Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Bensalem

I am a diabetic, and we had no refrigerator in our room for my insulin. There was a spot for one and there was just a bucket.. facility is under construction and seemed disjointed.

Room had hole in wall,there was old fruit on the floor when we arrived in our room, the satff wasn't very welcoming, my reservation said complementary breakfast which they did not have complementary breakfast. The pool was out of order. Probably would not revisit unless received confirmation all these issues have been resolved.

Everything was good, except for the restaurant, not open for service. The restaurant was the one thing I wanted in my stay and it was offered on the website and the reason for my selecting your location.

I stay here routinely for work4 times in the past 6 months. It has been under construction for a long time. The staff is not accomodating and act like they are being bothered. Amenities are always closed and off limits. Noise and construction early in the am.

Pros: Great location, Clean, serves Starbucks coffee, friendly barista. Cons: seemed short staffed (was over the Christmas holiday). minimal breakfast menu pool and hot tub were closed for service. While our towels, toilet paper, soaps needed attention, the staff did deliver prompt service when asked. When asked, they also provided extra bedding for the pullout couch. We booked a room with 2 Queens and pullout bed for our family. The extra space in the corner room was nice.

The staff was excellent. I called about whether the pool and hot tub were working after seeing a review from December saying it was under maintenance. My best friend and i were there for a concert,having flown in from Canada, but had 3 nights booked so finding out after check in, that neither the pool or hot tub would be working during our stay was very disappointing. I would have booked a different hotel if i had known, because i paid a pretty high price for such a basic hotel...almost 1500 for 3 nights. Not impressed.

Nice accommodations & friendly staff but a few mix-ups with the bar staying open & breakfast service for a wedding party.

Great clean hotel however the pool was out of service for our entire stay (3days). Front desk receptionist was nice. No issue with check in or check out. Would stay here again.

I expected a full service restaurant on the premises however there was a restaurant a short walk across the parking lot.

First, they couldn't check me in because their computers were down. Then, after a long hassle they got me checked in. I went to my room and found my lights were flickering on and off, the room was filthy, and I found pubic hair in my shower. I went to the front to demand a refund, but the manager just avoided me. He, from his back office also refused to refund me for my stay that cost me $230 for the most disgusting place I have ever been to. Finally after 30 minutes of being avoided i said to the manager that I would appreciate it if he would come out and speak with me or I would show the other customers that were waiting for 30+ minutes to check in the pictures I took of the room. I was then threatened by one of the employees at the front desk, and then by the manager also. The only person that had any type of hospitality there was a lady named Laura at the front desk. It felt quite like racism, and I am white. It actually felt more like the hotel was run by a gang. I am still battling to get my money back from them, but they are still refusing to refund me. This place should be removed from your list of places to stay. It is filthy and it may be the worst treatment I have ever received at a hotel, especually a Marriot.

The front desk staff are very helpful and professional and wore masks. Very disappointed that during a pandemic, the guests are not required to wear masks. (Lobby was FULL of people not wearing masks.) The facility is basically clean, but the bathroom door was covered with dirty handprints all around the inside door handle. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast food was awful, BUT the staff in the bistro area were very hard-working and were very pleasant to deal with. Hotel was full of parents and kids on travel sports teams, so not very quiet.

The property was nice. Staff was friendly. Found a lot of hair in the bathroom so it could have been cleaner.

Beds NOT comfortable, kids running wild at all hours, check in staff made a point to tell me no security and drug addicts often drift in to the lobby bathroom-Will NOT stay here again

The service was excellent and the facility was very clean. Unfortunately, the bed was too firm, so I did not get a good night of rest. My travel companion thought the same about the beds.

Have stayed here many times, room was comfortable, asked for a quiet room and got one at the end of the corridor facing the back of the building and It was perfect.

Properties were beautiful. Room was satisfactory. A/C was not functioning properly. We had a conference room and while the catered food was good, we were not provided with an adequate amount of water throughout the day.

The hotel's system was down upon our arrival, but MICHELE at the front desk provided EXCELLENT service when we eventually were able to check-in. She changed our room with no hassle as our daughter joined us during our stay. We will stay their again for sure!

Excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating from front desk to restaurant. Over and above, opened a meeting room to show a non televised Thursday Night football game for guests.

desk front so bad

I have stayed at this hotel before and hate to leave a bad review as I do like it but this time I had a situation that I feel they could have handled better. The day after arrival I came to my room to find it had not been serviced, I did not pay it much mind and just called front desk to tell them and ask to have trash removed as I had some small boxes,they took them and I gave them a tip next day I arrived to my room at 7 pm, again the room had not been cleaned, again I called front dest, no apology or explanation just came to collect trash again and nothing else. Third day the came in and changed towels but did not make bed! I decided to check out to an airport hotel as I had early flight next day even though I had pre payed for another day. At check out I mention nicely all this to the young man there to let them know and he just looked at me like he could care less and said nothing, the manager who was close by did ask me what happened and she was shocked as she did see I had called and nothing was done. She was very nice and offered me points but honestly just the apology was what I not needed but appreciated.

This is a decent hotel (clean and new) in an otherwise not so good area.

Location is perfect for the things we like to due in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

This property is perfect if you are going to the casino! This is my second time staying and I would stay again.

We stayed here for a performance at Parx so we didn't have to drive nearly 2 hours back home, and could have a few drinks. We're glad that the property was actually worth the 5 stars we gave it, so we didn't have to Uber too far either. Would totally stay here again if there's a performance there that we want to see.

We were at the hotel for one night to attend a funeral. Our room was stylish and seemed newly refurbished; the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. Due to our long drive and late arrival, we ate dinner in the Bistro. The food was good. All the staff were welcoming, helpful, and efficient. In the morning, we had a problem with our breakfast coupon. The manager, Michelle, handled the situation beautifully. Would highly recommend this property.

Great area, clean and nice rooms. However, breakfast is not free. Its a Starbucks and you have to pay for just like any other Starbucks. Why am i paying $300/night and have to pay for break fast?! Due to this, I probably will never stay there again.

I didn’t like that Expedia’s rate was so high. When I got their I saw the room I stayed in listed at almost 1/2 the price I paid. I’m addition I paid for a breakfast buffet but sight doesn’t offer that. Instead I had the same meal every morning. Options were really cheap for what was being paid.

I love that this hotel is right next to the casino and since the Inn is closed it is the perfect option. Do not order Starbucks as that part is not good but the food is good for breakfast.

My family of 5 (3 kids) stayed here for one night. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful and easily approached. The facility was beautiful and clean. We loved the pool and hot tub as well as the Bistro area for food and drinks. The hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants. We would recommend to anyone and definitely stay again.
