Waipouli Beach Resort A301

All that is necessary for a wonderful Kauai vacation in the kitchen and for the beach are included (and air conditioning) - which in this waterfront property is just steps away. BBQ available and lots is of parking makes this ground floor unit so great. Wonderful pool and hot tubs for socializing really nice in this resort.

The accommodations are beautiful and clean. This isn’t really a resort though. What they call the lazy river is just a walking path. No tubes available or allowed. The pool is freezing. If it was a warmed up a bit could be very enjoyable. The slides are fun but our grandson would have chattering teeth in 10 mins . The restaurant bar is only open a couple hours a day so never tried it. Other than slides a residence for elderly in our opinion

We stayed for about a week in B310 and really enjoyed our visit. The unit is large and beautifully furnished, decorated and maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with all everything you would need for a Thanksgiving dinner, lol. Every aspect is very upscale. The grounds are lovely and our two 9-year-olds and 11-year-old had lots of fun in the pool and on the waterslides. I used the bbq for dinner one night and recommend you finish before it gets dark. We will return in the future for sure.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is absolutely perfect and conveniently located to everything. Oasis was very good (on site restaurant). And the hot tubs with sand bottoms were awesome. Note- the ocean is very wavy! We would happily return and stay longer next time!

Amazing stay at the Waipouli! As a family of 6 I was definitely worried about having enough space. Not a problem here! Multiple bathrooms and the kitchen was big, and had everything we needed. Walking distance to groceries and shops was such a plus. I chose Kapaa since it would be so central and the location made it easy to get to all the different parts of the island. We loved being on the beach but also having the hot tubs, pool, and slides. Overall so glad we picked this condo!

This was a great place for our family. Centrally located on the island, close to swim beach parks, restaurants within walking distance. Stores and groceries close by. Pool and hot tubs were great, clean and warm. Everything as advertised.

Here are our pros and cons for this property. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Pros: Absolutely beautiful condo. Great layout for a family with kids with two bedrooms and a hide-a-bed in the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped with all of the appliances and tools you would need, and the appliances were top of the line. Great location on the second floor to get to and from the pool. Boogie boards, some life jackets, sand toys, beach chairs and snorkel gear in the closet. The location was stellar with it not being too far from the airport and there was a Safeway and Ross across the street. We never had any issues getting lounge chairs at the pool, and there are pool towels available. The pool is spacious and has water slides, a lazy river (it didn’t really move lol) and they brought in sand in a shallow area that was a huge hit for our kids. The gym was really nice and had tons of equipment as well. Cons: These things would have made this resort an absolute 10 (and these are beyond the unit owners control). At the pool they don’t allow floaties or the use of any balls (footballs etc). This was disappointing for us because we brought half a suitcase of this stuff to entertain our three boys and other kids at the pool. The elderly security guard at the pool was constantly on us about kids running, jumping into the pool from the rocks (which are around the perimeter of the pool) and enforcing the floaties and balls (even though we put them aside once he told us the first time, but he didn’t want them in his sight lol). I also witnessed him completely ripping into three kids and threatening to remove their entire family from the pool. It was just a bit much. Lets just say he takes his job quite seriously lol There is a restaurant on the property, but it is only open at 3pm, and it would have been so awesome to have pool side service. They don’t allow coolers, but yet there is no pool service? We have Verizon and outside of the room we didn’t have service. One bar at best. These inconveniences though are negated by all of the pros I listed above. And again, none of these items are specific to the unit, which is a total 10!

The property is beautiful. The unit was great. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. My only complaint was that only one of the hot tubs seemed to be hot. The other two were luke warm at best. Also there were kids in the adult hot tubs. Other than that it was perfect.

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nicely decorated and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the pool and beach were very fun. Very attentive owners. I highly recommend.

We loved the location as it was halfway between the north shore and south shore making day trips to the Canyon or Princeville ideal. We were there when the big storm hit, so only downfall was when bridge went out from the crane, making travel the airport or south very slow going, but at no fault of the owner. Only things we were disappointed in is that there was no cupboard space for food. All the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen were full of dishes, pots and pans, so there wasn’t a place to put food in other than fridge, so a lot of food had to stay out on the counters. We did encounter several roaches in the kitchen cupboards, which we were ready for because it is Hawai’i, so be prepared to rinse your glasses, plates, bowls, silverware etc before using them. The A/C never worked right. It never got lower than 76 in the condo with it turned on, so it was a bit muggy until night. If you’re not used to heat and humidity, it can be overwhelming. We give it an 8.5/10 overall. Would stay at Waipouli Resort again.

We had a wonderful time and cannot say enough about our unit! The amenities were abundant with everything you could need in the kitchen! Communication was quick and easy. The places was beautiful and immaculate! Thank you!!!

Close enough to the airport, Kapa'a Market, about an hour drive to Princeville (such a beautiful drive). One lane streets mostly so being close enough to the airport was good (12 min drive) and prevented the stress of getting stuck in traffic. We loved the lazy river and our son loved the kids jacuzzi. Overall we loved our stay here and would consider staying here again.

This condo was the perfect home base for our family vacation to Kaua'i! Everything was exactly as it appeared on the listing- absolutely gorgeous! The room was clean, cozy, and loaded with everything we could need for our stay! The resort was unbelievable - the pool was exactly as pictured and the grounds were impeccably cared for! If we find ourselves in Kaua'i again, we will stay here in a heartbeat!

Condo was very clean and well appointed. Resort had ample amenities. Great location on the beach and close to services. Only gripe is the onsite bar and restaurant was not open until 4:00 pm. No food and drink service by the great pool.

We loved our stay. Easy check in, booking and perfectly situated central to Kauai! The property is great for a family and was incredibly spacious! Has everything you need and more!

Best location in Kauai as it is central to everywhere. The complex and facilities are wonderful. The apartment was quite clean and had ample space for 4 adults. The 3rd bathroom/toilet was a bonus as were the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Views are fantastic, overlooking pool, waterfall and the ocean. Highly recommended!

The unit and resort exceeded our expectations (and our expectations were high given the ratings, reviews, pictures, etc). The room was clean, it comfortably fit our family of 6 (plenty of bed space with 3 comfortable king beds and a pull out, and 3 bathrooms), the pool and hot tub area were beautiful, and the maintenance of the grounds made for a stunning atmosphere on the beach. We also loved the location, next to a grocery store and near many dining and shopping options, close to the airport, and halfway between the north and south shores. We could not have asked for better, and we look forward to returning!!

We had a great experience with this property. With our two kids under 13 and their grandparents that are over 75, it was comfortable for everyone and we had lots of fun. The location was excellent for adventures on the island and very centrally located for easy commuting north or south. Plus the access to grocery stores and shopping and restaurants it was perfect for our family. The pool was incredible and the beach was convenient. We even got munk seals right outside on the beach property. Our only complaint was the road noise from the Safeway parking lot and the stop light just below us. We slept with the slider doors open and screens closed for the first few nights and the busy road was definitely a factor with noise. But that does come with the convenience of stores and restaurants near by so I can’t complain about it much. I would definitely stay here again.

It was quiet and its location to the pool was great for kids! Lots of space and had a ton of beach stuff to use.

Milo and Theresa were wonderful hosts. Their home is absolutely beautiful. They provided everything we needed. Also, the property has an amazing pool, water slides, hot tubs, and easy beach access. The location is great since you can get anywhere from Lihue (15 min), Poipu (30 min), Hanalei (40 min) and Waimea Canyon (60 min) in an hour. The town of Kapaa had a lot to offer too. Milo and Theresa were very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying at their home. Aloha and Mahalo!

Unit was clean and very nice and the property is in a great location. Kithchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal. Gas grills are available by the pool. Grocery store and other basic shops directly accross the street. Adjacent beach is beautiful, but the surf makes it a bit of an unrelaxed swim. Onsite restaurant is pricy and the food was unremarkable. All that was needed for check-in was the door code and that was sent in an email. (Tiny print at the botton, si oit on your glasses) That email directs you to download their mobile app for check-in which we were never able to get to load on Android. Perhaps it is Apple only. The 3 stars for check-in was because of the trouble with the app. It wasn't really needed, though, and our check in was seemless. We'd definitely stay again.

The room was just like the pictures. Especially liked the ice chest, beach chairs and the great wagon that was in the unit. We used them everyday. The property was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Right across the street there was a grocery store, Food places and ABC store. The host Candace Mack always got back to us when we needed her. We are definitely going to book this unit again!

We loved staying here! This was our first time staying in this unit, but our second time staying at this resort. We will now always try to stay here, because it seems to be one of the few units at this resort with handheld shower heads which are game changers, especially when showering kids. The condo was clean and has everything you need. Milo & Theresa are excellent hosts that were always extremely fast to respond. My kids love the pool with the two slides and my youngest loves the kiddie area as he still is learning to be comfortable in the water. We love that we can just walk to the grocery store and the best shave ice across the street. We also love staying in Kapaa for the central location because we love to visit Hanalei (30-40 min north) and also love going down south to Poipu and Hanapepe (30-40 min south). Thank you Milo & Theresa for the amazing stay, we hope to be back soon!!

we stayed at the condo wirh our college age kids - the layout was perfect and allowed for both family time and.quiet time. the pool and beach access were so convenient as was the location on the island. 25 min to Poipu, 30 min to Hanalei Bay. kitchen was perfect — and we loved playing card games after dark with the sound of the beach in the background. we leveraged the concierge services provided by Susie Purdy to help us book whale watching, kayaking, mountain tubing and more! already thibking about our next trip back!

The door handle going to the 1/2 bath feel off. When I tried changing the speed of the fan in the bedroom it tripped the breaker. I called the emergency number and I had great help in finding the circuit breaker panel and resetting the breaker. The fan has a short and should be inspected at minimum or replaced!

This property and condo was the perfect location. The pool and grounds were gorgeous. We were able to get to both sides of the island easily and the food in this area was delicious. The grocery store is across the street which was so convenient. Highly recommend this condo.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying at this condo. Extremely clean with nice furnishings. We really liked the convenience of being in proximity to both the north and south side of the island. Very convenient! The pool area is really nice and it’s on a lovely beach. I should note that swimming at this beach isn’t ideal here due to rocks just offshore, but a nice sandy shore to walk in and get your feet wet. Many other beaches are extremely close and our family enjoyed borrowing the condo’s beach gear and trying out many beaches near by. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

The property was well maintained, we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi! Great morning walks both north and south of the property. Great location- able to walk to grocery store, Lava Lava restaurant for breakfast, coconut plantation for coffee.

This unit and the location are excellent! The unit is well appointed with dishes and any cookware you might need. At the same time who needs to cook when you've got some of the islands best restaurants steps from your door (Oasis on the Beach, JO2's, Zumo Sushi)!! If you do decide to cook in unit there is a well stocked Safeway just across the street where you can get anything you need. In addition to the wonderful food options nearby, staying on the east side of the island is great for being able to get to all the main destinations without feeling like you spent an entire day driving. Hanalei and Poipu are only 30ish minutes away and Waimea is under an hour. If beaches are what you're looking for, then Kapa'a has you covered! No they aren't the super popular south shore beaches and you won't be catching the big waves of the north shore, but if you're looking for some great sun & sand with a few waves in protected coves, the east shore has you covered.Finally if you're the adventure type and want to do some hiking, Sleeping Giant trailhead is under 2 miles from this location and offers spectacular views of the Island and east shore, we did a sun rise hike one morning and were able to see the sun rising over O'ahu! It was magical!If you can't tell, I highly recommend this property and the general location, it was one of the best vacations we've been on!

We had a great time. Place was as listed, clean, and centrally located. Great to have the pool and beach right out the front door. Was able to walk for food and shaved ice. The only thing that could have made my trip even better was a little spice and coffee supplies to get you started.

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

Condo was very clean and well appointed. Resort had ample amenities. Great location on the beach and close to services. Only gripe is the onsite bar and restaurant was not open until 4:00 pm. No food and drink service by the great pool.
