Motel 6-Norman, OK

There was the smallest little waiting room that everyone had to cram into while waiting to check in. It was honestly ridiculous. The door was locked to the main entrance to the hotel. The ice machine was broken.

No coffee. Not consistent.

If you are looking for an inexpensive bed and a shower this is your place. Nothing was so bad I wouldn’t stay again for the price, I just wouldn’t stay multiple nights again. We had 3 people in our room. You have to ask for extra towels as the room only comes with 2. Shower was good, plenty warm and a nice spray. Only 1 mirror in room so no one could get ready while others showered. There are no tissues, pillows are flat and minimal, bed is hard as a rock. Hotel door didn’t fit the opening well (needed trim) so you could see light all the way around all night long. Floors weren’t carpeted so it was great for cleanliness but terrible for sound absorption. Lighting was terrible. Lights next to the bed were super bright and then there was a desk lamp. That’s it. No standing lamps. Plenty of parking. Close to highway and major retail and restaurants. 10-15 min drive to OU Campus.

A standard motel, however it was clean and convenient. No issues with parking or check in. Staff was as expected for a motel. Room was clean. Beds as expected, nothing special. Shower was hot (great). Walls were thin, so noise carried. Really, for the price paid, a great deal.

Bed was very uncomfortable. The TV did not work. I won't stay there again.
