The room was located right on top of the bar area where a band was playing till 11.00pm. So couldn’t really get sleep before my event the next day. The room was hot and no aircon meant a restless sleep. The window was close to the main road and there people out on the street till early morning. The water stopped working at 10.30pm. We had not water to the room. Could be the storm causing issues with pumps. It was resolved by the morning.

I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, very central to everything in Rotorua (restaurants, nationwide bus stop, etc). The furnishings are a bit dated which gives the interior a slightly tired feel but the facilities are clean and well cared for. The internet speed impressed me and I was able to work remotely, including uploading/downloading large files.
