area at 2am that didn’t let me sleep and despite calling the front desk numerous times they didn’t know where the music was coming from. I was only there for one night and it was a terrible experience, I couldn’t rest at all.

Really liked the hotel. Obly one negative comment, I booked a suite with a balcony but that floor was in renovation. Instead of an upgrade I received a less expensive room and no credit was given

Mi habitación estaba pagada por adelantada y la recepcionista carga a mi tarjeta más de $1,600US cobrándola de forma doble. Cuando se le cuestionó dijo que no tenían sistema. Si mi esposa no se hubiera dado cuenta, me timan más de $1,600US. En adición, te cargan por adelantado a tu tarjeta una cuantía muy en exceso a otros hoteles. Muy caro para lo que es. Hay otros hoteles de excelente calidad, a mitad de precio y algunos incluyen desayuno.

The service was superb! Housekeeping even folded our clothes - like never seen before the attention to details and be served, taken care of, and feeling beyond being pampered. The best service ever and I have traveled the world! Way to go JW Marriott in Santo Domingo.

Gorgeous property conveniently located downtown. Staff were phenomenal and accommodating.

Had to wait after 5PM to get my room even when i am a platinum member

Breakfast was good. However the hotel had a lot of deferred maintenance.
