Great place to stay. Dog friendly!

The AC would not go below 74 degrees, the room smelled awful, they have 3 treadmills all broken. When asked what happened the man at the desk looked at me like I had 3 heads and said “obviously they’re broke” My door wouldn’t open or close. Terrible experience

Though the service from the front desk and maintenance team were great, my family and I were extremely disappointed that we didn’t receive room service. Our trash was piling up, we needed fresh towels and linens, and sadly we didn’t receive room service after asking twice. A lady did come by once to clean the room, we asked if she could come by in an hour since we were getting ready, she agreed, so we promptly got ready to ensure that we were out within the hour, only to return later that evening after visiting family to find that our room hadn’t been touched. We also saw a roach which obviously reaffirmed why we wanted the room to be clean. There is also little to no parking if you arrive late. Other than these major issues, we really enjoyed the room, location, pool, & lounge, but because of those issues which definitely stuck out to my family and I, I don’t know if we would stay again or recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was OK, but not as good as expected. A/C unit in room did not cool very well. Pool was closed. Hotel was very clean.

Was in Lexington for a Professional Women’s Soccer game…Lexington SC of the USL SUOER league. The hotel was only minutes from the stadium and golfer our preferred ‘suite’ style. Everything was very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room(s) were spacious and nice. There was a full service kitchen, a nice bathroom, a nice-sized living room and large bedroom (King bed). Overall a ver good stay. The morning breakfast was fine, offering waffles…and then a buffet strike of eggs, sausage, bagels etc. It wasn’t the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was all very good, and again, the people working that area were friendly and great. I’d call this one a great value for the price compared to others in the area we’ve previously stayed with. Oh…small pool we didn’t use and an ‘ok’ gym. A few machines and some free weights. Again, not the best gym you’ll find but can get a decent workout here.

This is a very nice pet friendly hotel. And the oet fee is reasonabke, compared to many ither pkaces, which is why we stay here so often. Tons of things around, restaurants, shopping and grass to walk the dogs, also. The ONLY thing that disappointed was the breakfast. We stayed twice on this trip, once on the way North and then again in the way home. The breakfast was the same both times, which isnt really the problem. The main offering was sausage and biscuits, which we dont eat. ( If you like that, then you'd have been thrilled!) There were also scrambled eggs, which were ok, but the sausage was inedible. ( And, of course, there was the inevitable waffle maker, also something we dont eat. ) At just after 9 am ( breakfast went till 10 am), there was a single bagel and a few english muffins, which never got replenished. The oatmeal and coffee in breakfast room were very good, though. The coffee in the room was ok, but needed a few more setups, or some liquid creamers. The room was big, nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable! And they have a variety of frozen meals you can buy to heat in your room if you want. ( just not breakfast meals-- which might not be a bad idea!) We will stay here again, since we have tried most of the other hotels in that area and this is the best pet friendly one. The breakfast was not so bad i wouldnt go back! Ill just hope for some variety and edible breakfast meat!

The rooms were big, we always like suites. The staff was very nice. Since it’s an extended stay, there is some wear and tear on the rooms. Parking later at night wasn’t ideal, most spots taken.

This place was great super dog friendly close to where i needed to be. Very welcoming staff. I felt safe and comfortable. Clean and comfy room

It is a nice property but some of things were not in working order, one of the elevator broke and was not fixed for three nights, maybe due to the Thanksgiving holidays.

The property has definitely aged with no upgrades or renovations indside the guest rooms. The lack of cleanliness was a concern for me. The first room we were assigned had a pungent odor. We happen to look up and the ceiling had a lot of water stains. It was apparent there had been a leak some time ago and the room had not been assigned nor checked because the stains were dry and brown. Very doubtful that I would chose this facility again.

Hotel was nice, we were only there for one night. The common hallway by the stairs have an unpleasant smell of pet urine and mustiness.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly and polite. Overall the hotel was clean. The only thing that jumped out, while taking a shower in the morning, I noticed the water was not draining, thinking the stopper was blocking it, I opened that, alas, the stopper was fine, but there was a clog beneath which clearly had never been cleaned, it looked like someone tried to drown some sort of small furry animal. The hair clog was that bad. But otherwise the staff and estabilishment were fine

Room 210 has an extremely noisy heater. Had to turn it off to get to sleep an it was in the upper 30’s outside( it got cold in this room).

My son's hockey team stayed at the hotel for a weekend of hockey games. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a separate room from the living room and was VERY spacious. It was much larger than most hotel rooms. It was very comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a beautiful suite! Could have passed for a small apartment.

I asked my 14 year old son and husband what their rating would be? They both loved the hotel, they gave a 9 point rating. The Staff was terrific, Camden and the lady that served breakfast were incredible. The only issue was the noise if the other guest slamming doors, running down the halls and hearing full conversation outside the door. I don’t believe it was them but the thin walls of the hotel. We enjoyed our short getaway.

Outstanding front desk service! We were offered the option of which floor we wanted to stay on, which I appreciated. The breakfast in the morning was decent & everything was clean. Definitely a nice place to stay on our way to Green Bay.

Cameron (I think that was his name) is great. He checked us in both Saturdays that we stayed there. There was an issue with the room the first Saturday and he promptly moved us to another room. He’s very personable and has great customer service.

It must be difficult to work for TownePlace Suites. The employees were not really service oriented. The house keeping staff with one exception appeared disgruntled and disengaged. The front desk was a revolving door during our 5 night stay. Nobody asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. Even when we checked out they just took the keys, didn't ask for the room number or how our stay went. Cleaning is promised every other day, but you essentially still need to beg for it. Towels are mostly worn out. Breakfast is terrible as it is mostly carbs. The toppings for the oatmeal featured rancid walnuts and stale fruits and seeds. There are powdered eggs that you find at most hotels. Sausage gravy was a daily feature (did not risk tasting that). The nicest thing I can say about the breakfast is they used compostable plates and bowls. I would not stay there again as there are better options just across the street.

Stay was the best because of the service! Camden is outstanding. Will continue to stay in the future.

Brooke at check in was very friendly and so helpful. All the staff I spoke with were very nice. The suites were so clean and everything worked properly.

The motel itself is outstanding, clean, comfortable. When I chose this place I used Expedia, and I was looking for convenient location for one night, queen beds, and pet friendly. Nowhere in the booking was a pet fee mentioned; however I usually expect one. I disclosed our two small dogs upon checking in; no mention of fee or deposit. The cost of our room for four people was $141. And then, after checking out, I’m an hour down the road and check my emailed receipt where I see they charged me $75 FOR EACH DOG FOR A TOTAL OF $150 extra, for one night! This is robbery, sneaky, underhanded, and downright ridiculous.

This was a nice hotel for the money. In a great location with plenty of food and shopping options. We had a short 15 min drive to Kentucky Horse Park for an event. We would stay in this hotel again when in the area.

The place was located in a safe area. We also liked the surrounding areas for ease of restaurants. Fuel etc easy access to I-75.

Close to everything I like, restaurants and shopping. Convenient. Just far enough from the interstate. It’s my new home away from home when I’m in Lexington, Ky.

Lots of fast food restaurants in the area. Right of the highway. Very convenient.

In town for Railbird and this was an excellent home base. Breakfast had plenty of options and was a great start to our day.

Welcoming and friendly staff! Clean lobby, hallways, and room. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Decent breakfast, but would love some gluten-free options for toast or bagels. They do offer alternative milk options, which is nice. Noon checkout is a plus and worked out well since we got in late. 10/10 would reccommend and would stay here again

Very clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service. The only mildly inconvenient thing was there is no handicap ramp right at the entrance, but rather by the corners of the building. I still highly recommend this location.

There was no breakfast available when I went down at 930. Only cereal left. Wasn’t happy about that. But the bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchenette for ice and dishes

Room was spacious, comfortable, great location. safe, secure. staff wonderful, friendly. helpful. Bed comfortable, shower , bathroom, great. After booking found out pool was not available. Breakfast area, clean, open, inviting. Did not enjoy the breakfast selection. individual wrapped sandwich, sausage with cheder cheese, nor the cinnamon sugar waffles (too much sugar).the variety too small selection, no dry cereal available, Ended up with oatmeal. Orange juice good selection.. I heard the coffee was good. (by my wife).Our second day chose to eat elsewhere. otherwise the hotel was great.

Breakfast at property, with pre-made items in plastic bags being heated rather than fresh food was disappointing when compared with competition. Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn by Hilton both had superior accommodations and breakfast. Not up to level I would expect from a Marriott brand. Great friendly staff helped, but coud not overcome flaws. t First time trying a Towneplace, which has now moved well down my preference list.
