The pool and hot tub were so chlorinated that when you entered your eyes would burn and you would start coughing. It was quite unfortunate because that was the sole reason for our visit.

We stayed here for a dance competition. The hotel was nice. Each bed had 4 pillows. The carpet in the rooms was soft & it didnt feel like you were standing on concrete. The doors of the rooms are really loud when they shut. The gym was nice. The servers at breakfast were really nice. The only thing we wish we could’ve enjoyed was the pool & hot tub. Unfortunately, there were about 10 boys in the pool screaming at the top of their lungs & it was too loud. You couldnt even talk to the person next to you without yelling. The pool & hot tub looked nice though.

Nicely appointed, newer HI property. Ample free parking, nice restaurant/ lounge on site. In a newer part of town, not in historic downtown or near river, but very nearby a nice variety of dining options. Would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very nice and easy to talk to. The pool was a slight issue. It was so full of chlorine every person in our entire group of 20+ people had a hard time breathing. The kids walked out of the pool room coughing and the scent of chlorine burned all of our eyes. The only other smaller complaint I have is that we attempted to have the breakfast (which is over priced and all the same things are free at other hotels), however, they were out of plates and none came in a timely manner so we went for fast food. Though I am writing of the negative things, I would absolutely come back because of how clean it was and how friendly the staff was.

Our family has stayed here multiple times. Property is now run down. Won't be staying again. Hot tub out of order, pool area with towels, equipment all over the floor and a briken door. Likely from sloppy guests. Will not be staying again.

The property exceeded our expectations. Although it was our initial stay there, we were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the accommodations were particularly noteworthy. The front desk staff, especially the individual I spoke with this morning regarding a late checkout request, demonstrated exceptional courtesy and professionalism. We will undoubtedly choose this establishment again for future stays.

Check in went fine. Usually this chain has continental breakfast or such included, but not the case here. Chose a room with a fridge for that purpose since we had a quick morning turnaround, but a microwave would’ve been appreciated in the room. My mistake for just assuming there would be, as previous experiences at other locations had microwaves in conjunction with a fridge. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

My daughter arrived at the hotel to find out she couldn’t check in because she was not 21. She was 20 years old and taking my younger daughter on a tour of St ambrose University. I paid for my room using Expedia. The property took my credit card for "incidentals" and then charged me for the room. I discovered this when reviewing my credit card statement! I will not likely stay here in the future. I did stay here in 2022 and had to repeatedly call to get the charge for "incidentals" reversed from my card. Kind of shady in my opinion.

Hotel was newer so modern. Most front desk staff were amazing! There was one who I’m hoping was just having a bad night - we needed pool towels and she was not nice or helpful. Restaurant seemed overwhelmed with guests and not enough servers - servers were very nice and I felt bad.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn. Easy to find and lots of shopping nearby. We brought a group of people and everyone stated they had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful leading up to our stay and Brian provided us with awesome customer service. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel itself is gorgeous looking inside and out! Loved how nice and clean the room was. The breakfast wasn’t the best though as the food was pretty meh. Don’t like the fact we can’t get our own drinks and waited forever for refills. We will definitely stay there again next year but will pass on paying extra for the breakfast.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The customer service was excellent and everyone was helpful. The only downside was that the food at the J Bar was not good and the hot tub was not hot enough. Other than that, we would stay there again when visiting family again.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. What I didn't like is, we paid for a breakfast buffet that was pretty much what other hotels offer free of charge. Nothing special about the food offerings for $12.99 a person. My daughter and her family stayed at another hotel nearby and received more food offerings and was free.
