Parking was right in front of the room. Overall clean but the furniture and carpet is old and should be replaced soon. Love that Dunkin’ Donuts is right next door. The beds were really comfortable had everything we needed for overnight. Price was great

Family owned and operated. Plenty if great lighting and brand new state of the art security cameras. 2 huge truckstops close by, Subway, Dunkin' etc Hotel currently undergoing remodel/refresh. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Rates are great. I"ve stayed here several times and will continue to stay inbthe future. Also goid wifi and satellite tv with lot's of channels :-)

This was so dirty we decided to leave minutes after going into our room! I highly recommend you never go here! Of course they still charged me even though I left! Pool empty cement pond, room walls dirty, blood stained mattress cover, garbage and construction materials everywhere outside. Awful!!

Building needs a pressure cleaning and new paint. Pool.., forget about it, completely out of commission. I got the sense, it was recently bought and maybe new owners are in the mist of refreshing the facility. I observed, new boxed mini fridges lined up in the reception area. Hope they succeed, the motel has potential.

The room smell like mildew and mold, the carpet was gross!!! The bathroom light was falling out of the ceiling, the back of the complex where our room was looked like it was used in a horror movie! No water in the pool, not that we would have used it!! Sketchy people all around obviously living in the rooms, very dirty and smelly!!!

Palms Garden was not as advertised! The room was dingy, linens yellowed, grasshopper on one bed, dirty sock in the bathroom. Room had to be accessed through a dark exterior hall, from the parking lot. Pool was drained, not in use. The check in was good, manager helpful and accommodating. We got a refund, did not stay.

Not a bad place for the price. Mostly clean, beds floors and counters were nice. Shower could have a little cleaning. Pool was not working and no Coke machine or vending. No breakfast bar. But just to get a nice sleep this is the place. Very quiet.

Our 2nd room was clean however the toilet seal was broken making for a wobbly potty experience. The 1st room was dirty and very poorly planned out. It had lamps on each side of the bed but no plug close enough to plug in. The lamp shade was filthy. The TV didn't not work. We requested to be moved.

No staff available on site, have to call a number to have someone come check in/out (check out was to leave room key in window up front or locked in the room). Cleanliness was subpar, everything looked old/worn down, carpet stained (didn’t feel comfortable walking in room without shoes on), bedding appeared clean but didn’t have the usual bleach/laundry detergent smell (didn’t really have a smell at all), hole in wall behind door, paint on walls scuffed, etc. When we left the room we took all our belongings with us rather than leaving in the room.

Photos must be from 10years ago or something because our room was an absolute abomination. Molded bathroom walls, shower head covered in stone, there was a hole in the wall under the shower head where water was coming out! Toilet seat broken, cabinet door fell off, definitely wasn’t cleaned because I stepped into something sticky on the carpet, and I found a bottle cap on the floor right next to the chair… do not come to this filthy and stanky crack house. I can’t even call this an inn or motel. At least the front desk person was nice. Which you have to call every time because the office is always closed and nobody is there. Avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t stay here even if you’d pay me to.

The office was locked and myself and another lady were waiting outside in the heat. I finally called a number posted and the guy came immediately. After a brief check in, I got my room key....only to realize someone else was already in the room! So thankful that they weren't in in the room at the time! (How does this happen? Someone pays cash and the desk clerk leaves it off the books?) The black out curtains didn't block the light at all. The giant security lights guarding the parking lot came on through. I did not get a good nights sleep. It was a combination of the mattress and the light. Room #123. I took a picture of the mirror. But I cannot figure out how to post it on this review. Housekeeping used a dirty cloth to clean it and it was easy to see.

I reserved this hotel at a much lower rate than its competitors, so I came in with reasonable expectations. The check in was easy and the host was friendly. The room was pretty clean, although dated (but that was very much expected). What we liked the most was that we had a large room with huge bed and a VERY comfortable bed. We rested very well. We liked that we had a room that was on the ground level and the closest to the office. A couple of dislikes: There should have been more towels. We only had 2 large towels- one apiece. It would have been nice to have 4 towels. Also, in order to checkout, we had to call a phone number- there was no one there to do the checkout in person. The dining options in the area were very limited.

The check in was quick after I had to call the number in the window for assistance. Inside room #107 was not well kept. Broken items: hair dryer, wall door stop. TV cable consisted of 6 channels, toilet seat very loose. Front door lock as if it was pryed open before, bathroom door has to be forced to close. Wall paper peeling from wall. No plug where the microwave was located. No one was ever in the main office, you would gave to call and wait for someone to arrive.

This property provides a quiet, comfortable, LARGE room with kitchenette, full sized fridge with freezer, full sized microwave, and table for two, but bring your own dishes and utensils! Perfect for an overnight stay. Clean!!!! Comfortable king bed with little transfer of motion. A short drive to Lake City, but out of the city. Great AC. Shower could use a little updating and better water pressure, but overall a good place to break from a drive and rejuvenate for the road—at a good price as well.

We picked this hotel cause it was 15 mins from Ginnie Springs. We arrived on Friday at 12:04am, the front desk office was locked and no one was there to help. The website said the front office closed at midnight. We had to pay for another hotel to stay the night. We went back Saturday and 7pm and again the front desk was locked and no one was there. We never checked in, we never got our reservation.

Pros: Close to I-75. Darken donuts next door! 20 minutes from Springs. Cons: First impressions was I arrived at a Sunday afternoon, B rated horror flick. The front office was locked with no staff...had to call number posted on the door. When I finally was given a room, I went to unlock the door but noticed though the window somebody was already laying in bed 😅. I was given another room but the key card didn't work. The night was a non eventful and the room was clean. Upon check out, I have to leave the card keys in the room because the front office was locked with no staff, no answer to phone calls. 🙄 cheap stay but kind of creepy.

Upon arrival lobby was closed and attendant was gone. Note on door said "will be back soon call this number" well number was just an answering machine. Waited 20 min for lobby attendant to show up. That was last thing I needed after a 10 hour drive. Room was old and outdated. Bathroom was the size of a closet. I would not stay again

Housekeeping used a dirty cloth to clean it and it was easy to see.

Check in was easy, the gentleman at the front was very nice and greeted us with a smile. The room was nice. It’s located in a great place for an overnight or weekend if you just want to be away from everything. There was a couple of restaurants and a Dunkin’ Donuts and Wendy’s all within 30 seconds of driving or 1 minute walking. We were actually going to stay another night, but the weather turned nasty and there wasn’t going to be anything for us to do so we headed home instead. We would’ve totally stayed if the weather would’ve cooperated.

What we liked the most was that we had a large room with huge bed and a VERY comfortable bed. We rested very well. We liked that we had a room that was on the ground level and the closest to the office. A couple of dislikes: There should have been more towels. We only had 2 large towels- one apiece. It would have been nice to have 4 towels. Also, in order to checkout, we had to call a phone number- there was no one there to do the checkout in person. The dining options in the area were very limited.

During my 3-night stay, the room was never cleaned I mentioned this to the desk clerk on Saturday evening after my first night. Nothing was done. The trash bins were overflowing. The location is bad and there are no good dining choices. Palms Garden was not as advertised! The room was dingy, linens yellowed, grasshopper on one bed, dirty sock in the bathroom. Room had to be accessed through a dark exterior hall, from the parking lot. Pool was drained, not in use. The check in was good, manager helpful and accommodating. We got a refund, did not stay.

Not a bad place for the price. Mostly clean, beds floors and counters were nice. Shower could have a little cleaning. Pool was not working and no Coke machine or vending. No breakfast bar. But just to get a nice sleep this is the place. Very quiet.
