Nice hotel in the middle of town. Slightly dated but was clean and convenient. Can walk anywhere within Ouray and they have free off-street parking. Definitely would stay again.

A nice little hotel nestled in the heart of Ouray, Ouray Inn offered us a great place to rest after a day on the trails. The daily hot breakfast was the perfect start, and sore muscles got releif from the very hot water in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again!

Great spot to stay in when visiting Ouray. Off the main street so it is quiet, but close enough to walk. The couple running the inn were very sweet. Breakfasts were delicious and happy hour was a nice touch. Loved the balcony area to sit and enjoy the views. Would stay here again!

Spotless, friendly, happy hour with wine and home made chocolate chip cookies. View of mountains. Chairs to enjoy the view. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there many days. City hot springs were excellent. Amazing breakfast - eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and lots of other items. Hot and good. Best breakfast ! Friendly owners.

The Inn was a bit of a disappointment. On the plus side, the furniture had good storage. The lawn was great for gathering and the 2nd floor has nice patio and seating. There’s also plenty of parking. The location is terrific with access to both Main St, restaurants, and the Ouray Perimeter Trail. On the negative side, the rooms were dark and seemed dingy. There were plenty of lamps (more than many upscale hotels) but the bulbs weren’t bright enough and I had to use a flashlight to read (I’m 66). Just upgrading the bulbs and painting the walls white would make a big difference. We had a king room but it was so small that only 1 suitcase could be on a suitcase rack. The other had to be on the floor - I don’t unpack my suitcase on a short stay. A sign in the room said that housekeeping was available on request. We stayed 3 nights and although our needs were minor, I don’t feel it’s our role to ask for more soap, towels, coffee, and trash to be emptied, especially since I felt that by ringing the bell, we were disturbing the management. Breakfast was a disappointment but that’s because we are very healthy eaters and this is probably not an issue for many travelers. But white bread, yogurt with a lot of sugar, hot dishes like biscuits and gravy, and waffles, and not a lot of protein options, were disappointing. Take my comments knowing we may have had different expectations than you, and read others’ reviews to help you decide whether this is the place for you.

The Inn was right off the main road which was nice since we didn't hear all the traffic. The continental breakfast each morning was great and had a good selection. They had a happy hour each day from 4:30 to 6:30 with wine and cookies. That was a nice surprise! The instant hot water was FANTASTIC! We had 8-10" of snow over the course of 2 days so the hot water was much appreciated. Every day and evening, we saw a buck, doe, and baby outside of our window! Another great surprise. Ed and Julie were the innkeepers and they were great! Very social people and gave us several tips and suggestions for our stay. They had the parking lot shoveled before we, or any other guests, arrived so that was nice. I've been to Ouray several times in the summer with my Jeep Wrangler in a group of friends, but this was the first winter stay and it was totally worth it! We very much enjoyed our stay in Ouray and at the Ouray Inn. We highly recommend this Inn for your next trip to Ouray.

Cute hotel near the main street in Ouray. The room accomodations were nice, I selected this hotel for a solo getaway. Only downside is walls are VERY thin. I could hear both neighbors very well at all hours in and outside their unit. I could hear all activity outside my room, especially snow shoveling at 7:00am. Bed was super comfortable. Will stay here again!

Its a old motor motel that has been redone. I was assigned a room in the basement. Nice enough bit still the basement. It was the exact same price as my friends paid for ground level rooms. I wish the motel would of informed of this. The room was not worth the same price. Other than that it was okay, no issues

We reserved a two-queen room with kitchenette and were assigned Room 111, on the first floor in the back of the inn. (Like most places in Ouray that call themselves "inns," the Ouray Inn is really a motel. The room was quiet, with comfortable beds, modern fixtures and a well equipped kitchen (although no paper towels). But the room was small and cramped. For example, although there was a kitchen with fancy induction cooktop and microwave, and very nice cookware, utensils and dishes, there was no table to eat at and not one chair to sit on - we had to eat sitting on our beds. All in all, the room had the feeling of someone's finished basement. The parking area in back was muddy from melted snow, making it impossible not to bring grit from our shoes into the room. The room heater was not great - the bed near the heater tended to be too hot, whereas the bed near the entrance door, which had visible gaps around it, tended to be too cold. The staff at the inn were uniformly friendly and helpful, and the inn has a nice happy hour, with complementary wine and cookies. Hot breakfast is offered Sunday only, with "continental" breakfast offered other days.

Was planning a motorcycle trip to the area and excited to stay at this place. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and was unable to make it. Notice was given 24 hours in advance, but the owners stated that their was nothing they could do to change or refund any of the $300 payment. Really? No flexibility to accomodate this situation. Maybe a credit to be used at a future time? A hard NO was the response. Unexpected and unbelievable a business owner would respond to their customer this way. We ate to fee and I'm sure they sold the night to another customer for a "double" payment for the night.

Managers are first-rate in customer service. Breakfast and Happy Hour treats were excellent, as well as amenities in the room. Sure, an older property but well maintained and supported by the staff. Ouray is conducive to walking around town, and the Inn is well placed.

The Inn was right off the main road which was nice since we didn't hear all the traffic. The continental breakfast each morning was great and had a good selection. They had a happy hour each day from 4:30 to 6:30 with wine and cookies. That was a nice surprise! The instant hot water was FANTASTIC! We had 8-10" of snow over the course of 2 days so the hot water was much appreciated. Every day and evening, we saw a buck, doe, and baby outside of our window! Another great surprise. Ed and Julie were the innkeepers and they were great! Very social people and gave us several tips and suggestions for our stay. They had the parking lot shoveled before we, or any other guests, arrived so that was nice. I've been to Ouray several times in the summer with my Jeep Wrangler in a group of friends, but this was the first winter stay and it was totally worth it! We very much enjoyed our stay in Ouray and at the Ouray Inn. We highly recommend this Inn for your next trip to Ouray.

Innkeepers are excellent at communicating with you and they provide amazing personalized service. I requested vegetarian food for breakfast and they happily accommodated me.Although the hotel was older the bathroom was updated. Our room was very clean and overall the hotel was very nicely maintained.

On our way from Tucson to Minneapolis for the summer, spent 2 nights at the Ouray Inn. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are present and available for any needs. They have a small happy hour where it’s nice to talk with other guests. A homemade hot breakfast is provided and is a great way to start the day. The inn is about 2 blocks off Main Street so convenient to restaurants and shops. The price on hotels.com was lower than most other facilities in town. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, Parking is good. Our suite was a little small for us, but still doable. Would get a bigger room next visit. The motel is in a quiet area, just off main street. Getting to the shops and restaurants is walkable.

They say they are pet friendly but not really! Our “Superior queen suite” was literally in the back alley with the tub faucet leaking water that wouldn’t shut off and a rock hard bed that we couldn’t sleep on. Free breakfast but can’t leave your pet in the room unattended or they charge you a pet fee AGAIN. So couldn’t even go to breakfast together. Never again!

The property is very old with really old mattresses and bedding. The bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good. The first day I had a stale bagel with creamy peanut butter that was hard. I didn’t bother going to breakfast after that. My husband did try breakfast the next two days but again not good at all. If the price was $100-125 then I would be satisfied but at over $200/night this property and service needs some work. It really would not be hard to offer a better breakfast for people and buy some new bedding and mattresses. That alone would have improved my stay then add some cheese to go with the wine at night and I think most people would be happy.

They were close to the shopping area and a 10-15 minute walk to the hot springs pool. The breakfast was home made and delicious. But we went down a little after 8 and it was almost gone. Im unaware if they had more ik the back for just in case but it was good. So just get there early to be sure.

Close and convenient to downtown. Furnishings were old and worn, with holes in the bedroom curtains. Bathroom window did not have any curtains. Breakfast was only available after 7:30 AM so you need to find somewhere else to eat if you are going to get out early for tourist events.

It was a wonderful experience, they have complementary breaks and evening wine 🍷, very nice welcome after a 6 hr drive. Fantastic view, the room was dated but nice, clean, perfect location, and excellent customer service. Definitely would go back and recommend!!!

This little town is amazing and to top it off Ouray Inn is the perfect little hotel. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, the room was perfect and all you could ever need, and they have complimentary wine and cookies between 4:30 and 6:30. And they have a very delicious breakfast complimentary as well.

It took several minutes for someone to show up to check is in. Our room was very small. No chair and nowhere to put one. Hate the sink in the bathroom. It's pretty, but too high and too wide. There was very little counter space around the sink. The cabinet under the sink was nice, though. Breakfast was okay the first day. The second day there was no meat.
