Title: Misleading Photos Conveniently located right off the I-45 feeder road, this hotel is surprisingly quiet despite its constructoon surroundings. The parking lot sits between an abandoned gas station and a Dairy Queen that’s currently closed for remodel, and it backs up to a privacy fence for Super 8 with better parking access. This was obviousely an older hotel but has been kept up. Beds were comfortable. Walls were without much insulations and couuld hear everything through them. The staff were wonderful. Especially the girl that checked us in! She offered to take all of our luggage up stairs as this hotel has no elevators and she was very nice and pleasant about it. My family would stay here again.

Dislikes: 1) I reserved a first floor room and was given a second floor room. 2) Stairways were narrow and no elevator was available. 3) Parking area was cramped and limited. 4) Check out time is 11am but the maids started knocking on the door at 9am. 1) Check in staff was friendly.

Ronny was most helpful and a very pleasant person to work with. Evidently the property is under new management and things have changed. It would be helpful if they had rooms with beds lower to the floor and toilets which would better accommodate the handicap. Most of the areas are not wheelchair accessible. Many thanks again to Ronny!!

The property is located directly behind a Dairy Queen so there is limited parking. No breakfast is provided besides a free icee in the morning. The rooms are decent could use some updating to bathroom fixtures.

Starting out Check in was a breeze, friendly gentleman checked us and told us how to get to our room. Getting there was easy because you are right off of I45 but the construction and concrete walls surrounding the place is rough. The room smelled horrible and when I went into the bathroom roaches scattered! I called the front desk to be told “it happens”. There was a dog that barked all night long and the beds were a little stiff. It’s definitely a get what you pay for atmosphere.

I didnt expect much for a hotel stay less than $100.00. We got what we paid for. The sign outside said new rooms and I'm not sure what that meant, maybe really old sign. There was mouldy grout in the shower which was also cracked, no hand soap or bodysoap at all. The desk exployee brought us some handsoap at one point. We found used Q-tips on the floor. OH!! The pillows were nicely labeled firm and soft, but after sleeping on them, they were equally paper thin. There was a coffeemaker but no cups in site. We did have 2 fridges for some reason and the best surprise was opening the microwave to find very old Pizza in there! Also know there is no elevator, only very dirty carpeted stairs. We probably won't stay here again.

The bed had hair and pee stains all in the bed. The shower curtain had mold on it. The hallways smelled like cigarettes even though it said it was a non-smoking room. We were told we had to take ot up woth expedia since we booked through them instead of the hotel.

Cleanliness is definitely substandard and rooms are very dated. I can tell that the owner spends little to invest in the property in terms of upkeep and maintenance. Carpet in hallways are filthy and towels/linen needs to be replaced with new and comfortable linen. Would not stay at a Red Roof Property again unless I absolutely have to. Which is why I stayed this time. All other hotels were booked up. Love the price but I guess you get what you pay for.

I will never stay here again and I’d advise you not to either. I woke up in the middle of the night with my arm itching and with welts. I turned the light on only to find a BED BUG in the bed!! I immediately took pictures and video, and went down to the front desk, and informed the employee there. She had no resolution and told me the owner will be in at 7 AM. After the owner arrived, I asked if the employee had informed him of the bedbugs and he said yes. I asked for my money bag which he refused to do, and his only solution was to tell me that he will get pest control to come and spray. This place is absolutely disgusting, horrible and dirty. By the owners and employee reaction when I informed them of the BEDBUGS, lets me know that they were aware that they have them because there was no shock or surprise to them that the BED BUGS were there. Don’t waste your time or money on this dirty place.

Hotel looks nicer in pictures than in person. Girl at front desk was friendly. Hotel was well lit at night. No elevator as there are only two floors. After getting into room, I turned down bed sheet and there was a long hair on first layer under comforter and a small hair on flat sheet layer. Phone did not work to call front desk so went downstairs to ask for new sheets. Girl at desk said she was sorry and offered me another room, but since we were tired, I just want to throw new sheets on my bed and rest. The other bed looked fine. She got new sheets for said she was sorry again. After placing new sheets on bed, I went to place items in fridge to stay cold, but the fridge was not cold, I tried the other items in room to see if they worked (TV, microwave, coffee maker, lamp, plug to try to charge phone..) and nothing worked. Went back to the desk to inform her that nothing worked and she gave me new room keys and then followed me up to room to check to see why things weren't working. The room next to us was not working either. We went to new room down the hall to see if things worked and it seems all good so we were about to move rooms when maintenance came up to check circuit breaker and fixed the issue in the first room we had so we ending up staying in first room for night. The a/c did kick on and off pretty regularly the entire night and was a bit loud so it did wake me several times, but other than that the hotel was relatively quiet. I would not stay again.

This is just an old motel that has been freshened up. The room was clean but the show had little water pressure and the toilet was too close to the wall. The flat screen LG TV would have been nice but the remote only controlled the volume and not the channel selection. We watched the Game Show channel for a couple of hours until we fell asleep. There were no breakfast options. There was a coffee station but no coffee at 8:00AM so that was a bust too. The ice maker worked...

The stay was affordable and very suitable for my needs. The staff was super nice friendly and helpful. Like very very nice. They were very attentive to accommodate any special needs coffee..creamer sugar etc. The priperty is has been there a while but had been updated. Hey its not a 5 star hotel ..but for the price an excellent decision..no bed bugs clean sheets plenty of towels..liquid soap dispensers in walk in shower comfortable bed..really dont need much more than that at a hotel

We stayed here last year and thought it was great value for the price. So when we were returning it was natural to stay here again. This time it wasn't as good, very sloppy service at reception and the clientele made us feel quite unsafe. Nothing noteworthy happened.

The address with this email took me over an hour past its actual destination. I had to turn around and drive back 75 miles. I called to verify address and the lady that works nights doesn’t speak English. I kept asking for address only to be offered a room. Very frustrating call. Once I got to the destination which is on I-45 (not I-45 south as stated) parking lot not well lit. Booked a 2 queen room but both beds were full size. Definitely not Queen. Body wash and shampoo dispenser in shower were full but gave very minuscule amount of product. Glad I brought my own body wash. Closet area non existent. No breakfast offered. Pool locked during regular hours/no access for guests. Floors of room dirty. I wore brand new white socks and the bottoms were black within less than an hour. Had to call front desk to change my tv mode. When it was initially turned on it said to view usb contents???? Will never stay at again.

There were loud people, smoking dope (I could smell it..very strong odor. Myself and another guest had to wait 15 minutes for front desk person. I had to go upstairs to find him. He was sweeping the floor in a room. 15 minutes. I had to be at car rental return on time...the service was absolutely unacceptable

Rooms were eh. They were hot and stuffy. Drove 20 hours. Just to show up and the man at the front desk was extremely rude telling us what food and drinks we can’t have in the room. Probably won’t be staying there again.

We did not get our parent discount honored. We didnt get any hand soap or basic toiletries. The dispensers were empty so we asked at the front desk (which was always empty,btw) and they said they would refill and never did. We didnt get our room cleaned either. We got charged four times, two on my debit and two times on my credit. Went back to the empty front desk and they said they had refunded but they didnt. I had to dipute three charges through my bank. No more Red Roof for me.

We came for a one-night stay and the staff was kind and helpful. They quickly met all of our needs. However, the room was a bit dingy and wasn't cleaned very well. The pool was clean. There is a lot of construction going on in the area right now, and that made travel a bit more complicated, but that is out of their control. All in all, we were fine with the room because it was inexpensive and served our needs, but I don't think we would stay here again with the kids.

Hotel was close to campus and did allow pets.The room was comfortable and I was able to adjust my own A/C. I needed to ask for assistance to get the tv to work and I was assisted without hesitation. The hand soap, shampoo and body wash dispensers were all empty.

The desk clerk was very nice. The room smelled very bad, mixture of cigarettes and weed. Rooms small, old, no soap in bathroom, roach crawled out from under fridge, smell of weed outside, not a good area. I didn't stay, left and found a cleaner,safer hotel.

Only problem was the mattress almost tipping over when I sat on it because it was off a few inches. No continental breakfast but a fast food place right there. The place was clean and had bright colors. I prefer this hotel over the Super 8 behind it.

The room has roaches, I smelled Marijuana as soon as I walked to the back door to go to my room. The TV remote didn't work, staff brought me another but had to keep pressing it hard to change the channels. Last night was the only night the street actually got hot. I will never stay there again.
