Brilliant hotel, always try to stay here if in Chester. Car park for about 20 cars, but Watergate St is a 3 min walk and about £12 for 24 hours. Stayed in the Ascot suite, great size, spotless, all the facilities in good working order. Free WiFi. Lots of space, ealk in shower (very powerful). Best bit, the L-shaped balcony with a superb view of the entire racecourse and beyond. All staff / reception brilliant and friendly.

Andrea on reception was amazing could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the Aintree Suite the amenities were excellent. Efficient AC well equipped kitchen comfy bed and excellent power shower. The location was perfect we would highly recommend Roomzzz at Chester

Friendly person on reception, great to be able to use the free hot drinks machine at any time, nice breakfast bits could take up to the room, really handy for historic town centre, cute little kitchen area, nice shower, welcome air con. Parking spaces seemed too small for large cars.

The room was equipped with a small kitchen which is great for longer stays. The room was very big. The only drawback is that you need to pay for parking. When we looked it did not state this.

Great condition and great amenities at a good price and all close to the centre. Parking can get filled up so would be useful to be able to book it in advance in future.

I think I was expecting a little more, so when I got a Premier Inn with a small kitchen, I was a little disappointed. We had a Family Room with the sofa made up into a second bed, and there was very little space left in the room. It is pet friendly, but they charge £20 a night extra for your furry friends. The parking is limited and more expensive than the Racecourse next door (£15 v £10), which also has some EV charge points. It's also in an excellent location for exploring the wonderful city of Chester. My biggest issue was noise, though, and during the two nights we stayed, I got very little sleep. A buzzer was going off randomly in the hotel, waking us at least 2-3 times. The Racecourse has a clock which chimes on the hour every hour, and the road outside is quite busy even through the night. The windows let in lots of that noise, even when tightly closed. So, all that said, would I stay again? No, I wouldn't!

Booked 1 night for a business stop over in the area . Parking is charged by an app and was £15 for 24 hours. The check in was seamless and very efficient .I was given my key to the Goodwood suite . There was a lounge kitchen diner . The kitchen had all the amenities you would need a hob a dual power microwave a fridge and dishwasher. The bedroom also had a TV . And the bathroom was well equipped with a powerful rain shower. The main event was the views . You are only 100 metres from Chester racecourse . I would definitely return

Overall a good stay. It was clean upon arrival the cleaners do a very good job. The kitchenette was inaccurate even the inside of the dishwasher and microwave was spotless. They provide everything you’d ever need in there and even dishwasher tablets which saves you having to wash up. The bed was relatively comfortable, pillows was not the best for me and gave me neck pain in the morning but I might just be fussy with pillows. The staff was friendly, opening doors for customers and even offered to move his car as we’d paid for parking, been out for the day, come back and the car park was full. They have a tea / coffee / hot chocolate machine that is free to use and can use it as many times as you want. In the morning they do offer a range of yogurts, fruits, juices, and pastries to take which I really thought was a nice touch from the hotel but unfortunately when we stayed the oven wasn’t working to cook the pastries which was a shame really. The negatives I’d say is the car park, we paid a lot of money to stay there for the weekend - I don’t think it’s then necessary to charge us £10 per night to use the car park. It’s very small and cramped a lot of spaces on but that’s just my opinion.

This was a perfect location for Chester Marathon, indeed anything on the racecourse. Spacious room with perfect kitchen area for those who like me need a special diet they are unlikely to get in a restaurant. Comfortable and clean, and whilst very close to racecourse, excellent double glazing and air con so any noise stays outside. Staff were tremendous, but if you have stayed before note that the previous supplied breakfast is slimmed sown now to just croissants.

The room looked unclean and neglected. Sofa had marks, shower floor was dirty and there was no soap/shower gel in the dispensers as well as the dispensers being broken. We had to get someone to replace these. The bathroom smelt of bad drains. The whole room needed an update unfortunately would not stay again.

What a shame. It is a great location, just inside the city walls. Chester is small, and the hotel was convenient for everything. The property has been updated with fairly recent fixtures and fittings. But the cleanliness more than offset these pluses. On first entering the room, we looked around, went to the bathroom, and raised the toilet seat. OMG, there was brown stuff inside. Now concerned, we looked around the room and saw a big cobweb in a corner where the clothes cupboard meets the room wall. I was curious why the spider chose that spot. The cupboard was taller than most people, so I ran my finger along the top of the cupboard near the cobweb and a cloud of dust blew up. I wanted to check out at this point, but my wife was tired and could not face it. So I got some disinfectant wipes from the car and started wiping. The kitchen area was clean but the were many small hairs on the bathroom floor. The rest of our stay was uneventful.

Well catered small studio, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with pleasant bath and shower products. Cleaning could have been improved, especially behind side tables, at skirting boards and between bed and table. Table a little scuffed. No kettle but good other appliances, suitable for longer stays. Nice touch to add free hot drink and croissant, a gluten free alternative would have been nice for my partner. Would stay again.

Chester is fab, our first visit and we will return. Our room, which overlooked the racecourse, was nice, spotless with a small kitchen area. It had everything we needed, including a good sized fridge. Nice shower with lovely hot water. Comfy bed and pillows. There's supermarkets, not too far away. We managed to get parked at the hotel, £18 per night, but there is cheaper parking nearby. We parked up and walked everywhere. 100% would stay here again next time we visit Chester. We have stayed at the Roomzz in York too. We had a perfect stay.

When we arrived, the lady on reception was helpful, friendly and really welcoming. The room was perfect, very clean, had everything you need. It’s a lovely hotel. Parking on site at a reasonable cost. Ideal location. Would highly recommend!

Great location, lovely rooms, terrific pillows and showers. Few cobwebs in the room though and the aircon blew on to my face in the bed when on. Breakfast croissants were fresh and lovely.

Great location and lots of parking at and around the hotel I only gave 4/5 for comfort because the bedding was very warm and so was the room. So a little over hot in bed.

Andrea on reception was amazing could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the Aintree Suite the amenities were excellent. Efficient AC well equipped kitchen comfy bed and excellent power shower. The location was perfect we would highly recommend Roomzzz at Chester

When we arrived, the lady on reception was helpful, friendly and really welcoming. The room was perfect, very clean, had everything you need. It’s a lovely hotel. Parking on site at a reasonable cost. Ideal location. Would highly recommend!

Having stayed at other Roomzz we didnt feel we could go wrong, and it was the same high standard. Perfect spot for the town centre, with on site parking. Rooms are spacious, comfy bed and every amenity you could need. Bathroom had an amazing shower. The complimentary tea/coffee in reception 24/7 was great as were the free pastries in a morning. Staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely stay here again

We have stayed here a few times before. Perfect location and brilliant hotel. Staff on the front desk were polite, very helpful and they gave us a free upgrade to a penthouse suite which was unexpected but very much appreciated. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

enjoyed my stay, very disappointed that 4 of my rooms were downgraded even though i had already paid in full. This should not be allowed to happen. i was told i would receive £40 for the hassle or tuff basically.

Brilliant hotel, always try to stay here if in Chester. Car park for about 20 cars, but Watergate St is a 3 min walk and about £12 for 24 hours. Stayed in the Ascot suite, great size, spotless, all the facilities in good working order. Free WiFi. Lots of space, ealk in shower (very powerful). Best bit, the L-shaped balcony with a superb view of the entire racecourse and beyond. All staff / reception brilliant and friendly.

Great place to stay! Right next to the racecourse (which is more or less in the centre of town) with parking a couple of minutes' walk away. We didnt use the hotel car park which was full anyway. We were hoping to watch our favourite tv programs but the weather had knocked out the signal. We weren't told when we arrived but overhead someone talking about it. We paid £10 extra for a late checkout but felt maybe this should have been waived due to the inconvenience caused by not having music or tv.The receptionist very kindly said she'd check with her manager. All in all though, I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment hotel.

I think I was expecting a little more, so when I got a Premier Inn with a small kitchen, I was a little disappointed. We had a Family Room with the sofa made up into a second bed, and there was very little space left in the room. It is pet friendly, but they charge £20 a night extra for your furry friends. The parking is limited and more expensive than the Racecourse next door (£15 v £10), which also has some EV charge points. It's also in an excellent location for exploring the wonderful city of Chester. My biggest issue was noise, though, and during the two nights we stayed, I got very little sleep. A buzzer was going off randomly in the hotel, waking us at least 2-3 times. The Racecourse has a clock which chimes on the hour every hour, and the road outside is quite busy even through the night. The windows let in lots of that noise, even when tightly closed. So, all that said, would I stay again? No, I wouldn't!

Brilliant location, short walk to the centre of Chester, Walls and river. You can get on the Wall just a few steps away from the hotel. We walked all the way around them to get out bearings. Chester is fab, our first visit and we will return. Our room, which overlooked the racecourse, was nice, spotless with a small kitchen area. It had everything we needed, including a good sized fridge. Nice shower with lovely hot water. Comfy bed and pillows. There's supermarkets, not too far away. We managed to get parked at the hotel, £18 per night, but there is cheaper parking nearby. We parked up and walked everywhere. 100% would stay here again next time we visit Chester. We have stayed at the Roomzz in York too. We had a perfect stay.

This is a relatively new hotel in a central location. The apartment was very spacious with double bed, desk and chairs and a comfy sofa along with a kitchen area with more than ample equipment including a dishwasher. The bathroom came with a powerful shower. Breakfast is supplied in the form of yogurts, pastries and fruit along with fruit juices, all in a grab and go basis to take back to your room, or out with you. Free hot drinks were also available as they are on 24 hour availability. Parking space is at a premium in the hotel grounds so get there early, this costs £10 for 24 hours. Other car parks are available nearby for similar prices if full. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and this was an enjoyably stay at a good price. I would definitely use this aparthotel and consider them in other cities too based on this visit.

This stay was exquisite, friendly and accommodating staff, spacious and very sanitary room. It was lovely and quiet. The 24 hour tea and coffee service was excellent, as was the grab and go breakfast. The rainfall shower was beautiful and I didn’t want to leave, would definitely recommend and will be sure to stay again :)

Betty&Fran went above&beyond to make my stay memorable.a pity Mo spoiled that.1st time in a roomzzz..great they are apartment rooms…albeit tired and a bit grubby…carpet tiles need renewed as does the wallpaper and stained chairs,day 2 I booked a penthouse which was phenomenal..views stunning,but patio decking&furniture tired&needed cushions&updating.the race course is the selling point,great to have a laundry room&hot drinks and water on tap…as well as croissants in the morning…no milk or cold drinks or fruit as stated in booklet tho…

Well catered small studio, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with pleasant bath and shower products. Cleaning could have been improved, especially behind side tables, at skirting boards and between bed and table. Table a little scuffed. No kettle but good other appliances, suitable for longer stays. Nice touch to add free hot drink and croissant, a gluten free alternative would have been nice for my partner. Would stay again.

Overall a good stay. It was clean upon arrival the cleaners do a very good job. The kitchenette was inaccurate even the inside of the dishwasher and microwave was spotless. They provide everything you’d ever need in there and even dishwasher tablets which saves you having to wash up. The bed was relatively comfortable, pillows was not the best for me and gave me neck pain in the morning but I might just be fussy with pillows. The staff was friendly, opening doors for customers and even offered to move his car as we’d paid for parking, been out for the day, come back and the car park was full. They have a tea / coffee / hot chocolate machine that is free to use and can use it as many times as you want. In the morning they do offer a range of yogurts, fruits, juices, and pastries to take which I really thought was a nice touch from the hotel but unfortunately when we stayed the oven wasn’t working to cook the pastries which was a shame really. The negatives I’d say is the car park, we paid a lot of money to stay there for the weekend - I don’t think it’s then necessary to charge us £10 per night to use the car park. It’s very small and cramped a lot of spaces on but that’s just my opinion.

This was a perfect location for Chester Marathon, indeed anything on the racecourse. Spacious room with perfect kitchen area for those who like me need a special diet they are unlikely to get in a restaurant. Comfortable and clean, and whilst very close to racecourse, excellent double glazing and air con so any noise stays outside. Staff were tremendous, but if you have stayed before note that the previous supplied breakfast is slimmed sown now to just croissants.
