I thought the overall experience was just ok. There were always a lot of men hanging out outside of the front of the hotel smoking. The inside of the hotel smelled like weed most of the time. The front desk staffed seemed nice and attentive. The room itself was fine. I will say there was hair and a dead bug smashed on the wall of the bathroom. But other than that the towels were soft and the rest of the room felt generally clean. For the price, I think it was worth it.

The beds were not comfy at all. Under the beds hadn't been cleaned in quite some time as there were clothing items, and tissues, and an inch of dust. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. Half of the outlets in the room itself didn't work. Each time we left, we had to walk past piles of garbage in the hall that people had set out. Room service only comes once a week, so it becomes unsightly and smelly fast! The rooms are not quiet at all! The guy on the floor above me woke up every morning at 3:30am and stomped around, slamming cabinets, cooking and setting the smoke alarm off. I could call his every move by the third night! There was an incident where the parking lot was full of cops and an ambulances for hours. I had my kids with me, and was concerned. The front desk refused to give me any information at all. I didnt need details. Just enough info to know it was an isolated event would've been nice! Obviously, I didn't expect a stay at the Sheraton, but I feel like I ended up somewhere between the Bates Motel and Motel 6. 10/10 would not recommend if you have kids with you.

This hotel was extremely quiet in the evening. There are signs posted enforcing quiet hours with zero tolerance for any noise past 10 (11?) to 7am. It was exactly what I hope for - a good night’s sleep. The room was very clean. The entire property is clean. It was a pleasure to be there. There are people who stay on longer than a few days for what clearly looked work related. It’s a nice mix. One thing I didn’t expect was the lack of silverware, even plastic utensils. I do think that should be noted for those who are one or two night stays. The kitchen area has a dishwasher and microwave as well as a small two element flattop stove. There are spacious cabinets for food and supplies, and a full size refrigerator as well. I was very comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep on the no frills but very comfortable mattress. Initially, I almost changed my mind because of how inexpensive it is. I am glad I gave it a try. I will most definitely be back!

The room we were given smelled so bad of smoke and this is supposed to be a smoke-free hotel. We requested another room. The beds are metal frames and not 'real' beds. The room had crumbs on the floor, the AC barely blew cool air and smelled musty, the trash cans in the stairwells were overflowing/smelled for our entire stay and the parking lot was full of trash. The night we checked in, an ambulance and police cars arrived for a wellness check. The dispatcher message states that a guest was not seen in a week and there were maggots in the hallway for a few days. One of the managers opened the door to the room and immediately closed it due to a foul odor. The second day, the fire alarms went off and we had to evacuate the building. The 3rd day, the elevators didn't work. When we checked out on day 4, no external company had arrived to clean the room where the body was found. In my opinion, that entire room needs to be gutted and redone since there were maggots everywhere. This hotel is an extended stay hotel and there appears to be a lot of guests that live there. They hang in the lobby, right outside the front door and all around the parking lot. We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and it was ok which is why we chose to stay here again. It really declined in 3 years.

Hotel was clean which is the most important for me. Staff was nice and friendly. The only complaint would be, and I stayed here on 3 different occasions, there always is a group of people hanging by the front entrance and smoking cigarettes and other things. Not a fan of the smoke and smell. Wish the staff would tell them not to hang in the front

There were roaches in the room we were in but we arrived late in the evening and had a very important event to attend the next day so we put most of our belongings back in the car and went to sleep. We were gone for most of the next day and When we returned to the room we just went to bed and left very early the next morning. What was supposed to be a nice and easy stay at a hotel with a kitchenette for our convenience turned into an anxious, uneasy, and unpleasant few days

We just needed a clean safe place to spend the night and this place was perfect. Friendly front desk person. Hotel in good shape and rooms were clean and tidy. We had 2 rooms and the one just needed to have trash cans. Otherwise everything was great and so was the price

Staff was friendly. The beds were comfy, air conditioner worked great. Set up in room was great with a kitchen area. (Bring your own coffee pot , cups and plates.. those are not in the room) but there was always coffee down in the lobby! Room was pretty clean.. i did notice our floor could have been vacuumed better.. but over all.. would definitely stay there again. Great rates!!

Didn’t sleep well at all. Residents are remote workers, made lots of noise at all hours. Highway was SUPER ANNOYING having to listen to traffic all night. Oh yeah, then there was the guy in the elevator with a bottle of booze at his feet, along with his pants and underwear, no joke! Safe to say I’ll find someplace else to stay next time.

Staff was great and the room was better than expected for extended stay. I will say that the room smelled like cooked food the whole time I was there and a couple light bulbs were missing. But other than that, it was a great stay. The area around the hotel isn’t the greatest. If you’re solely staying just to visit Pittsburgh and save some money, this is your place. Otherwise I’d probably just spend the extra money and stay in Pittsburgh for the convenience and better atmosphere.

When I saw that this property was rated as excellent I had high hopes that it would be a nice place to stop. It turns out to be an "extended stay" type of lodging and that many of the patrons were road crews working on the nearby highways. The room above me sounded like a herd of elephants tromping around and it seemed to last all night. Not a very restful place to stay on a long drive.

Our room smelled like a wet dog or two. Upon asking for a room change, w informed by a front desk staff that this was the only room left and that they were aware of the issue but hadn't have a chance to rectify it. Time to try something right
