Awesome location just a block from the beach. Cool open air patio area. Pool/hot tub is at sister hotel a block away. No TVs in the rooms seems quaint until it’s Sunday morning and there’s football to be watched. Overall though, we really liked it and would stay there again!!

Nice property for the price. You'll need to account for valet parking cpsts; which weren't aware of. The room was a bit cold (went in December). The only heat source was a space heater. Loved the location and and decor. Staff were all amazing. Would book again.

This place is situated right on the Coast Highway and easily walkable to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The Laguna Beach free trolley transit stop is a block away. And, use of the “sister” property’s pool, hot tub and beach access is wonderful. It’s an older building which has been renovated nicely. Rooms are very small but that’s to be expected for the age of the property.

We enjoyed the hotel and the pool/Jacuzzi of the sister company. The hotel was very chill and a great place to relax, loved the courtyard area! The room was small but well appointed, nice shower and the bed was very comfortable. Be prepared to pay a nightly resort fee. Great location!

Beautiful room and grounds including lobby, library, deck and courtyard. Just up the block from the Orange Inn for excellent breakfasts and The Taco Stand for some outstanding tacos. Also, the stairs down to the beach are just out the back door and a few steps away. We had a wonderful time!

The SCP Seven4One is a small boutique hotel with a great location and very friendly staff! However not sure where the 4 stars and the higher price point come in. The hotel does not have a lobby and the partner hotel seems to be undergoing major renovations. Having to pay a resort fee on top of taxes and fees seemed excessive.

Beautiful place & excellent staff. We were upgraded to a suite and the bed & pillows were great, stream shower was a nice plus, the upstairs balcony was perfect for sunsets cocktails. We enjoyed the no TVs, library and courtyard vibes. Very pleased with the stay. Would visit again.

The hotel was a boutique hotel. Decorated well with some inviting common areas, including a deck with a partial ocean view (no sunset view though). A great deal for the location (by beaches and very walkable to downtown). Access to the pricier hotel’s pool and beach chairs/umbrellas make it worth it. Rooms are basic but very comfortable. Call ahead as soon as you are close so they know to meet you at the valet which is in the alley in the back. I’d stay there again.

Location and property are awesome, and yes the room does NOT have a TV. Staff is amazing after you find them. This hotel is ran almost like an air bnb. It would be best to arrive at Laguna Beach House hotel to Valet your car and check in. staff will then walk you next door to your room. You will be charged for amenities such as the pool, walkway to beach, chairs and umbrellas that are located at the laguna beach house so plan to use them.

Location is great, right next to shops and dining. No need to cross the PCH to get to the beach. Access to the surf lodge next door with a ramp to the beach, pool, and enormous hot tub make SCP fun and convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ocean view suite was very large and had nice features such as a huge steam shower. Would recommend and stay again!

This is a 9/10 experience. Awesome facility, great beach access, clean rooms. Only thing stopping it from being a 10/10 was parking needed to be paid for. Wouldn’t stop me from going again AT ALL. Love this place.

We came to celebrate an anniversary. Super clean boutique hotel. We were given complimentary cocktails upon check in. We stayed in the Ocean view suite which was next to the public deck so very convenient spot to enjoy our free drinks. Hotel is centrally located, good pricing. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was great for a weekend. Couldn’t be closer to the beach and walkable to all the shops downtown. If I was there longer I’d miss more amenities. Everything was very clean which is #1 priority. I would stay here again.

We had such an amazing time at this hotel. Everything is walking distance, the hotel its self is beautiful and so clean. You essentially just have a code for everything which makes it so easy. The staff we did work with checking ( Ariana) was so sweet & helpful. We are planning to come back again this summer!

Overall decent hotel and I would stay again. Cleanliness was initially an issue but was addressed. They also don’t have someone at the desk full-time as they have a sister hotel nearby that they go back and forth between. That’s not ideal. The towels and bath rags could also be upgraded. But they are proactive at getting it right once you’re there. Parking is also a challenge.

We were not told before we got there you have to check in at their sister hotel about a block away. Also very hard to locate the hotel in the middle of the block with low profile sign. The place was nice but no tv or elevator.

This is not a 4 star property. It felt more like an upscale hostel. It was noisy with light pouring in and no A/C except for a portable unit that was too loud to sleep with it on. Nice location and nice people but not what I was expecting for the price and the rating.

This property went above and beyond. I was not happy with the location of my first room and they were able to accommodate me with a room that had more windows and I found amazing. Jimmy the manager along with Ellie are very professional and empathetic to my needs. They were very kind and always had a smile. This is now my favorite hotel in Laguna beach and I have tried very many. This place and more so the people is more than a place to stay but quiet the whole experience.

Although the location is great and the hotel is nice itself , the parking situation is a little inconvenient and the staff is not there all the time to help with guests needs. You need to call on your personal phone to get a hold of the receptionist. It was an overall good stay but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff had the best energy and everyone was super kind and helpful. The location is perfect, right by the beach and lots of great restaurants. The room was clean and decorated super cute and attention to detail was evident. I’d definitely stay here again.

once we got the hang of how things run we were quite comfortable, room was awesome, very comfortable. We were within walking distance to main beach, The shopping district, did not have to use car, parking at some of the venues is hard to find. I needed the walks so it was a win win for me. We had a really good time met a lot of nice people while there, yes we would return.
