Spa Beerland Chateaux – U Zlaté Hrušky / At Golden pear

It’s a nice place to stay! It’s a different experience being in a beer spa, so definitely recommend it! The staff is friendly, and it’s great to have a free good beer from time to time while you're there. Only found it a bit noisy at night, with the bell sound, when the hotel is full.

Just a brilliant stay; wonderful staff, went out of their way to help. Amenities were clean and upgraded. My room was at the top of the house so I had a small patio garden to sit in. Probably the only thing was it was rather hot in the establishment due I believe to the heat emanating from the beer spas etc for customers in the lower level. The Spa Hotel itself was in a PERFECT position; for getting to old town on foot, crossing the river, night life, hop on hop off cruises, wonderful restaurants etc. Prague did not disappoint. A positive delight whether you wanted a beer spa or you didn’t (like me). 5 stars all around and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel with spa reservations booked for both of us, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. We had traveled a long distance that day, and the evening spa appointment was something we were truly looking forward to and desperately needed. However, immediately after arriving, we were informed that the spa was unavailable due to a technical issue. The reception staff claimed that the manager had contacted us earlier, but we never received any call, email, or message whatsoever. The hotel then offered to cover taxi expenses so we could visit another location for the spa instead. After a long and exhausting trip in very cold weather, my wife and I were simply too tired for that option and decided to stay in the room, take a warm shower, and rest instead. Unfortunately, the hot water in our room was also not working. We were forced to spend the entire night without being able to shower at all. To make matters worse, the reception closed at 8 PM, and there was absolutely no way to contact anyone for assistance afterward. The next morning, we spoke with a manager named Dominic. He apologized for the situation and promised us a partial refund as compensation. However, even after we returned home, that promise was never fulfilled. We are extremely disappointed with the level of service and handling of this situation. This was not a minor inconvenience — it completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing stay after a long journey. I am leaving this

Very close to the 22 tram. Nice bed and bathroom.

The location is very close to major Old Town attractions. It is 5 5-minute walk from the tram stops 22 and 23. Getting around is easy. However, there is not much in immediate proximity. I had an issue with my room, and the reception team and management quickly moved me to a better one. The reception ladies were very friendly and responsive. A few things to know about the establishment: 1. There is no daily housekeeping. It is on demand. If needed, the staff will respond quickly. 2. There are no toiletries, a hair dryer, etc. in the room. 3. The towels are hand towels, and there are no bath (large towels). 4. There is free home-made beer :-)
