Loved staying here. Big rooms, a nice quiet pool and very nice service. I did however not like the parking options. Valet only at $48 tax per night. When asked for cheaper alternatives nearby I got a vague "there might be some cheaper but you'll probably get towed". In hindsight there was a parking garage with overnight cheaper nearby.

Pali House is a comfortable place to pass a nights sleep if you need to spend an evening in the West Hollywood/Grove area of LA. Very clean with responsive front desk and efficient valet service. However, I really resent being charged a RESORT FEE as this hotel is in no way any kind of resort. Price the room for what it is, please

DEcor is a bit confusing, trying to do too many things. Room and bathroom very comfortable and large---fitness center very small and minimnal---They don\'t list their pool online, so I didnt\' bring a bathing suit, which I would have...very nice staff at front---very good value, although irritating that they throw in a $38 "amenity charge" just before you book....this is NOT OPTIONAL and should just be in the pricing to begin with...

Great location, friendly staff and spacious room makes this an ideal hotel for exploring Los Angeles' Melrose and WeHo areas. Walkable to shops, restaurants and The Grove. Valet parking is fast and efficient but a bit pricey. One drawback, the pool area is very small and all the chaise lounge chairs (maybe 8-10 chairs, max?) were filled up so I couldn't enjoy a couple of hours in the LA sunshine.

Great boutique hotel in a very walkable area. The rooms were very comfortable. The bar and restaurant lounge have a good vibe and the food was very good. Stepping out to the street there are cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries all in an easy walking distance. Great neighborhood. Easy to walk to Melrose and also LACMA, etc. staff are friendly, helpful and know the area well.

The property was nice and I enjoyed my stay, but at the time of booking there was no information about their $30 per night + tax "resort fee". I did book through a third party site (hotels.com), and I now see that they include this additional amount in their trip estimate, but it wasn\'t on on my original quote at the time of booking or my itinerary from hotels.com, so I was disappointed to find out that there was an additional $250 worth of costs associated with staying here. They also charged me for parking when I didn\'t have a vehicle, but upon calling them they agreed to refund me for that.

Loved the vibe. Comfy rooms and staff was great. Housekeeping seemed a bit under staffed, but I imagine the ICE raids in LA have had an impact there. Sweet but very small pool. Biggest downside was the food - very limited menu and limited hours.

The restaurant does not serve a full menu - mostly snack items - and is not open late into the evening. The bed was comfortable, but carpet was not the cleanest (found an earplug under the couch, clothing tags on the floor, etc.) nor was the shower grout. Valet parking was excellent - quick and easy. Overall a great stay.

No, the current front desk staff does not meet the standard this hotel once had. The friendly, welcoming team we were used to seems to have been replaced by new employees who no longer greet guests when they enter the lobby. Instead of acknowledging arrivals, they seem more focused on chatting among themselves than on providing even the most basic hospitality. To make matters worse, the small gestures that used to set this hotel apart — like providing a complimentary drink voucher for each guest in the party — have suddenly changed. These new staff members now hand out one voucher for a couple, which not only feels stingy but also shows a lack of awareness of previous standards. It’s a disappointing shift that sends a message: guest experience is no longer the priority. Housekeeping has also declined in an unacceptable way. While I always disinfect the room myself upon check-in, I still should never have to scrub off what appeared to be dried feces or blood on the side of the toilet. That level of oversight is not only unacceptable — it’s a direct failure in cleanliness, sanitation, and quality control. On top of that, several of the towels in the room were unusable due to visible black dirt marks. Basic linen cleanliness should be non-negotiable, yet even that standard wasn’t met. Hotel was decorated very nicely, however there in house bar has a DJ until 11pm, meaning there was noise all the way in our room on level 4 until 11pm at night, not the best for a good nights sleep. Cleanliness could have been better - hadn’t been cleaned underneath furniture in a while and some toiletries empty on arrival. Resort fees are also in addition to booking

I want to preface this by saying that we normally stay here and have a very nice time. I am hoping this time was a fluke. The ac did not work at all in the room and the temp got to 77. Hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. Staff could not fix and could not switch rooms. Bedding was stained, bathroom sink did not drain well, ripped pillow cases. The room needs to be taken out of service and fixed. However the positives are that the restaurant staff and food is very good. Also at the end of the day the hotel manager did make amends. Therefore we will go back and hopefully the issues are tuned up and fixed because it is such a quaint boutique hotel in a great location.

Newly opened still working out the kinks. Great style, great looking bar and restaurant area. Nice sized rooms and comfortable beds. Unfortunately the room was not completely cleaned when we settled in. The garbage can was full and there were scraps of paper around the bathroom trash can. The night tables needed to be wiped down and there were food crumbs on the floor. We alerted the front desk and housekeeping emptied the trash can but that was it. The next day they forgot to empty the trash can again. The staff was friendly the valet guys were nice, except for the housekeeping issues it was a nice stay in a great part of town.

PaliHouse is an excellent location in Los Angeles. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Beverly Center. The rooms are always clean. I enjoy the balcony with the street view. The front desk staff and the valet staff are always friendly. This hotel has been a top choice whenever I visit LA.

I stayed 4 nights at Palihouse West Hollywood. My room was just outside the lift on the 5th floor. The room was spacious and clean and mostly quiet. The location is good being close to the Beverley shopping centre and also the Grove and Wholefoods. There are many restaurants and bars in the area. Also a very good cafe just down the road called Joans on 3rd.

The overall style is fun and different. Creates a cool vibe. We were on the 5th floor facing the street. The noise from the street is very loud no real sound proofing. The air conditioner was also very loud when we turned it off the building units shook the wooden shudders all night they provide ear plugs. The hood is fun lots of places to get coffee and Son of a Gun was excellent. Hoping the construction in back is done soon then might be a great spot.

Second time staying here for multiple nights each. Very quiet - even in a street facing room. Rooms are beyond spacious, beds are so comfy and overall everything is well thought out with all amenities. I will say that it would be nice to have yea or coffee pods to go with the coffee maker. Will definitely return again!

Lovely, comfortable, and spacious rooms. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was there 3 nights and issues with the WiFi each day. My first room was on the top floor which and I had some trouble sleeping the first night because of the noise from the AC units on the roof but the staff was helpful in switching me.

Lovely spot. Rooms are delightful. Plenty of amenities and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Staff very nice and accommodating. All around a fabulous place to stay in West Hollywood. Will be back!

The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Kudo's to Ben and Justin (bar/restaurant) and reception staff. So much fun and provided so many great recommendations for dinner and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again if ever we are in L.A. again. Only one slight negative for the room amenities - there was no vanity in the bathroom for toiletries and our particular room did not have a full-length closet to hang our formal wear. Otherwise - beautifully decorated and staff.

No, the current front desk staff does not meet the standard this hotel once had. The friendly, welcoming team we were used to seems to have been replaced by new employees who no longer greet guests when they enter the lobby. Instead of acknowledging arrivals, they seem more focused on chatting among themselves than on providing even the most basic hospitality. To make matters worse, the small gestures that used to set this hotel apart — like providing a complimentary drink voucher for each guest in the party — have suddenly changed. Great location - easy walk to restaurants and stores. Our hotel room was clean. However, the general experience did not meet our expectations. The parking team were efficient and attentive but the front desk staff had significant room for improvement. The most disappointing experience was being misinformed on Friday night by the front desk member who claimed there wasn't a pool at the location when I asked for the floor of the pool lounge. Our 2nd stay at this property. So well located and all the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Megan at Front Desk was our main point of contact and made sure our stay went smoothly. Great housekeeping team and big thanks to Monica who kept our room tip top and well stocked. Everyone from the Valet staff and Guys working outside made sure to check we were ok and made us feel safe and comfortable. Palihouse West Hollywood Hotel is beautifully designed. We felt right at home with easy access to our favourite LA places.

When I walked into the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the chic design albeit was greeted by an unfriendly front desk agent. Nonetheless, room was ready and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. During my last day, there was no hot water throughout the entire hotel (twice in one day). Accidents as such happen but the lack of apology and extremely lukewarm (if not rude) attitude I received from hotel staff (from front desk to manager) really put me off. Checkout wasn't seamless either. I got refunded for my last night and, still, will not be returning.

This is the best location if you want to be able to access West LA attractions. It’s a boutique hotel on a fairly anodyne stretch of Third but you can be at the Grove in five minutes. Or Beverly Hills. Very stylish lobby and restaurant with rooms more quirky than trendy, which I liked. But there is a gym on the fifth floor near the elevator bank; get a room far away from it. Also, I was surprised the elevators did not require keycard access. Not a big issue for me but could be for others. Small pool area is very peaceful and receives plenty of sunlight. I spent half a day there.

I’m so happy I picked this lovely place for my weekend stay in LA. Staff, ambiance, comfort and location all exceeded my expectations. It was a great choice not to rent a car as I walked to so many places since there are tons to do around here if you like to walk. It’s also pretty central location to many places by uber/lyft . I already want to come back here with my husband next time and will recommend this spot to family & friends. Thank you all the staff for being so kind and welcoming.

Came up to LA for a weekend and tried this hotel. It was a great location, good rate and looked nice online. We really liked it and will stay there again. Had a great stay. The design is pretty maximalist with some choices that might not be for everyone (we had a big table in our room), but we enjoyed it. The bed and shower are really nice. Didn’t check out the pool. Lobby restaurant is nice as well but we only got coffee there. Rooms had nespresso but there’s a barista in the restaurant. There was a minor issue or two but the front desk was super responsive and took care of everything. Valet was quick too. Great staff all around. We couldn’t have enjoyed the location more and had some great spots around it for coffee and breakfast if you want to venture out of the hotel. It’s a remodel of an older hotel and not super tall so there was street noise on 3rd Saturday night we could hear. If that’s a a concern maybe ask to not face that way if possible. Didn’t keep me up though.

One drawback, the pool area is very small and all the chaise lounge chairs (maybe 8-10 chairs, max?) were filled up so I couldn't enjoy a couple of hours in the LA sunshine.

PaliHouse is an excellent location in Los Angeles. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Beverly Center. The rooms are always clean. I enjoy the balcony with the street view. The front desk staff and the valet staff are always friendly. This hotel has been a top choice whenever I visit LA.

Stepping out to the street there are cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries all in an easy walking distance. Great neighborhood. Easy to walk to Melrose and also LACMA, etc. staff are friendly, helpful and know the area well.

The location is good being close to the Beverley shopping centre and also the Grove and Wholefoods. There are many restaurants and bars in the area. Also a very good cafe just down the road called Joans on 3rd.

My stay atv Palihouse was perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the room are spacious and the hotel is located right in the heart of West Hollywood., The neighborhood is great and is walking distance to a few places like LACMA and the Design District. The restaurant does not serve a full menu - mostly snack items - and is not open late into the evening. The bed was comfortable, but carpet was not the cleanest (found an earplug under the couch, clothing tags on the floor, etc.) nor was the shower grout. Valet parking was excellent - quick and easy. Overall a great stay.

I love the aesthetic of the pali properties and this one was no different. I felt the dining options after breakfast were very limited, and bar closing at 9 or for private functions was a bit frustrating, but didn't impact my stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Cute boutique hotel located in a great area close to shopping and restaurants. It had a cool, retro vibe. We had a nice breakfast at the hotel, and then a sushi snack and drinks the next day. Both were delicious. Friendly, courteous staff too.
