We were very disappointed with the room view—it was facing a plain wall, with no view of the street or even the sky. It felt claustrophobic, almost like being in a prison cell. The fitness center had a good range of equipment, exceeding our expectations in terms of variety. However, most of it was poorly maintained. The elliptical machine made loud noises, and the Smith machine was wobbly. A little maintenance could go a long way here. On the positive side, the front desk was quick and helpful, and the room was clean and well-kept.

The Aventura Hotel property and staff were excellent. The open air entrance to the rooms was a different experience, but not negative in the least. The rooms were very clean and the accommodations were a great value. The area of location was a little concerning to my wife, but we did not have any issues. Night Security on premises. Secure parking garage under location. Overall, great experience. Would definitely stay again!

The reason I like this hotel is because there is FREE PARKING. Plus the front desk is very nice and helpful and the place is very clean. There are quirks about it, but I really don’t care because the rooms are clean and nice and easy to check in. In DTLA not only are the hotels more expensive, the hotels charge $45-65/night for parking, plus “resort fees” that are often not disclosed until check out.

Staff was very kind & rooms were clean. Unfortunately parking was pretty difficult (and often full) and the area around it did not feel safe. Elevator from parking garage right into the hotel floors without a key swipe seems like a security concern & there were loud people in the open air courtyard/balconies. Gym was one of the best I've ever seen at a hotel if it were maintained but some of the cables and benches were broken in a dangerous way and the water machine only produced hot water.

I have previously stayed here before and had no problem. This time, the room that I stayed at lacked cleaning . The control for the tv had yellow mold like in between the buttons and it was disgusting. There was dust around the room, and it seemed like it was not cleaned properly. This made me doubt if the bed bedding’s was changed or efforts put into cleaning the room.

The room looked clean. I slept there all night woke up the next morning and there was something odd growing from the baseboard in the wall. It was a mushroom disgusting 4 inches must be so much mold behind that wall mushrooms grow out room 419.

The staff was lovely. I didn’t expect much at these prices. They have nice touches like the Nespresso machine that you would find at upscale hotels. Room was spotless. The old adage does not apply here you get a lot more than you payed for. The only thing that I would suggest is that you bring your own pillow. At these prices that’s the least you can do. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, not something you expect staying in the city. I have to come back to Los Angeles and will definitely book again. If you’re worried that you would find a crappy hotel at this price point. Book the room and you will be pleasantly surprised, just like I was.

The room we paid for was supposed to have a queen bed. It had a full size bed. There were no standard pillows on the bed. The bathroom floor and shower floor did not look clean. There were stains on the floor throughout the hallway. We asked to be moved to a different room. The front desk staff refused.

Ick! Checked out 1 night early. Cockroaches in guestroom. I dont think the sheets were fresh on the bed, found hairs when i pulled back the duvet. Couldnt sleep here. Picked this hotel because it advertised that it has EV chargers. All it has are two plugs...you have to bring your own charger & cable. Have stayed here years ago, and it was nice. It has gone down hill. Looks worn and dirty. TV would bot get any local or network stations. We were accousted by a lady in the elevator that wanted us to accept Jesus Christ. She was very aggressive. I doubt they will refund the unused night, but needed to get out of there. Hope my luggage wasnt infested with cockroaches.

The rooms are nice and the lobby is well appointed. The interior courtyard structure gives everything a bit of a motel feel, however, and can get pretty loud due to echoing. Staff seemed nice but room service failed to provide fresh towels or remake our beds for the duration of our stay (2 nights). The location in K-town means easy access to what that neighborhood has to offer (mostly Korean restaurants and shops) but that's about it: anything else requires an Uber or figuring out the bus system.

I didn't know what to expect from this hotel for there were mixed reviews. However, as soon as I walked into the lobby and interacted with the front desk, I felt relieved. Friendly clerk, clean hotel made me feel welcomed. Room was clean. Spacious remodeled bathroom was a huge plus. Nespresso coffee was great. There were some noise you can hear through the walls but wasn't too bad. Parking below the hotel was super great. It was clean, well lit and seemed newly remodeled.

I am not super picky when it comes to hotels. I need it close to what I am doing, safe and clean. I got this hotel for a conference at Loyola Law and it was the best rate within a few miles. I really like this hotel. It is just off a major street but you dont get the noise from it. The bed was nice, but the bedding was fab. Super soft flat sheet and a very soft fleece blanket instead of the usual hotel cardboard. So it wasnt heavy but was very cozy. The shower was roomy (i hate any hotels with curtains anymore and this had a glass partition). The stairs were easy to access ( i dont use elevators, so I look for smaller hotels and easy stair access) The staff were very friendly and everything was easy peasy. I would def stay here again.

Super responsive! My shower head was leaking and I made staff aware. They jumped right on it. It was the day of thanksgiving and the part they needed they couldn't access it. But they figured out a way to make it work and the water pressure returned in the shower! Thank yall so much. Very simple hotel. They have security onsite which made me feel more at ease. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. They do not have free breakfast and gym but I rather take free parking then free breakfast/gym anyday. Thank you to the staff for making my stay comfortable, especially to housekeeping for keeping the hotel clean and beautiful. I will be back again!

Not recommended for business travelers. Check-in at 3 pm and check-out at 11 am limit flexibility as other hotels allow you to check in at 2 pm and check out at 12 pm. Privacy was a major issue; a staff member entered my room without warning while I was showering, followed by a cleaning staff intrusion. I found this gem two years ago and have been coming here ever since. My husband and I wanted a hotel close to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights and in 2023, finally found the perfect spot. The staff is friendly, the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the price is extremely reasonable. I love it here and will continue to come back every year!

We stayed on the 3rd Fl, which has a beautiful outdoor courtyard. It’s great for getting fresh air without LA noise. The room was newly renovated where everything works well. Lots of restaurants nearby, but you need a car. I’m giving it 4 stars because they don’t have breakfast.

Quiet, heart of k town, rooms are clean and location is great and have a underground parking. But the area is not the safest place to walk around after sunset. They need to give a guide on outdated TV channels, I had to press buttons on the back of TV to get the chnnels working and some channels listed bear the phone was no longer available. No pool or spa, but they give free water and nespresso coffee. Also AC unit is not central cooling, it's loud when it starts

The hotel itself was great, HOWEVER, please beware that if you need food or necessities, it does not appear safe to walk around this neighborhoood. There was a pupusa and a taco vendor across the street, which is amazing, but other than that, it's in a pretty sketchy area. The hotel staff is awesome. There was no microwave in the room, however staff was willing to reheat our food in their private microwave. The room was spacious enough for a quick one night stay. I would return, however I would make sure to pick up food on the way to my room.
