Great location for the gig at 02 Victoria Warehouse. Free gifts in the room and really comfy bed. Rooftop football pitch is a great bonus.

Great hotel. Very clean and modern. Rooms come with fridge full of complementary snacks for kids and water. Gated Parking opposite £10 per night. You have to drive past the hotel and double back to get to it. Look out for a large green gate. Press buzzer to connect to reception for entry. Exit gate on the right hand side, look for a button on the wall below to unlock the gate. 20second walk across to the hotel. Sports bat downstairs food was good and prompt as was service. service. Will Stay again.

I booked 4 rooms for our work team and was bowled over by the value and that was before the free minibar (no alcohol but cool retro sweets and drinks). Brilliant staff, simple bar menu but we enjoyed it nonetheless. I suspect the prices ramp up when United are playing at home as it is in the shadow of Old Trafford and United legends host Q&A’s Highly recommend this hotel

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel! Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Their cafe has good beer and great food and it’s within walking distance from the Old Trafford and Quays. We truly recommend Hotel Football to everyone!

Great location for football or cricket grounds! Has its own secure parking. Really clean, staff were friendly, great choice’s for breakfast & bar drinks! We didn’t use public transport, but there are plenty options around to get about. Large supermarket 10mins walk away & choice of takeaway foods around 5-10min walk

As always great place to stay for us and as friendly as ever Parking costs £15 a night but beware the brambles growing around the car park they are lethal!! Restaurant was very good but due to early flight we couldn’t enjoy breakfast 😞 Starting to show a few signs of wear and tear around the place particularly in the lifts

The hotel was located right next to Old Trafford which is the coolest part about it. The car park is several minutes away by car (just a few minute walk) which wasn't the most convenient. The room was fine, the shower drainage was very poor so had to take very quick showers so you weren't stood in 4 inches of water.

The rooms were clean with good showers. Disappointed with the breakfast. The amount paid for the breakfast does not equate to food served (in my opinion). To be honest Premier Inn breakfast is way better. Check in was awful. Requested for interlocking rooms but was given separate bedrooms. I did query but the lady who checked me in was very dismissive and did not show any interest to mention that the ''rooms are first come first serve''. I was able to attend my concert as the hotel was very close to the venue. On the whole the experience was okay.

The hotel was spotless. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable and a great selection for breakfast. Definitely up there as one of my favourite hotels to stay in. Will definitely be back.

This still is my favourite place to stay due to location and facilities available, but out of courtesy I feel I should provide constructive feedback: 1. CAFE/RESTAURANT - not sure why but tables are always sticky, like they were not cleaned properly or cleaned with just a damp cloth. This is not only my last stay, I noticed this during my 2 previous stays. 2. ROOM/TV- although you are one of few hotels I visited to provide all (even paid) sport channels your TV's need updating. My room had two tv remotes, non of them worked properly, TV /BOX kept freezing so after 3 reboots I gave up trying to watch TV.

Quirky football themed hotel with great staff. The free sweetie and Vimto mini-bar was a nice touch and if you're a football fan, you'll love the location. Room service menu was excellent. Our only issue was that a standard twin room felt small and hence seemed expensive for what it was but the rest of the facilities and the excellent staff compensated for it.

Really lovely hotel apart from one massive fault. The bedroom doors are the noisiest doors that slam hard unless you have kind guests who shut slowly. Got zero sleep because doors were slamming through the night and early in the morning. Seems like a huge oversight in the design. Massive bonus was the view of Old Trafford. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey. Loads of free treats in the room mini fridge was a lovely touch.

Was a pretty nice hotel. We got a decent deal but likely would not be worth the price during EPL season. Room was not ready at chk in and then forgot to let us know when it was ready. Staff was friendly and did compensate with some drink coupons so that helped. Items in mini fridge all complementary so that was nice (no booze). Wifi was spotty in the room so that could be better.

The hotel seemed new because it was so clean. Additional bonus - the proximity to the Man U stadion, perfect for MU supporters. We had some delicious supper in the restaurant downstairs - truly excellent. Our room was lovely but the only thing I didn’t like was the lack of shower handle in the bathroom; there was only top rain like attachment, not very strong, which was not convenient. But everything else, especially the staff was helpful and polite. We would go back there in future

From the moment we arrived every single member of staff was so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. We didn’t realise what time the breakfast was and unfortunately were a little late but they opened up the kitchen and a full English breakfast was served, fantastic service.

Always enjoy staying at Hotel Football it’s a friendly environment with great staff who really care about going the extra mile - had a slight problem with my TV and reception visited to sort after a few attempts it wasn’t happening and I was offered a room upgrade but was happy to just use my iPad and excellent free WiFi The young lady asked if I would like a complimentary drink and brought it straight back to my room along with a HF keyring - excellent customer service!! Really enjoyed fish n chips inc restaurant and again staff are a joy ! Breakfast was superb Lovely stay made better by staff - thank you very much!

Staff at check were amazing so friendly we had young children and they were very helpful Clean room, wonderful shower comfortable beds and the view of stadium was a dream come true for our son he was very excited, perfect location for stadium tour and match days we will be back

An unexpected joy or a stay, despite the Manchester United link. Close to the tram line, with easy access to town, just over the water from media city, this is well placed and easily accessible. Staff were warm, friendly and professional. The hotel was well maintained and generously proportioned, with a decent sized room, a big shower and a window looking out over the locale. Large, comfortable bed. Telly with loads of sport channels. A fridge with Vimto and Space Raiders (complimentary!) and a bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body butter - really nice stuff. Really an absolute joy of a stay and extremely reasonable price wise.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Football. We were made to feel really welcome upon checking in. The room (201) was fantastic, with a great view of Old Trafford and the river. There were complimentary snacks and water in the mini fridge and a couple of free drink vouchers on the table. There was also 2 nice Foo Fighters postcards which was a nice touch! We were attending a gig at the cricket ground and the hotel is ideally placed for a short walk to and from. It is only 5 minutes walk from a tram stop, with Media City just over the bridge. The bed was so comfortable and the rainfall shower was amazing and spacious. The TV had sport channels. We had breakfast too which was lovely, a full English with continental. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone, especially if you are attending an event or want to be close to Media City.

Great hotel, stayed here a few times now and usually have a positive experience. This time however I was a little dissapointed with the food. Several items on the menu weren't available both for dinner and breakfast. But other than that the room was comfortable and clean and the staff plesant and helpful.

The room was lovely and spacious however the TV didn’t work and the breakfast was very poor for £12.50. We were not given the option to have the cheaper options that were printed on the menu when we arrived. As the cooked breakfast was ordered, the portion arrived very small with a tablespoon of beans, the sausage was small and burnt and the bacon was chewy. I would expect better quality for £12.50.

Convenient for 02 Victoria Warehouse. Hubby is a Man Utd fan and he loved it and the view of the stadium from our room. King View room was great, clean and lovely big shower. Bed was comfy too! Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We had breakfast which we felt a couple of things could have been improved on. Sausage was hard and pain au chocolate a little stale/hard. But would definitely stay here again.

A warm welcome as we arrived. Information was given to enhance our stay about the concert we were seeing that night as well as facilities available afterwards for us at the hotel. The Cafe Football provides great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Treat yourself. Staff in all areas of the hotel were efficient and friendly. A great stay was had.
