Desert Hot Springs Inn

What a great place. My only minor complaints were that the window locks didn’t work And we were on the ground floor. Luckily they supplied us with those small metal clips to put on the window. The beds were ok as were the linens, but the beautiful pool and hot tub more than made up for these minor things.

Excellent spacious rooms with kitchens. Pet and pot friendly. Pool is great. For a Boutique hotel, it had a lot to offer. Excellent Staff. I will be back.

Pretty nice for the area. The place was clean and the spa was comfortable.

We needed a place for the night to sleep on our cross country road trip. This was a very remote, tidy boutique style motel a short distance from Palm Springs. We had the smallest room on site which was still a good size, with a comfy king bed, lounge chairs, cool AC and large windows, and more private than the larger rooms facing the pool. The mountain view in the morning was gorgeous. There is a small heater in the bathroom which warms the toilet seat, as a bonus. Bonus points for room being clean, and very pet friendly property with a pet relief area, cute fire put area with string lights, and gated pool area. The surrounding area was residential which made walking the pup easy. Note that this is the desert, which is mostly brambly shrubs, not grassy, so tread with caution in unpaved areas. We also loved the heated pool and hot tub which were spotlessly clean. Docked a star because it took several minutes for the hot water to come out of the shower, but when it did, it was VERY hot. Also, I had a mild allergic reaction to the softener they use on their very fluffy towels. Otherwise, it was a restful and restorative stay with good sheets, good pillows, and two blocks from a lovely breakfast cafe (Azure Palms Cafe). Would stay again.

Close to Joshua Tree. Lovely pool and spa. Area around the hotel wasn't so great. No restaurants nearby.

Thank you Lisa. Great job hosting. She made sure we were comfortable through out our stay. She helped Sister book a late spa treatment. Although the spa treatment was great, the spa room was a little noisy from the AC unit. Also the fan in the dinning area next to spa room, was in need of replacement. Jacuzzi was not filtering first night, but repaired early the next day. We requested a late checkout (thank you John) to continue to enjoy Jacuzzi/pool a little longer! Doggie loved the dog spot in back patio. Look forward to going back.

Desert GEM! Loved that it was only a few units and everyone we met was very nice. Pool was great. Hot tub was great until it broke and lost heat but was still relaxing. Great distance to Joshua Tree, which is why we picked it. Lots of good food in the area. A few things could be improved to make it an EXCELLENT spot. - Shade for the pool. Not much but I think a little bit would go a long way! - Towels: the more, the better! I liked being able to get more pool towels, but also wanted additional ones in the room. - Put a mirror in the bedroom space. The bathroom is tiny and two people can't share the space. - Get better lamps. The switch was on the cord and there was no place to charge your phone on the nightstand. A lamp with the switch and an outlet on the base would be SUPER helpful. - Luggage racks needed. We had a 'water bug' visit and wanted to be able to elevate our stuff off the floor. We ended up using the ironing board and the side table. - Turn off some of the lights at night! We were hoping to see some stars but the outer lights were many and bright. Maybe have star-gazing hour(s)?

Easy to find. Easily identifiable. Lots of parking. Fast to load and unload and get bags into room. Easy instructions of how to get into facility and room. Great communication.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice. There wasn't any dish detergent to wash dishes so I used shampoo. Please use a better quality coffee it tasted like water.

I enjoyed my overnight stay at this Inn. The room was comfortable and clean, the grounds were very quiet and the surrounding Mountain View was simply breathtaking. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Usually when traveling the quality of bedding is disappointing but we were happy to sleep in high quality sheets and great pillows. I look forward to returning to this Inn when we can stay for 3-4 days as a relaxing vacation. To the owners we say, ‘Well Done!! ‘

It’s a great place, only issue was grey water from the sink. Room was very comfortable and easy to check in and check out.

The shower broke and they were not responsive. No doors on the bedrooms. Air conditioning didn’t work. Shower flooded.

The place is a very small inn and quit Inn. Not much to look from the exterior, but we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the place. The rooms are super clean, the bed and bedding was so comfortable. They are a 420 friendly place and have a beautiful sitting area ion the property with a beautiful view of the desert and stars. Patricia the manager was amazing and personable. I felt like family there. Because the place is so small, we often swam with no other guests. It was definitely a quiet and pleasant getaway, none of the ruckus of the bigger resorts. We will stay again.

No hot water at all. In the evening or morning. Couldn’t shower. Washed hands and face with cold water. WiFi didn’t work in our room. Netflix wouldn’t work. I let them know and they didn’t respond. Twice. If you don’t need WiFi and like cold showers and bad service, you’ll love this place! WAY too much money for nothing.

No light switch to turn on upon entry to room. Bedside lamps were on extension cord. There was NO desk or table for belongings or computer. There was no place in bathroom for toiletries. Bathroom was very small/crowded - no place to hang clothes. Shower curtain did not fit tub, allowed water out.

Staff upgraded us to kitchenette room when he noticed a few problems with our lower priced room

A charming hotel in the middle of the desert! I love that fact that it's small and intimate - eight rooms total. The staff is friendly and ready to help if you need it. The room had a great bed with fluffy pillows, a mini fridge and coffee maker. The pools and recreation area were both lovely. What a great find.

Very personal service and very helpful. Beautiful views and well maintained property. Pool was wonderful and love how accommodating they are for dogs.

Very nice hotel, and view of the mountains. Peaceful, nice courtyard and pool. Perfect if traveling with a pet.

Awesome place! Everyone was very friendly, very clean and convenient and best part was that it's super pet friendly. We brought our two fur babies ❤️ only downfall was that we came to escape the fireworks for 4th of july but unfortunately even though its illegal, there was still fireworks around here also the internet and tv were a bit slow but other than that everything was great! 10/10 for sure and we will definitely be coming back ♡

Not bad, but it’s in a pretty crummy area with zero services nearby. Very expensive for what you get.
