Comfort Inn Mount Pleasant - Racine

Clean - nice shower - bed was comfy. Staff very friendly. No nasty smell in the room. The key to the room actually worked.. breakfast had a great assortment of foods. Why isn't there a choice of your travel companion of husband or wife? I don't particularly care for the word Partner.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was not very clean. I found multiple hairs in the bed, looked like a sauce packet spilled all over the floor by the nightstand, used toilet paper, desk dirty, and light fixtures grubby.

So to get this out of the gate: I am far from picky when it comes to hotels. I obviously don't want a run down, bug infested place, but I also do not need 5-star amenities to be satisfied. With that being said, I took a small 5 day vacation to Racine to get away from life and work. I chose Comfort Inn because they offered free parking, free breakfast, and had large televisions in the rooms (something I wanted in a hotel). My room was clean when I arrived, the staff were friendly, and the free breakfast was nice. It wasn't the best I've seen, but it's free and it was enough for me (and they have Chobani yogurt, the only brand I eat). For all of this, the price was perfect (roughly $100 per night). I was quite satisfied with my stay and plan on staying here again when I return to Racine this summer for another small vacation. If you need a clean, comfortable hotel, Comfort Inn is most likely the best you'll find at this price point. Oh, the work out area is meh. Basically a treadmill and one machine, but that isn't really very important to me. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Room could use some upgrades- I noticed a nail sticking out of the wall in the bathroom (by the tub). The staff was VERY friendly though.
