Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and good food incl breakfast at the Skybar & restaurant. Nice touches with free complimentary mini bar and access to the spa. Very convenient for events at BP pulse arena. Only negative is some areas of the Spa incl pool and showers need a deep clean and freshen up with paint.

Great hotel, enjoyed our stay, serviced was great. No issues with our stay. Heating worked well. Tidy rooms. Clean bathrooms. Only issue was the spa, they are limited on lounges, they allow to many people in at once, it was so busy you literally couldnt get into the steam rooms, saunas etc… nothing is monitored, people had the phones by the pool when were told your not allowed to. I wanted to use the jacuzzi but you had people in it 30-45 mins, even though on the door says to be mindful of others use only 15 mins. I shouldnt have to ask people to get out. Staff should be looking at these things, its not a relaxing spa at all! Its free for all.

Hotel room was very spacious, clean and has everything needed. The facilities on site were incredible- Jacuzzi, pool, sauna and the like. The fitness suite is one of the biggest I have seen for a hotel. Everything was just top quality. It is a big hotel so the only downside was getting around to and from your room to other areas. As you’re in resorts world, there are plenty of things to see and do and you’re right on the door step for the airport.

3rd time at this hotel, it is still the best in the area, however some maintenance issues in the changing rooms at the spa were very apparent. A lot of the keys didn't work on the lockers and there were some showers and toilets out of order. If not for that it would be 5 stars across the board once again.

Stayed in the genting suite and it was amazing. The room was so spacious and great value for the price. My only criticism would be that there wasn’t a balcony or terrace and that was the only thing that could have made this room any better. The spa was fantastic especially the outdoor hot tub. Staff were friendly and welcoming and check in was quick and easy.

I stay here every year. I feel really safe as a solo traveller. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The spa is amazing. Some wear i noticed in the room this time. Black in the corner of the bath. Its expensive due to Horse of the year being on but i do love the hotel. I recommend and will be back next year

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly and the staff were very helpful. The cleaning team deserve a mention and a huge thank you, as everything was spotless. The room was lovely and quiet and had a partial view of the lake. The use of the spa (complimentary with the room) was an added bonus, and the facilities are great. It's not the cheapest but it's certainly the best.

I already told you it was a total nightmare and disgusted to be honest and it was smelly old fusty broken switches human hair in shower and toilet and phlegm in the sink that was from a previous guest and I walked out the hotel very angry and upset and £209 a night was a complete rip off and never a 4 star hotel and if it had been called a youth hostel I would have said that was 100% correct!!! I arrived late at night and as soon as I saw the room and the filth and remains of human hair in the bathroom and shower it put me off and I felt dirtier leaving the so called hotel than when I arrived. I told the reception of my gripes and made it very clear this should never happen in a hotel especially with what they were charging. Outrageous and wonder who gave the star rating as there was nothing in the room nor its facilities that resembled a four star hotel and if I could give zero stars for hygiene and cleanliness that’s what I would have given Feel totally ripped off and very angry and expect compensation for this as I am a very good customer of hotels.com and spend fortunes all over the world in top hotels as you can see by the account I would advise you to take this hotel off your list to avoid more angry customers as this hotel is a run down mess and would certainly fire there housekeeping staff Better to know the facts to avoid this feedback in the future Very unhappy customer and having to waste time writing this review DR

Not good value for what you pay. Beds were not brilliant TV channels were bare minimum and shower temperature changes from hot to cold all the time. Have stayed here before and it was ok but they really need to look at what they are given for the price as it is not good.

We booked this hotel for its convenience to the BP Pulse concert and were excited to stay in the Penang deluxe double with sofa and minibar. Lazara was wonderful and welcoming when she brought us extra spa robes, she truly deserves recognition! Unfortunately, the aircon didn’t work, the room was unbearably stuffy, and despite repeated complaints nothing was fixed. Promises of maintenance and a room move were poorly handled, we were even forgotten about for over an hour. In the end, we lost our deluxe double and were downgraded to a smaller superior room. As a group of three, staff first suggested splitting us into separate rooms instead of giving us the interconnecting option we asked for, and only after I pushed back did they reluctantly agree. We didn’t really get what we paid for, and the lack of organisation and communication made the whole stay unnecessarily stressful.

The best thing about this hotel is the location in that you are literally across the road from the BP Arena if that is your purpose for visiting! The parking was easy (we used the multi storey which is only £10 for 24hours if you validate your ticket at hotel reception) It is located within the shopping centre but rooms are up high so no noise or disturbance. Everywhere is very clean and rooms are big and have everything you need (although everywhere looks a bit dated it’s not really a problem if you’re there for a short time as we were.) My biggest gripe would be the variation of room prices on different sites. You can book direct but prices change daily and we saw up to £50 variation for a one night stay, so be savvy if you’ve got time to shop around! Breakfast was good value, although on our stay the hotel was full so it was a bit chaotic at times with queues an replenishing food. All in all we were happy guests and would definitely stay here again if attending a concert at BP arena or visiting NEC.

Convenient hotel for the arena, greeted by a lovely receptionist who swiftly got us checked in. Breakfast was very disappointing again third time we have stayed here and every time is the same. Long wait, not enough staff, tables not cleared quickly enough, coffee cups and glasses not replenished went without a drink today because of this even after pointing this out to the staff. Really disappointing that this continues and spoils our stay

Lovely hotel and eelcoming staff at reception and cleaners were very friendly. Only issue we had during our stay was when we went for breakfast the hotel somehow checked us out. Even though it was about 2 hours before the checkout time and we didnt check out or even go to reception at that time. So when we went back to our room, we couldnt get in to get our things to check out and we had to clarify with the cleaners who we were so we could gain acess to the room for our things. While we were packing, cleaners also came into the room twice to do their job because they had us down as checked out. Checking out then felt a bit rushed for us as they wanted acess to the room even though we left before checkout time.

I would like to commend the front desk staff member (Young Gentlemen) who checked me in on 19 July 2025 at 1:30 PM. He was courteous, respectful, and provided excellent service, accommodating my request and even allowing me to choose my preferred room. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly stood out — far exceeding the service I’ve experienced at other Crowne Plaza IHG hotels during my travels from London to Birmingham to Glasgow as an Asian guest. Hotel staff were amazing...room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with the Genting casino staff during my visit for my birthday. I encountered rude and unprofessional behavior and I was feeling very distressed by this. However, the hotel staff completely turned my night around. Fabulous stay, lovely room, great staff on reception. Breakfast seemed short staffed, tables not cleared and had to ask for tea/coffee then had to take cups from another table, otherwise good. We booked this hotel for its convenience to the BP Pulse concert and were excited to stay in the Penang deluxe double with sofa and minibar. Lazara was wonderful and welcoming when she brought us extra spa robes, she truly deserves recognition! Unfortunately, the aircon didn’t work, the room was unbearably stuffy, and despite repeated complaints nothing was fixed. Promises of maintenance and a room move were poorly handled, we were even forgotten about for over an hour. In the end, we lost our deluxe double and were downgraded to a smaller superior room. As a group of three, staff first suggested splitting us into separate rooms instead of giving us the interconnecting option we asked for, and only after I pushed back did they reluctantly agree. We didn’t really get what we paid for, and the lack of organisation and communication made the whole stay unnecessarily stressful.

Great hotel for events at the Arena & NEC as it was across the road. You could access the train station via the NEC for arrivals from other areas or pop to the Bull Ring for shopping. Lots of things to do in the immediate area but yet the hotel was quiet for sleeping. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries. We had a great time and would come back again and stay 2 nights next time.

Really lovely hotel but hard to find. From the multi storey car park you go down in the lift and come out in a shopping mall. No directions but luckily you couldn’t turn right where we came out. Kept walking left and eventually found hotel. I wasn’t happy leaving car in a public car park. I have a health problem which requires a soft bed. I found the bed too firm but the hotel accommodated me by supplying a duvet to place under mattress protector which made it a little better. My sister was fine with the bed. I think most people would find them comfortable. If you need a walk-in shower or bath you need to let them know when booking. The staff were very nice on all occasions. Breakfast was very good. We booked into the hotel’s restaurant for our evening meal but it was extremely noisy. Definitely a younger persons vibe. It was a 10 minute walk to the NEC but once there it was quite a walk to hall 20 (but at least we were dry as it was pouring).

Went to an Arena Concert. Very easy parking, access to restaurants, short walk across road to VIP Access Arena. Clean, tidy, quiet'ish (airport nearby with occasional background noise but not all the time). Good sound proofing. Very good overall and will definitely use again.

The best thing about this hotel is the location in that you are literally across the road from the BP Arena if that is your purpose for visiting! The parking was easy (we used the multi storey which is only £10 for 24hours if you validate your ticket at hotel reception) It is located within the shopping centre but rooms are up high so no noise or disturbance. Everywhere is very clean and rooms are big and have everything you need (although everywhere looks a bit dated it’s not really a problem if you’re there for a short time as we were.) My biggest gripe would be the variation of room prices on different sites. You can book direct but prices change daily and we saw up to £50 variation for a one night stay, so be savvy if you’ve got time to shop around! Breakfast was good value, although on our stay the hotel was full so it was a bit chaotic at times with queues an replenishing food. All in all we were happy guests and would definitely stay here again if attending a concert at BP arena or visiting NEC.

Had to keep asking for milk, the cups, the glasses, cutlery. No juice had been refilled had to go and ask. Breakfast items such as bacon etc were slow at being replaced. They did make a reduction in the bill.

The hotel was great the rooms were big and comfortable with nice amenities. The staff were very good and helpful. The huge letdown was the breakfast at £15 a head was truly atrocious. The staff were doing the best they can and were not the issue. The whole thing is badly laid out and disorganised. First of all they only use half the restaurant which is totally inadequate for the amount of diners coming for breakfast. Everyone is crammed in virtually on top of each other. The food areas were small narrow and not enough room to move. The cold food was ok but the hot food was diabolical. Most things empty. No choice of eggs it’s either scrambled or nothing unless you’re willing to flag down a staff member and have eggs made specifically for you. Beans were watery. The bacon when you could get some was as tough as leather. It was totally awful and not worth the price they charge. I’ve had better at a premier inn. The only really good thing was a decent selection of fresh fruit. All in all a totally horrible experience. By all means stay at the hotel it is excellent but do not have breakfast go somewhere else. You’d get better at a motorway diner.
