The McMillian Inn was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. My teenage daughter and I traveled together and felt it was safe to wander around by foot to shopping and the DOT bus stop was super close. The owners were helpful, polite, and present. We highly recommend this famiky owned B&B and will definitely be back. My only word of warning is that the upper level rooms are up a tight, long staircase & that along with the clawfoot tub is not for the elderly.

Wonderful place to stay for a long weekend, the McMillan Inn is situated in a charming residential neighborhood, and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. There are stairs to climb to get to the lobby and to some rooms. The Inn is beautiful, loved the antiques, very charming. Breakfast was delicious and there were fresh cookies and tea available. We used the pool, it's small, but there is a lovely patio and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy some quiet outside time. I highly recommend, and hope to go back sometime soon.

We stayed at the McMillan Inn for 2 nights and at the Bellwether House for 2 nights. Hands down, recommend staying at the Bellwether House instead of McMillan Inn. The pool was very dirty and unusable at McMillan Inn. The staff is only there until 7pm. You could hear other guests while in your room and it wasn't very private. The shower was so small you could barely move. The toilet in our room was constantly running. The house itself is very charming but overall would not stay here again.

The house is very pretty and the decor helps to enhance the feel of just how old the house is. However, our room was on the third floor which would have been no problem except my mom had hurt her hip just before our trip and the stairs were difficult for her to get up and down- this house does not have an elevator. The location near Forsyth park is excellent- the parking was not very great as it is street parking and you have to contend with street sweeper days if you are there on Monday night or Wednesday night- another difficult situation when you are with someone who is not very mobile. The breakfast was fantastic each morning and overall it is a very nice bed and breakfast.

Beautiful southern home. Host was so friendly and accommodating. GREAT breakfast every morning. Forsyth Park within a 5-minute walk. Only slight issue are the steps to the home and steps within the home. It was a bit difficulty with luggage, but the staff was very willing to help. A great stay!!

This was my third Christmas trip to the McMillan Inn. In a city with lots of choices, this one is consistently outstanding. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the breakfasts are varied and delicious, and the staff is very helpful. I like the location because it is quiet, and a good walking distance to just about anything in the historic district. I park my car and never move it!

Eric and Melissa are wonderful hosts and Inn Keepers! So welcoming Ming, friendly, warm and reassuring in a strange place. The Inn and room were great immaculate and cleanest I have experienced. The breakfast were delicious and you felt like royalty being served. Anna was helpful and guided us to know how to experience Savannah Gracious , warm and and a blessing to all who they serve!

Our bed and room were clean. Our bathroom had a used wash cloth and used bar of soap, I don’t think the shower was cleaned. The breakfast was ok, ate it once and then opted to eat out. The daily treats were old. The shortbread was there upon our arrival and still there on our departure, 5 days. The area was nice. The staff were friendly.

The bed was comfy, water was hot, and the WiFi worked. This was a very charming home, perfect for a short getaway. We got to meet the owner who is an amazing lady. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond, offering help with things we didn't even think to ask about. The breakfast was delicious too. We're already talking about when we'll go back.

the hotel was lovely and clean. Our room, Whitaker, was a bit cramped though. I thought that if some of the smaller decorative (non-essential) items were removed there would be more room for our bags and belongings. An extra hook or two would be great! No place to hang a wet towel or bathing suit. We enjoyed the common areas, especially the front porch.

Nice location, friendly staff. Our room was very clean and decorated to the period of the home. Breakfast was good, a savory and sweet dish with each meal, kind of heavy but they did offer a fruit bowl and yogurt with granola. We loved that coffee and baked treats were available all day. Biggest complaint was the bed, old and saggy and the bedding was just as bad. I prefer a duvet where they change the cover, this had a thick decorative comforter that we turned way down and then an old patchwork quilt. Sheets were fine, pillows were horrible. Definitely did not feel luxurious in any way, which was not fitting for the reputation the inn.

Shower had a rainfall head which did not work and the handheld spray could not be secured for use without hands. Mirror over sink was very small. Lighting in room and bathroom was very dim. Cable TV and internet was not available on the last morning of our stay. Attempted to contact staff via phone but no one answered.

The McMillan Inn provides the best of a hotel experience (clean, luxurious, private rooms) combined with a homecooked breakfast and the friendliness of a neighborhood community. We had several thoughtful conversations with staff who were always willing to provide great tips on local sites or just checkin with us and see how our day was going. A great experience all around. For reference, we stayed in the Telfair Room and having our own private entrance was an additional detail we liked though this is not necessary as there is a code to access the main doors after hours.

We booked 2 nights. We slept maybe a total of 4 hours during our stay. The bed was the most miserable thing I have EVER slept on. The bed needs a box spring or something to support the center. The shower tub was the worst. You felt like you were going to fall out of the tub while showering. You just have good needs and balance. Also no place for you toiletries while in the shower. It said that we will never return because of these issues. The place is super cute.

This is a beautiful B&B in a lovely victorian section of Savannah. I felt like I was staying in a museum with all of the beautiful antiques! I stayed in the Drayton suite which is on the 1st floor of the inn. This has a king bed and is a nice room however the window and outside door were blocked so we did not have any natural light. I think if I stay here again I would choose another room. The hosts were pleasant and breakfast was good. It is a mile from the river but if you have no problem walking it is a nice walk for sightseeing.

The bed was comfy, water was hot, and the WiFi worked. This was a very charming home, perfect for a short getaway. We got to meet the owner who is an amazing lady. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond, offering help with things we didn't even think to ask about. The breakfast was delicious too. We're already talking about when we'll go back.

We had little interaction with the staff. We were directed toward our room and received only a token welcome. Breakfast was excellent. The inn is located about a mile from the river front and shopping. Savannah has free trolley service (dot) 7 am to 7 pm. There are lots of tours available. in town. The inn is quiet but parking is on street only and on certain nights you have to move your vehicle to a different location due to street sweeping. Our room was as advertised. very comfortable and elegant.

Booked 2 nights here for our Honeymoon visit to Savannah, with many options in the historic district, picked McMillan on a whim and am SO GLAD we did!! Beautiful Inn, gorgeous rooms, delicious treats and breakfasts… staff and owners went above and beyond, friendly, helpful, even helped us find places to check out in the city based on our interests. Liked it here so much we came back for an additional night before leaving town! 10/10 what a gem, would happily stay here again!! If you consider McMillan…JUST BOOK IT!! :-D

The staff at the Mcmillan House is amazing! An example of how amazing is: A member of the staff saw my husband and I loading our luggage to head to the airport. He asked if we'd eaten before we left and we didn't have time. He asked us to wait, while he boxed two meals for us to go. I'm so glad he caught us! The absolute most delicious fried chicken and grits we've EVER had! This same thoughtfulness is a constant theme in this house. This was our first time in Savannah and it won't be the last. The McMillan house is a MUST while visiting Savannah. Two blocks away from the dot (free bus line), Forsyth Park, and a multitude of other historical sites.

Melissa and Eric are such wonderful hosts, it's like you are their immediate friends. This was our first stay at a B&B and it did not disappoint. Our room was big, clean, and comfy. The bathroom was spotless and had tons of big, fluffy towels and some toiletries and a hair dryer. We had a wonderful, all you can eat breakfast served to us each morning and had coffee, sweet tea, and snacks available all day. We needed to check out but not be to the airport for a few hours on our last day and Melissa kindly offered to let us keep our luggage at the Inn and wander Savannah for our last few hours. She said we were welcome to come back to the Inn if we needed to use the restroom or wanted some tea or a snack. The Inn is in an area that is a little quieter so it's perfect to come back to after all the fun and hustle-bustle of exploring but is perfectly walkable to all kinds of fun and interesting spots. My husband and I walked home late at night each night and felt perfectly safe. It was a fantastic trip, and I highly recommend McMillan Inn!

Eric and Melissa are wonderful hosts and Inn Keepers! So welcoming Ming, friendly, warm and reassuring in a strange place. The Inn and room were great immaculate and cleanest I have experienced. The breakfast were delicious and you felt like royalty being served. Anna was helpful and guided us to know how to experience Savannah Gracious , warm and and a blessing to all who they serve!

We stayed at the McMillan Inn for 2 nights and at the Bellwether House for 2 nights. Hands down, recommend staying at the Bellwether House instead of McMillan Inn. The pool was very dirty and unusable at McMillan Inn. The staff is only there until 7pm. You could hear other guests while in your room and it wasn't very private. The shower was so small you could barely move. The toilet in our room was constantly running. The house itself is very charming but overall would not stay here again.

This was our first experience of staying at a bed and breakfast. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted to go some place special and little did we know what a treat we were in for! Eric and Melissa were absolutely wonderful host and always very helpful with giving us suggestions for dinner and activities. They truly set the bar very high for our next bed and breakfast. Actually my husband and I have already talked about making them an annual trip! We love this property and the house was gorgeous! The food was outstanding!! The gouda bacon grits were out of this world! I forgot to get the recipe from Melissa before we left. Thank you both so much for a wonderful and very memorable anniversary! Tony & Jenn Burrows

Wonderful place to stay for a long weekend, the McMillan Inn is situated in a charming residential neighborhood, and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. There are stairs to climb to get to the lobby and to some rooms. The Inn is beautiful, loved the antiques, very charming. Breakfast was delicious and there were fresh cookies and tea available. We used the pool, it's small, but there is a lovely patio and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy some quiet outside time. I highly recommend, and hope to go back sometime soon.

So happy we chose to stay here instead of the usual large chain hotel. The personalized service, location and unique charm of the Mcmillan Inn is unmatched. It is walking distance from everything and parking was very easy as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Victorian Inn. Accommodations are gorgeous and the gourmet breakfast is amazing. There is always left over food in the butlers pantry for a snack. The walk to River street isn’t terribly far. You can drive and use public parking that isn’t too expensive. We would definitely recommend staying at the McMillan Inn when traveling as a couple.

When booking I wanted a true Savannah feel and this is exactly what I was hoping for! Two houses combined together and the room we had was grand, clean, well decorated. Felt like a piece of history. Check in and out were easy. The neighborhood is so cute and we walked to the river while enjoying the streets of Savannah. Highly recommend!

Beautiful southern home. Host was so friendly and accommodating. GREAT breakfast every morning. Forsyth Park within a 5-minute walk. Only slight issue are the steps to the home and steps within the home. It was a bit difficulty with luggage, but the staff was very willing to help. A great stay!!

The house and room were quiet, comfortable, and within an easy and short walking distance to Forsyth Park and cafes. Beautiful ~135 year old home well appointed with period style furniture. Our room (the Drayton), however, was mostly outfitted with new furniture in historic style. Would have been a better rating overall if the breakfast wasn’t so terribly mundane - main “savory” course was Oscar Meyer cheese filled sausages and scrambled powdered eggs with a light drizzle of cheap cheese sauce. A disappointing end to our 1 night stay… We expected a more unique Southern fare.

Overall, disappointed. We have stayed at similar category B&B's in Savannah over the years. Check in was smooth and the house manager professional. Our room was oddly and awkwardly furnished, and not very comfortable. Breakfast, only served at one 9:15 am seating (a bit late for those with activities or travel planned) with no food variation, and frankly was not very good - over spiced scrambled eggs, unappetizing thick pork gravy over biscuit as the "meat dish". There are better choices to stay in Savannah at similar price points.

Amazing BnB with great breakfasts daily. Each morning starts off with a fruit cup, yogurt with granola and honey, a choice of different juices, and finally a wonderful home cooked breakfast with of mix of sweet and savory dishes. The owners are very lovely and personable. Definitely recommend.

Nice property, clean and within 30 min walk from riverfront and bull street. Breakfast was good but only served at 9:15, not very accommodating. Also, no water available in the kitchen. Only got two bottles in the room mini-fridge for the entire stay. Overall, it was a good experience.

Everything was amazing. We stayed in the Pulaski room which was gorgeous. The breakfast was possibly the best I’ve had in a long time, and was served by the owner. If I go back to Savannah I will stay here again.
