This property is new and clean. However one elevator was out of service and desk clerk who was excellent needs a colleague to assist as line ups form. Also parking spots in garage are quite tight so be careful

Brand new hotel so everything is in tip-top shape. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a big modern washroom. Great parking situation - reasonably priced underground with easy in-and-out access using your room key. I'd stay here again.

Spotless hotel. Very clean. Gym is one of the best I've been to at a hotel. Breakfast is expensive with very limited options. I found that parking instructions was not very clear when I arrived. I proceeded down to the garage just like the Hilton next door but with the Marriot you had to check in first to get the key. Wish this was a bit clearer. Not many walkable areas to amenities near by

There was a strong smell in the bathroom which was coming from the shower curtain. Notified the front desk, but they did not have any spare curtains (unacceptable from a name like Marriott). Staff did not notify the next incoming front desk personnel. Had to talk to the Manager next day to get it changed. This is the job of the room cleaners to make sure that there is no smell in the room and that it's clean for the next customer.

Upon checking in we noticed the bedding had a stain on it and needed to be changed. Also there was a problem with the television and the channels were not working. Small inconveniences but made the stay less than desirable.

The only knock was the shower. With only half a glass door and some of the water spraying holes facing the wrong way we had to wipe down the floor every time we had a shower. Then we had to hunt down housekeeping for dry towels and a bath mat.

I liked the room, they clean and oick up my garbage everyday. Provided and replaced the used towels daily. Replenished my coffee supply. Wish they provide water. my only issue is the shower door its built-in half door is annoying. water comes out of the shower and its alwaysvwet, you will need towels to dry it out. other than that everything is ok 👍

The only issue wa lack of streaming on tv and no guide explanation as to what shows were on. Excellent t staff and housekeeping is incredible.

they put charges on me around 70$ when i check out when i ask they said we put because we couldn't find hairdryer in your room and which i didn't even pick i used it and left in washroom then i check the bill on bill it says smoke free charges while enquiring they said we are going to put 500$ but we put on 70$ they just putting charges without any explanation worst service ever not recommended to go there

My stay here was not pleasant. I managed to get zero sleep for the four nights I stayed here. The walls are extremely thin, and everything can be heard from the other rooms. On my second night a fire alarm forced us out of the building, where we waited with no communication from staff about what to do or the status of the alarm. The elevators were shut down and we sat in the lobby, but no fire personnel arrived. After 45 minutes I finally asked if we could go back up, and was told yes, but with no other information. The elevators were still shut down so I took the stairs to the fifth floor. On my final night there was a domestic dispute between drunk patrons in the room beside mine. I called the emergency number on the phone and received no answer. I went downstairs to inform the staff, only to be told "yeah we've had problems with them before and had to call the police." I asked what they were going to do this time and was told they would call their manager. After an hour or so of shouting, swearing, banging on the door, and a woman screaming for security, the police finally showed up. This hotel is a nightmare. I will never stay here again, for sure, and likely will not choose Marriot if there are any other options available.

WE were driving to the hotel when we received a phone call from the hotel, telling us that Expedia and other on-line reservations sites had sent them more customers than they had rooms. Our reservation was void. As a result we scrambled to find another hotel room - and found a C level room, not what we had become accustom to.

Very clean and modern property. Pool and sauna were fabulous. Loved that check-out was at noon. I did not like the fact though that there was only 2 tea bags in our room when we checked in as 3 guests! I counted 5 coffee pouches however. We are a family of tea drinkers and don't drink coffee at all! When I inquired at the front desk to obtain a few more tea bags (enough for our tea before bedtime and morning tea), I was directed to the bar area where no one employee was present or showed up. Come on...where is the love for tea drinkers. I also left my swimsuit behind when checking out of the hotel. I called the same night to see what arrangements I could make to get my swimsuit back if it was found and someone was to call me back. No one ever called back. I called again the next day and again the day after and no one ever got back to me. They would simply take my information down with zero follow-up. If it were not for the tea issue and bad customer service, I would give the hotel a 10 on 10, but because of those issues, I give it a 6 on 10.

Fire alarm went off middle of night. Good fire alarm worked, not so good absolutely no information was given in a structural manner to guests. Guests had to guess it was a false alarm and go back to their rooms after 30-40 minutes.

There isn't much to do around the hotel. If you are driving and use their underground parking, be prepared it is very tight. Downtown and St Catherine St is a distance away so a car or uber are needed.

The staff was very nice. But the hotel was understaffed. There was only one person at the bar. And this person was responsible for bringing food and drinks to everyone. We waited close to an hour both times for food. The food was good but didnt come with the sides described in the menu (like guacamole with the quesadilla, they gave a side of mayo instead). The elevator didn’t work. It was never fixed. There were no signs anywhere telling people where to go or what to do regarding the elevator. No discount offered. I had to keep telling people waiting by the elevator that it didn't work. I kept having to go to the front desk to have someone open the service elevator. I asked for a quiet room. They put me right by the highway . Had to go back to reception to get a new room in the back. Would never go back.

Note that if you get in late there is no food. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Only stayed for one night. It was some distance from the airport on a dark street.
