I got to hotel and got checked in. 4th floor. I noticed the pool and hot tub is out of order. Then one of the elevators is down too. So we get in our room and I Start looking around. I used to do housekeeping at a hotel so I know the standards of cleanininess expected from the management. Anyway there's blood stains on the mattress in the room and also when I pulled out the couch mattress it also had blood stains. It was disgusting. They refused to give me a refund at the front since I went through hotels.com. I got pictures. So ended up switching rooms , there's a stain on the pull out mattress again. That's two different rooms that had bloody stained mattresss. Very disgusting.

Check in was fast and easy although staff wasn't very attentive. Our room was dirty, the pool and hot tub were filthy. We were unable to get in because they were so gross. Which is the reason we stayed here. We wanted a pool and hot tub. The water in the hot tub wasn't even hot. It was like warm bath water at best. We had to go back down for bedding for the pull out bed. The elevators are slow and the hotel wasn't even busy. We took the stairs multiple times just because it was over 5 minutes for the elevator.

The room was great but we had called ahead to confirm there was a pool and hot tub before using the hotels app to book. Once we arrived and got settled in our room we went downstairs just to find out that the pool was out of order. Very disappointed kids. Especially when we could have stayed at embassy suites right across the parking lot.

The gym had broken equipment, lacked towels and hand sanitizer. There weren’t any alcohol wipes to wipe down the machines after use. On the way back to the room, I tried two different hand sanitizer stations which were both empty. Housekeeping walked in on the second knock as I was coming out of the shower.

Picked this hotel mainly for the indoor pool for the kids. Pool did not seem too clean and there was slime along the wall inside the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent

Within 30 minutes I found 3 bedbugs. Then another lady found some in her room. She was on the second floor and I was on the 3rd floor. Also, the shower didn’t work, the dryers didn’t work and one elevator had the panel with wires exposed. But, do not stay there unless you want bed bugs!

Room on 4 th floor and when we woke up we had a cockroach on the bed and another in the bathroom . The front desk were not surprised and when we told them that we were cutting short the stay to move to another hotel , they said the refund of the other days cancelled may take a couple of months and depend on Expedia as we booked through Hotels . Com Worst experience in a US hotel . We filled out complaints and to date no one has even had the courtesy of providing an apology.

Checked in around 845ish. Receptionist was ok, not friendly, just ok. Room didn't even have a tv guide or pen and paper. A used Lotion bottle on bathroom counter. Obviously housekeeping did NOT do their job. Dirty floor everywhere. Shower had Mold. Bed didn't appear to be fresh sheets, Hair in it the sheets, half on too. No extra bedding even though I booked to use the pull out couch Husband went down to get bedding and they were refusing to even give him pillows for it, he had to argue and they finally got him some. Unacceptable. Asked for a comb, no comb. Breakfast was .... normal fake eggs, terrible gravy, gross turkey sausage that was overdone, hard crunchy biscuits until asked for more, coffee ran out both kinds, (reg /Deca) Waitress was kind about it though. Had a hard time finding a clean table to eat at. Rest of facilty was decently clean. Clean and safe looking area overall. I'm a Norman resident, we had to stay the night while our house was airing out. This was beyond disappointing. We almost stayed at the Embassy since we had stayed there before and it was a good experience but we chose here instead. Wrong choice.

My first thought walking into the door was this is nice. First impression seemed clean. The girl at the desk was kind. Our room had several stains on the furniture, That gave the room a dirty feel. The toilet had urine around the edge of the toilet bowl. We made the couch out to a bed and the mattress had a very gross, large stain. Which made our grandson not want to sleep on it. We loved the fact that the room had a sitting area.

Everything was great, except the first room they assigned me the door was stuck and wouldn’t open. But they quickly remedied that and my next room was perfect. Great Wi-Fi too, did a speed test on it and I got 55 Mb per second upload download. Pretty nice for a hotel!

The place was clean and check-in was a breeze. However, the TV in the bedroom part only got 4 channels (all of which were religious channels), and the TV in the living room area had more channels, but most were not viewable because of poor connectivity. Therefore, I spent all evening having to watch videos on my phone instead of being able to watch CNN. Also, there was no half and half for the coffee downstairs, only 2% milk and flavored creamers that have a ton of added sugar. Very disappointed for the price and because of these issues, I will not be staying here again.

The property isn't bad but beds I and my family slept on were very uncomfortable. We could barely sleep. The recliner sofa that my son slept on was worse. He woke up feeling pains all over. He actually slept on top of a spring with no mattress

We usually love staying at the Holiday Inn and Norman. The suit fits my family nicely. The beds are now covered with some kind of plastic mattress cover that is not comfortable. It is not breathable and crinkles every time you move.

Great hotel near the University of Oklahoma that is CLEAN and worth every penny. We got a spacious suite that sleeps 6, and we had more than enough room to move around and sleep comfortably. We will definitely stay here again when visiting OU!

I was in Norman for a medical procedure, which left me exhausted. The front desk staff allowed me to check in early, and I was very pleased with the room selected for me. I was done with dinner, changed, and in bed by 7. I slept straight through the night and did not wake up until 7 am! The peaceful room allowed for the rest, which was precisely what I needed. Thank you!

It was across the street from the conference I was attending. The issue I had was when I checked in on 12-3 at about 3:00 I asked the clerk, a taller male with a mask, if I could extend my stay and leave on 12-6. He said that was not a problem. On 12-5 at about 1:30 I received a call from the hotel that I needed to get my things out of the room and that I was not registered for the night, that they were fully booked. I ended up missing part of a raining that I paid for in order to move my things and get a room across the street.

Under staffed and staff there is stressed out. They told me they couldn’t give me a receipt after check out because I booked through a 3rd party. One of our keys didn’t work at the back door and I got a huge sigh and eye roll from the employee who clearly didn’t care. Then proceeded to say “well, I’ll have to make new keys”…after seeing and hearing all that, we just used one key, but couldn’t wait for the review to come out so management can train better.

The room I paid for was not the room I was given. I paid for a king room for two adults and my room I paid for was given away. I was given a room with double beds! When I pay for a certain room I expect that room. The clerk was not helpful in fixing the situation and she admitted to giving my room to someone else. I will not stay at Holiday Inn again.

8:22 pm, 15 minutes upon arrival I received a phone call that they were overbooked and there was no room for me, 2 children & my elderly dog. Very unhappy. 50 years of travel, never had a reservation negated!

Great location, next to the Trey Young Family Athletic Center. Walkable to many good lunch and dinner spots. The breakfast was awful, however. We're not picky eaters, but nobody in our family would touch it. Rubbery eggs, questionable sausage, watery coffee... But even without the free breakfast, it was a clean, spacious room at a good value. Would stay there again.

I have a kiddo at OU & stay in hotels often. I love the location because you can avoid game day traffic. Friendly staff, quiet rooms, great AC, clean, new everything, comfy beds & overhead lighting! Not just lamps! The included breakfast, though, needs improvement (and I’m a nurse who is used to hospital food). The coffee is fabulous though.

Another great hotel to stay in. Stayed here 2 separate times on one trip. Same check in person both times and he was great! Clean, comfy beds, great breakfast, not thrilled about being cashless however as I needed to do laundry and needed change so I did not do any. Overall a great stay.

The room are very spacious and beds were comfortable and clean. 3 things bothered here.. #1 The breakfast was not that great in comparison to some others we’ve stayed at. #2 The pool area never had towels and when you ask the front desk they didn’t either. 3rd is small i guess but my room had no ice bucket. I ask the front desk for one and they didn’t have one but said they would get me one and someone would bring it up. I never got an ice bucket
