We really enjoyed our stay at Billini Hotel. The rooftop pool was wonderful and the staff was kind and helpful. Our room was on the first floor, right off the courtyard, which made it a little noisy at times, but overall we enjoyed our stay immensely. We recommend staying here for its great location, amenities, and friendly staff.

Everything was very good but our arrival and first evening was ruined by this small boutique hotel being taken over by a wedding party denying us the opportunity to dine there on what was a wet night outside. Guests must be told in advance of such events so they can find peace and tranquility elsewhere.

A beautiful hotel, in a great location with a great bilingual staff (and if you need to use and practice your Spanish…they’ll work with you and joke about it). They were very accommodating, answered emails prior to my arrival (get the VIP and taxi service at the airport if you want a smooth inbound experience) and were welcoming. I got upgraded to one of the main floor suites, which was really spacious. I had to be up early, so hearing them set up breakfast in the adjoining space didn’t bother me…it’s a smaller hotel, a more intimate setting with less guests…it wasn’t above and beyond noisy. The room was super chilly which I love and need to sleep well, and it was relaxing to wake up to the birds in the AM. The only thing I noticed and grossed me out was some foundation/makeup on the wall & some spots on the floor (in the room & bathroom) and I found a previous guest’s credit card receipt along the bed and bed frame when I was packing to check out. So my only suggestion would to take a little more care making sure everything is cleaned up after a guest checks out

I love the Billini Hotel. The rooms are spotless and the building is beautiful, steeped in Dominican history. The entire staff is very professional, the food is excellent, and the reception staff is wonderful, always willing to make your stay a wonderful experience, taking advantage of everything this incredible place has to offer. Walking around the city's colonial center is very beautiful and safe.

Not all the terrace rooms are the same. Mine was right next to a walkway to one of the restaurants and had little privacy. Overall a very nice room though. Loved the bluetooth speaker! North americans may be surprised by the little water pressure in the shower.

El hotel está bien ubicado, sin embargo el aire no sirve solo hay ventilador loq hace q el cuarto sea un sauna, no hay ningún bloqueo de sonido, se escucha desde los platos de la cafetería q es en la pb hasta la gente q transita en los corredores, la terraza no tiene servicio, subí estuve por 15 min y nadie apareció, había un matrimonio en la cafetería lo q hacía difícil pasar hacia la recepción q estaba en el camino, el personal muy atento pero las instalaciones todas viejas, no justifica el precio en lo absoluto

El hotel es muy lindo, la habitación muy cómoda y amplia, aunque tenía en el techo una entrada de luz natural que no dejaba dormir muy bien. El servicio es lo único a mejorar. Horas para recibir atención, estuve los 3 días pidiendo las toallas de la piscina y nunca llegaron, en el bar y restaurante igual muy demorados en todo. El personal es amable, pero no ejecutan ni resuelven con prontitud. El desayuno muy completo, buenas opciones y con mimosas incluidas. Otro problema es el ruido, en las habitaciones se escucha todo; además la primea noche hubo un matrimonio en todo el centro del hotel; y la segunda noche un evento en la terraza de la piscina, lo que me pareció horrible es que siendo un área común, la cerraron para este evento privado y no se podía usar la piscina en toda la tarde. Otra cosa es que hubo una pelea entre unos huéspedes y el personal del hotel, tuvo que llegar la policía y cerraron la calle. La huésped alegaba que le habían robado su cartera en el hotel. Si buscan tranquilidad y buen servicio, ese no es el lugar.

The hotel is very nice and the first impression when you get there is excellent. However, as we had experiences with the service, like requests for towels, we started sensing weaknesses. I am not sure if I would stay there again, or will go back to Nicolás de Ovando, our usual hotel in the colonial zone.

Since we arrived, the staff outside at valet and the staff at the front desk were exceptional. Victor did our check in and he couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating. The property itself is beautiful with an excellent location and a very historic past. All the staff at the bars and during breakfast were outstanding and so incredibly polite and friendly!. My stay couldn’t have been more pleasant and it was really due to the amazing staff. I hope the Administration takes notice and truly appreciates its wonderful staff!. We will definitely return!!!.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic district with easy access to all the main attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything I needed. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay - there were so many delicious options to choose from, and I looked forward to it every morning. Overall it was a great hotel. The pizza and coffee shot next door are good. Breakfast was good. I had some problems with my room at check in they did not have the room I reserved but they showed me a few rooms and I picked one that was comparable, but it was a little frustrating after a long flight. I recommend staying here. It’s very centrally located.

What I like the most of my staying was the staff and how comfortable they made me feel. The cleanliness of the hotel and its amenities. The hotel is located at a very convenient location where its surroundings is full of other options as far as, restaurants and bars. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. One downside is no breakfast and their buffet option is too expensive for its selection.

Great hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not like that they had a wedding in the main area. Could not come or go without having to walk right through the middle of the wedding ceremony and they need to have ironing board and iron in the rooms.
