Friendly staff. The room was fine, it was dated and could use some updating. The lock on the door didn’t work so I put a chair up against it. The balcony railing was very wobbly, but great views. Breakfast was okay, not a large selection and a small seating area. The parking was terrible. I ended up parking on the street.

The location is great. Parking is terrible. There isn't enough seating for breakfast. The man at the front desk in the morning is very helpfull and knowledgeable of the area and what to see. Our deadbolt was broken as well as the little swing latch which we reported after we checked in. We were staying for 4 nights and were told someone would be up the next day to fix it. On the 3rd day we were good that someone had been up to look at it and talked to us about it. I don't know what room they went to but it wasn't ours. Anyway the lock was never fixed. There isn't any air in the room so luckily we had a ceiling fan that helped. Like i mentioned the location is great and the view is wonderful.

Our rooms were old, dirty and dingy. We didn’t sleep under the covers of the bed, dust and grime everywhere. We turned on the ceiling fan to air out the room and noticed a thick film of dust and who knows what else it was.

The room had an excellent view of the water however the place needed updating and cleaning. The toilet seat was loose and wobbly. Chairs were dirty. Beds were fine. Despite the facility being non-smoking, pot smoke was coming through the ventilation. Two calls made to the front desk without improvement in conditions.

Pictures made the rooms look in much better shape than they are. Room seemed clean, and you could smell the cleaner. But the couch was stained, and the bathroom needs some major updates. Toilet was very low to the ground, shower curtain bar looked like it was going to fall off the wall, the shower head had horrible pressure, and the “hot” water never got past warm temp. Wish I would have looked closer at the pictures - it is not right on the ocean like I thought and we couldn’t hear the waves crashing. The front desk lady was very kind and efficient upon check in. The location was great. Parking lot is difficult in a big vehicle. We wouldn’t stay here again.

The beds were so uncomfortable. The rooms are outdated. No water pressure in one sink, second sink soaked me because it sprays with excessive pressure. Poor shower pressure and inconsistent temperature. The carpet was damp, like in the entire room, so odd. Check-in was easy and employee was nice. Location is convenient for our trip. Overall, wouldn’t ever stay here again.

The room was clean, and the staff was really friendly. However, even with the overhead fan and the door open it was a little warm at night when I was trying to sleep. Air conditioning would've been better for rooms that face the sun during sunset. Also, the cable/satellite service that they use went out and I was two days without television. At the end of my day, I like to unwind with a little bit of TV. In the mornings, I like to get my market updates via business news networks and I had to watch all that on my little phone, which Isn't very convenient. Other than that, the place is a decent place to stay. And for the price one really can't complain.

Our stay at Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel had some excellent features and a few not so good. Starting with the good: the location is excellent with easy access to the beach including access to the blue mobi-mat for access for my wife using her walker, Mo's Seafood restaurant is right next door in easy walking distance, the view from our balcony was amazing with views of the bay with seals sunning themselves or active in the water during high tide, the room itself was spacious with lots of places to store our things, the staff was very friendly and helpful. On the negative side: the continental breakfast was very sparse, the room furnishings were old and scarred, the bathroom was cramped and the shower head not that great, and the sound insulation was such that we could hear every step made in the room above us. Overall the good outweighs the bad and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

It is an old property that they are trying to update, but the furnishings are out of date, the curtain was full of holes, and the overall experience was disappointing. We did stay 2 nights out of convenience, but I would not choose to stay there again.

The breakfast was very average, the rooms were old and need updating very badly! The outdoor balcony chairs were rusted and moldy. My husband and I woke up with very bad backaches and my neck was aching as well! The best thing and only part that I like of the whole stay with the view and location! Please update your rooms and fix the rooms a bit better and I bet you would have more luck.

I'm not sure why, karma or something, but we got put in a room directly across the busy, echoing, narrow hallway from the ice machine. It was a hot day and evening, so busy and noisy up till about 11:00 PM. The room was very nicely decorated but still just a generic hotel room. The bathroom was a postage stamp (the toilet made for grade schoolers, low and too-small seat), BUT there was a large double sink/counter outside the bathroom. That was lovely. The TV was a largish flat screen and worked well. The front counter staff was wonderful and friendly, smooth check-in and out. The room was spotless and did not smell of cleaning products like so many do. We had a balcony which had a great view, but people like to make campfires on the beach in the evening, so we had lots of smoke -- had to close the sliding glass door. Wished there had been another source of fresh air but no AC or just plain air vents in the room. Got stuffy. There was a ceiling fan with one speed - super fast. A bit much for sleeping. Beds were comfy, nice linens but pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Bath linens were plentiful and of nice quality. Overall, it was between okay and good. This was our first stay at Siletz Beachfront and we are not likely to stay there again, even though it has a great location, right next door to the wonderful Mo's Seafood restaurant.

Amazing stay on the beach! We an upgrade king room with an ocean view and balcony, and it did not disappoint. It was so fun to watch the tide come in and out of the bay, the birds, and all the people enjoying the beach. Because it is tucked into the bay a little bit, it seemed like there was less wind on the balcony. The room was huge and very comfortable. Slept with the balcony doors open for that fresh ocean breeze.

Understand before you book. The lobby is closed from 7a-10p every day. There is no way to call the hotel directly without using the cockamamie phone tree OYO has set up. Be sure you have your booking number. Type it in correctly the first time, or you will be immediately disconnected and have to start over again. A Hotels.com reservation number does not work. You will have to call hotels.com to have them call the property. This is an old beachfront motel. It is not fancy. The two times I went to the front desk, including my check-in, I was greeted with a message that said back in five minutes. The person I dragged my bags past while she sat and smoked while watching me happened to be the front desk person. She definitely finished her smoke before attending to any guests. She reeked of cigarettes. The rooms are dingy, the table tops are warped and damaged, and a hose outside would have been a better shower. The photos do not do this property justice.

This hotels front desk closes at 10 PM and Hotels.com website did not mention this. I received a voicemail while driving that I did not see until I got there. I tried calling and going in and was unable to! Both hotels.com and I have called several times for a refund and this hotel never calls back!

This is my second time staying in one of the Jacuzzi suites. The one that I stayed in this time was a little smaller, but just perfect. Everything was nice and clean checking in was a breeze the Nice lady at the front desk was very accommodating as was the nice lady that worked later in the evening answered my questions. I was a little disappointed at checkout as the manager was working and was not very receptive. He was kind of Kirt and well kind of rude. Sort of put a damper on my stay. I will be back, but I do want to express how his demeanor just sort of soured everything. Everything else was immaculate and perfect. Also, the continental breakfast that is offered in the morning was delicious. I tried one of the waffles this time and it was amazing. Found lots of nice rocks on the beach at low tide and got to see all the fishermen out there fishing for the king salmon coming in. I will be back.

Staff: The ONLY reason this stay is not listed as terrible is the staff are super friendly and the location is right on the beach. I honestly feel bad for the staff trying to do everything they can to help, but there was not a single person who I saw that did not have issues overall. Was charged in advance even though I selected pay at hotel, which 100% is a horrible business practice and the most common complaint I am finding. The property charged my card a day in advance without authorization, and when I asked why they blamed hotels.com and stated they did it, even though that was not the case. The room we stayed in should not be rented under any circumstances. Carpet was torn, what appears to be mold in the corners, and old torn up furnishings. I would sleep in my car before staying at an OYO property again based solely off poor business practices and then lying about it. There are so many bad reviews about business practices when you look up OYO in general that I am baffled as to how they are still on Hotels.com? Truly feel bad for staff working there as they were good and tried to help. Having used hotels.com for a long time I now question using them going forward based off this one stay.

The location is what we love about this place. As far as I know every room has a beautiful view. This property has pet friendly rooms which are also really important to us. Please remember if bringing a pet to not leave it alone in your room, because the pet might make noise and bother other tenants. Our room had a balcony which was just wonderful for viewing the Siletz Bay. They have a continental breakfast with coffee and waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, etc. The breakfast area is very small and if I were to change anything I would put in smaller tables with two chairs each and just one table with four chairs to make it so more people can fit and it is more comfortable to dine. The Siletz Bay is beautiful, watching the tide go out and come back in is fascinating. It's a short walk to the ocean, and the beach there is long.

The best part of this property was the view outside the window. The building is old, but the room was clean. Breakfast was very basic, although they had really good lactose free yogurt option. It was great to wake up early and go for a walk on the beach. You can watch the seals playing across the bay and collect some agates!

Loved the location and the friendly staff. Beds were comfy and clean. I enjoyed the ceiling fan in our room and it seemed as though the property was newly painted. Furniture was old but serviceable. Breakfast was limited but enough to get you on your way (individual wrapped bagels and muffins, cream cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, and juices along with waffle maker which we didn’t try).

Older property but the location can’t be beat! You are right on the beach! Beds in the room are super comfy! Breakfast is good with choices of waffles, bagels, English muffins, fruit and yogurt. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and quick to check in and out!

Loved the location and the view!! The room was fine, but showing its age. The breakfast is just okay - waffles, cereal, bagels, yogurt - no protein and few places to sit. My biggest complaint was being called several times in the days before we stayed to confirm the reservation. Also didn’t like the emphasis on not checking in early without an additional fee. That’s just a courtesy (if the room is ready) in most motels.
