Old Town Boutique Hotel

숙박시설의 위치와 시설은 그럭저럭 괜찮은데 주차시설이 없네요. 다행히 부쿠레슈티는 시내 여러곳에 일 / 30 lei 주차가 가능하여 주차는 해결했습니다. 방음이 안되는것도 조금 단점이네요.

Hotel on outskirts of Old town. Quite close to main road. Rooms were nice. Staff not particularly visible. Not particularly great if mobility is limited as stairs up to reception area and lift.

Very nice property, with friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was good, the restaurant has very good prices, as we decided to have dinner there too. The rooms are clean, not too spacious though. As a negative, the elevator has an odd design and it stops in between floors, so be cautious if you come with lots of luggage, you can't avoid stairs.

The location is excellent, and the hotel restaurant is a big bonus—great food and reasonable prices. The only downside is that it doesn't have easy access. When you arrive, you have to go up several stairs, and there's no handrail for support. So, if you're carrying a lot of luggage, it might not be the best option. It's also not a hotel that's accessible for people with disabilities.

Right in the heart of Old Town. Nice location, ok hotel room. However, there were no towels in the room and getting to the elevator with the luggage was a challenge as it is a long flight of stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was in a great location on the edge of the old town so you can easily walk to all attractions but on a quiet street so it’s not noisy at night despite the nearby bars and clubs. Our double room was huge and actually had 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. With a great view of city/manuc inn. Shower good. They provide shower gel. Staff were friendly enough but kept to themselves. We appreciated the free water in reception but didn’t have the breakfast as felt like you could get something cheaper elsewhere so can’t comment on that. No issues at all and would recommend anyone to stay there. Please note, it’s next to the old town restaurant so the entrance isn’t very obvious. You have to go up some steep steps but once inside there is a lift. If you are getting taxis, we found the closest pick up to be Piata Roma square. It’s like a minute’s walk from there. Great price and stay.

Great room, clean bathroom. Great location with loads of restaurants and bars right on the square. Would stay again. A room safe would be good!

Aufenthalt nach einem Tag vorzeitig beendet. Wir hatten uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, aufgrund den Parkplätzen in der Beschreibung von Expedia. Es gibt keine und wir mussten 1h einen Suchen. Das Hotelzimmer war nicht sauber, genauso wenig wie das Badezimmer. Am schlimmsten war der ständige Geruch von Kanal im Zimmer. Zudem hatten wir Scharben aufn Balkon. Nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption und der Hotelbesitzerin wurde uns versichert, dass wir über Expedia das Geld für eine Nacht zurückerstattet bekommen. Expedia hat sich an das Hotel gewendet, jedoch keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Somit wurden wir übers Ohr gehauen und Expedia weigert sich weitere Schritt zu unternehmen, da Sie keine Zeit haben dem Hotel hinterher zu rennen. Lediglich ein Gutschein gibt es als Entschuldigung. Den haben wir sofort abgelehnt und werden zukünftig wieder über andere Portale buchen. Bei Expedia ist Kunde leider nicht König.

Nota negativa il fatto di dover fare una rampa di scale per arrivare alla reception, poi un altro paio di gardini prima di poter arrivare all'ascensore. Stanza e bagno abbastanza grande per essere in centro città. Zona super centrale vicino alle principali attrazioni che sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi, ottimo per gite brevi. Nella stanza in cui allogiavamo l'aspiratore del bagno non funzionava.

Excellent location and very helpful and friendly staff. The bedrooms are a good size but no window. No robes, no tea making facilities, no glass or water which I believe are basic requirements in a hotel these days. However, the hotel location and price made it a decent place to stay

This hotel is well and worthily recommended. Bedrooms are bright, clean and well furnished. Toilet and shower spotless. Staff, without exception, are very friendly and helpful. A family run business. We totally enjoyed a weeks stay at the hotel and would return without hesitation should we return to the Old Town of Bucharest. Thank you Old Town Boutique

Very clean, perfect location, right at the old town, quiet, Near to busses to and from airport.

Good location in the old town - although it’s where all the bars are we heard no noise which was good. Comfortable room. The room was clean but the shower head hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and as it was one of those rainforest showers you could see the little clogs of black. It would take someone 5mins with a scrub brush to clean (plus then the water comes down rather than spraying in various directions) Beds were comfortable, room was v warm Breakfast is 10euros each, we didn’t go for it. One off putting element was that on check in the guy (who was v nice) was asking about the trip we planned and was trying to convince us not to go on the free walking tour and to get a driver through the hotel, then to not take the train to Brasov as planned and to get a driver as it was unsafe (turned out it wasn’t) felt like we were being sold too and as we arrived at 12:30am I just wanted to check in my room. In the end i said ‘i need to go to bed now’ so i could exit the chat!

Great location for walking to tons of sites and restaurants. John at the front desk was extremely helpful with recommendations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and more spacious than expected.

Upon arrival at the old town boutique hotel the street where it is situated it very run down looking and not very inviting , went upstairs to the reception area which looked nice the man on the desk not exactly a warm welcome anyway we checked in got in out room and well it certainly is not a 4* establishment patches on the walls and it’s big patches of what looked like damp that had been washed down and not repainted , the bed sheet on the single bed had holes in it the headboards on the beds were dirty , the bathroom was actually awful hair in and around the sink the inside shower on the floor the tiles are old and worn and the grout is very dirty looking the shower head all tarnished and some of the silicone pieces missing shower door don’t close properly ,the water went from normal to scalding hot then cold not a pleasant shower at all, the toilet roll holder is all rusty and disgusting with a disgusting looking toilet brush also on it , door frame in the bathroom broken and not attached to the wall , breakfast was included well that also wasn’t very nice the hot selection was cold and had been sitting from 7.30 no lids on the hot food the coffee was luke warm from a coffee machine , I would not recommend this hotel at all I wish I could attach the photos of the bedroom and bathroom this has been for me the worst hotel I’ve stayed at !!!

Room was clean with modern furniture. All thought very small. Bathroom has a very horrible sewerage smell all the time . Couldn’t stay in there for long. Cleaners very early in the morning very loud for about a hour Sounded like they were right outside our door. We could not hear outside noise from our room . Breakfast was ok not great but did the job . Wouldn't stay here again as not keen on how small the room was and the bathroom smell and also the noisy cleaners. No outside noise from our room though

Lovely hotel in the centre of Bucharest. Very clean with decent facilities.

There was a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, the noise is people in the communal areas a but the rooms could have an upgrade to help with noice. Also at 7 on Sunday morning the cleaner was cleaning next door and she might as well been in our room. Would not recommend.

Starting off-they double charged me as I had already booked and paid through Expedia. When I realized this, they told me since the room was non-refundable they couldn’t give me a credit for the double charge. I could understand if it was a cancellation but this was a mistake on the hotels part. Next, the AC did not work and there was hair on the bed/in the sheets. The “minibar” was left open and therefore was not cold. Not sure how long it was left open. I cannot recommend staying here to anyone.

Easy to find. Right on edge of old town. Easy access to all the sights and transport. Hotel was clean and room was lovely. Great beds and good breakfast.

Ideally located in old town. Room was small but adequate. Shower was very temperamental, water temperature changed without adjusting the setting numerous times. Thin walls, was woken by noisily coming back to their room.

Great location, clean room and quiet

The hotel advertises wifi in all of the rooms but as soon as we got to our room the wifi disappears. I went and asked at reception and he just said some of the rooms don’t have wifi which is ridiculous. It is also advertised as having wifi in all rooms. There’s also a lot of stairs in between the lifts including a big staircase to get to reception and the lift which is inconvenient. There was also a lot of drilling and noise throughout the day. Room is cramped.

Nice clean room with robe, slippers and toiletries. However, the thin duvet that barely covered the bed and a lot of external noise, did not aid sleeping.

Property is on the edge of the no car zone. There was a taxi rank 1 minuet walk from the hotel so this was nice. Enjoyed our stay, room was small but great for a weekend break. Had everything you needed.

The location of the hotel is just great. Unfortunately some of the staff wasn't very friendly. The aircondition didn't work properly and the fridge in the minibar not at all.

Very noisy when trying to sleep, can hear everything in the rooms. The room I had had no opening windows. Staff are not really that interested

It’s a great location on the edge of the old town and does look a little run down though feels safe. It’s a lovely hotel in itself though we stayed for five nights and every single night we were disturbed until midnight at least by what sounded like tables scraping across the floor nearby ? In the hotel itself or a neighbouring property. It sounded like it was in the hotel and was dreadful trying to sleep.

Great location in the old town, close to all the key sights plus a multitude of restaurants, bars and shops. A special shout-out to the hotel's incredibly helpful staff, who lent me an adaptor when mine broke and also arranged for me to have a packed breakfast one morning when I was doing a day trip which necessitated a very early start.

Amazing hospitality! Staff went above and beyond. Great area of Old Town, everything was accessible but it wasn’t in the middle of the bars and clubs so it was quiet at night.

Great stay. Ideal location for exploring the city. Lovely room super clean. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Didnt book breakfast so cant comment but it is in the restaurant next door. Would 100% recommend 5*

unfortunately they published a room they didn't have and had no other room to accomodate us. we sat in the lobby looking for a room by phone untill 3am when we found one at a hotel nearby. but they still took our payment from expedia, and we're still waiting for the refund expedia promised us.

The staff was so incredibly helpful. I wish I had gotten the main young lady’s name but she went out of her way to help us. We were there for a wedding and didn’t have a card, she happened to have one in her personal belongings that she gave us. We were also going to other parts of the country and coming back to fly out of Bucharest and she allowed me to leave my luggage there for four days! I was blown away by the hospitality!

The stay was okay not the best booked queen bed and got given small double then we asked to move rooms to bigger bed they moved us then we went to new room witch had queen bed but had a small double blanket so we asked for another blanket and they give it to us but said you can make it your self and also it says luxury bedding definitely wasn’t poor quality the hotel was really hot and ac didn’t work it was very loud from other people staying and partying in room so we rang reception to ask them to speak to them so we went back to bed 10 minutes later the receptionist knocked the door and told us no one was making noise why did we ring very un professional we understand they can’t help people parting but other hotels I’ve stayed they have sorted the problem straight away

Lite, greit hotell med meget sentral beliggenhet i forhold til gamlebyen og offentlig transport. Greie rom og ok frokost. Dessverre var noen av betjeningen svært uforskammet og ignorante.

Our stay was not good at all. No stair to the lobby, our room wasn’t clean and the towels were dirty. The stuff wasn’t helpful.

prenotato e pagato dal 9 al 13 aprile con Expedia. Il check in è stato effettuato in ritardo alle 05:00 del 10 (causa sciopero voli), ma comunque inviato sms alle 09:30 e chiamato alle 18:00 del giorno 9 per avvisare del ritardo. Arriviamo alle 05:00 del mattino il portiere di notte ci assegna provvisoriamente una camera che non era assolutamente equivalente e non pulita(sporca). Non accettiamo e ritorniamo nella hall dove siamo rimaste fino alle 09:00 su 2 poltrone. Nel mentre arriva l'impiegato che si scusa e conferma che la notte sarà rimborsata per il disagio creato. Bene....alle 09:10 prendiamo possesso della camera prenotata, ma devo dire che il seguito non è stato piacevole, asciugamani non cambiati, letto mai rifatto ma semplicemente ricoperto, riscaldamento in camera non funzionante se non in bagno (con all'esterno -1 grado). Il rimborso del 9 non è stato mai effettuato e siamo state prese in giro e sballottate tra impiegati. Non è il rimborso della notte... ma la poca anzi inesistente attenzione al cliente assegnandoci provvis. quella camera sporca e il seguito, che ha fatto sorgere la questione rimborso.

Great hotel in an excellent location

Great location in old town. In the walking part of the city. Close to drop off. You can’t get to the door with the car. Very good ratio price to qualify.

I had a great stay here, its clean and the bed was comfortable. The fittings will prob need updating sometime soon but it wasnt falling apart by any means. The location is the best thing about this hotel, within the edge of the old town but still really peaceful (in the old town you have to be careful w some hotels above bars as the music pumps at the w/end). Breakfast isnt so exciting, its pretty basic but does the job.

Fint hotell på en lagomt central del av gamla stan. Promenadavstånd till Calea victoriei och flera fina sevärdheter. Det enda negativa var att frukosten var lite tråkig. Vi åkte dit i början av maj så det är möjligt att den är bättre på sommaren när det är fler gäster men nu var den inget att hurra för. Det som skulle vara varmt var kallt/ljummet och brödet var rätt torrt. Vi hade också problem med ACn men temperaturen höll sig bra ändå

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and clean rooms of a good size. Staff helpful. Not many options for breakfast - toast, eggs, sausage, ham, cheese, small croissants, apples, oranges and plain yoghurt. It's a great location and plenty of restaurants within a short walk.

The hotel was in a central location in the Old Town, although well connected to public transport. The rooms, although small were well appointed, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good in the restaurant below the hotel.
