A real gem in Ocean Grove! It’s a small hotel that is extremely clean, well decorated, and very chic! The rooms have all modern amenities, a great shower, and beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are all included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a hotel 2 blocks from the beach, this is hard to beat. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay!

We had a fabulous stay at the newly renovated Hotel Albatross! It’s a stunning property that has the old charm Ocean Grove is known for, plus modern touches and updated features. The common areas are gorgeous, and the rooms feel super luxurious (without a hefty price tag). The staff was beyond attentive and friendly, and the shared beach amenities (chairs, towels, umbrellas, and bikes) were a major perk. It’s also a block-and-a-half walk away from the beach, for added convenience. I’d love to stay again!

We were lucky enough to be one of Hotel Albatross's first guests as we checked in on their opening day, July 15! From the moment we stepped foot onto the gorgeous property, we were treated with such friendly care from the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. The interior design and furniture are modern, the beds are super comfortable and the semi-private balcony is a fabulous way to watch Ocean Grove life go by with a glass of wine. The Salt & Stone bath products are heavenly as well! Your stay also includes bicylces, beach passes and comfy beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach only 2 blocks away! We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Every night there was something fun going on, from wine tastings to ice cream socials, which made the evenings extra special. Our second-floor balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing morning coffee. Highly recommend for a laid-back beach getaway!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We called around 11 to ask if we can check in early and we were told that our room was ready and we can check in at any time. Upon arriving, we were greeted with warm smiles. We were offered coffee or tea as well as croissants and scones free of charge. We were then given a small tour of the space and escorted to our room. The rooms are small and cozy with beautiful brand new bathrooms. Every detail was thought about right down to the in room coffee. The owners go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The front porches on both the main level and second floor are lovely to have your morning coffee or happy hour wine. They offer beach chairs, umbrellas and beach passes all free of charge. We cannot wait to go back.

The lobby is very lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room was super comfy, the coffee and pastries were delicious. We were able to walk to the music festival and avoided spending $45 on an Uber. We were very pleased with our choice of places to stay. The town is adorable. We highly recommend this hotel.

This was our first time traveling with our 1 year old. This hotel was the best experience I could ask for! The place was stunning and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Having free access to beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes was amazing! I will glady be returning here on our next trip to Ocean Grove!

This place is one of my favorite hotels in the whole South Jersey area. I was very surprised from the moment I walked in to see that beautiful decor and a brand new renovated hotel. Freshly cleaned sheets very comfortable beds with a rustic elegant style, staff was amazing. I highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at The Albatross. Front desk staff were excellent. Super friendly and accommodating. Hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was fantastic. Location was great. Walking distance to beach, shops and dining. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This hotel is a dream! It was recently remodeled and everything is pristine and new. The beds and pillows could not have been more comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend this place!

Great location. Newly renovated. Our ‘comfy’ was small, but well appointed, clean and comfortable. Only issue are the ‘thin’ walls. We could hear everything that’s going on in the rooms around us. Even with semi hushed voices, every cough, flush, conversation etc. seemed like it’s right next to you.

Opulence —I feel I can use this word to describe this experience, this hotel and the details invested in its presentation. I stayed at a few of the nicer hotels around the country, including the Bellagio in Vegas, but I felt something very special here at the Hotel Albatross…We plan on going every year.

It was a nice stay but unfortunately i booked the junior room and was given an even smaller room than that. My room was not the same roon in pictures. Disappointed. I feel i got shorted . Not even a chair in my room no place to put anything.

Our stay was amazing! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the Ocean Grove/Asbury Park area. The hotel was gorgeous and our room was clean and comfortable. The beach chairs and beach cruisers provided by the hotel are a must-have. The staff was nice enough to pick us up from the train station and let us use beach passes and held our belongings after checkout. Big thank you to Dominick, Bill, Kelsey and the rest of the staff at the Albatross! We hope we can come back soon!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We called around 11 to ask if we can check in early and we were told that our room was ready and we can check in at any time. Upon arriving, we were greeted with warm smiles. We were offered coffee or tea as well as croissants and scones free of charge. We were then given a small tour of the space and escorted to our room. The rooms are small and cozy with beautiful brand new bathrooms. Every detail was thought about right down to the in room coffee. The owners go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. We had a fabulous stay at the newly renovated Hotel Albatross! It’s a stunning property that has the old charm Ocean Grove is known for, plus modern touches and updated features. The common areas are gorgeous, and the rooms feel super luxurious (without a hefty price tag). The staff was beyond attentive and friendly, and the shared beach amenities (chairs, towels, umbrellas, and bikes) were a major perk. It’s also a block-and-a-half walk away from the beach, for added convenience. I’d love to stay again!

Great location. Newly renovated. Our ‘comfy’ was small, but well appointed, clean and comfortable. Only issue are the ‘thin’ walls. We could hear everything that’s going on in the rooms around us. Even with semi hushed voices, every cough, flush, conversation etc. seemed like it’s right next to you.

The lobby is very lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful, the room was super comfy, the coffee and pastries were delicious. We were able to walk to the music festival and avoided spending $45 on an Uber. We were very pleased with our choice of places to stay. The town is adorable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel! Check in was smooth & the staff were wonderful. The location is perfect, the hotel spotless & the beds are comfortable. The only issue we had was the noise level. We stayed in room 304. The guests that were staying in the room directly above us were very loud between 2am to 3am. It actually sounded like furniture was being moved around for 1 hour. Then the cleaning of that same room started at 8:50am the next morning, vacuuming included. Very loud and too early for guests staying in the room below that would like to sleep in after not sleeping well. We went home very tired. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star experience.
