Nice room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The TV wasn’t great as it kept cutting out and the WiFi was quite slow even though I signed up to the “faster” one. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Weve just got home after a fantastic stay at the Adagio Birmingham. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious for the three of us. Air con was a particular bonus. Really comfy, huge bed. Breakfast was plentiful and catered well for our daughter who is coeliac. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldnt have done enough for us. Shout out to Lorraine who was on breakfast duty Friday morning. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here as its literally a stones throw from the Bull Ring and near to the O2 Institute, bus station, train station etc. If driving, the discount at Moor Strret is well worth it. We will definitely be staying again..

I strongly recommend that you avoid this hotel. The staff are rude & ruined our stay which was for a birthday weekend. They also tell lies. The Adagio Apart Hotel, Digbeth is marketed as being Pet friendly, and requests that you call in advance to confirm that your pet is joining. I did this and was told that there was a charge of £6.00 per night for a dog and that the hotel was very pet friendly and that were no restrictions on access to dogs in the hotel, including the breakfast room. I booked three nights. When we checked in with our small & very sweet dog, the person at the check in confirmed what I had been told on the phone, and indeed asked me if I wanted to book breakfast (it was cheaper than doing so retrospectively) and that whilst there was no charge for the dog he was welcome. However our experience this morning was very different.I sat at the back of the room with the dog away from all food. There were other customers there who had no problem with the dog. The lady Lorraine cooking the food was very nice & again had no problem with the dog. However another Adagio person, Peter was extremely rude about the dog, and basically wanted us out of the breakfast room. He came across as an individual who just doesn't like dogs. His intervention ruined our breakfast and we left with it half eaten. As a consequence I decided to cancel breakfast for the next two mornings. Jack the shift mgr was condescending, obnoxious and lied to us. He shouldn't ever be front of house.
