the property was hard to find even with GPS. check in was easy and quick. The bathroom door did not close in room 200. The elevators made weird noises not common for elevators and would shake really bad before it landed on the floor you needed. Made us nervous each time we go on it. The breakfast was ok. it wasn't bad but its hotel breakfast. The water in the shower was coming out fast and hard. i tried to see if it was just a setting on the shower head however there were any options to change how the water comes out. It was uncomfortable to shower. overall it was okay for a last minute one night stay.

The property needs some maintenance and is showing wear. One of the two elevators was out, so the wait to get to the higher floors took a bit. Breakfast was average for a mid-range hotel, but there was no decaf coffee, nor was the water hot enough to make the instant grits. Parking was good with good lighting. It does take a bit of a wander to get to the hotel as it is off the main road and on a side street.

The rooms hadn't been cleaned effectively or stocked. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom was almost out of toiler paper. The gym was out of order, one elevator was not working, and upon arrival no bellman carts were to be found.

This hotel was advertised as the best option in Clinton. The rooms smelled musty and moldy. I asked to be moved from the 1st room and 2nd room was not much better. Of the 2 elevators one was out of order my entire stay of 6 days. The pool was also closed my entire stay. The water was green and cloudy. This is July in the Deep South with heat index over 100 and their pool was closed!! The guest laundry room was dirty. Washers needed to be cleaned. They had supply issues: the last day of stay coffee cup lids finally showed up. There was no butter the first day for waffles and toast. Only 2 days did fresh fruit show up at breakfast. The sink in my bathroom wouldn’t hold water and the shower doors did not close all the way and leaked water all over the floor. The mini fridge did not have a freezer compartment. I will say the staff was very nice and friendly.

Hotel smelled of mildew. The wallpaper in our room was peeling off due to mold and smelled like mildew as well. Overall, hotel was dirty and in a state of disrepair. Would not stay here again.

The room smelled-had to bring in air freshener. The tub was very slippery with no convenient handrails. Was given already occupied room & had to be given different room. There was dried blood on one of the pillows. Was charged more than reservation stated & haven't received refund of "security fee" yet. Good breakfast.

Our room was incredibly humid and smelled musty. Turning the air conditioner to a cooler temperature did not at all. All of our clothes came home damp and the bed was damp. The lamps were rusted. You can tell they just aren’t keeping up with the hotel at all. It truly was an awful stay and we will never be coming back.

All we needed here was one night of sleep in a clean bed and we definitely got that. Every employee I encountered was professional and very nice. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in w similar price and amenities this was the cleanest room and nicest employees I've ever experienced!

Our overnight stay, even though brief, was great. The hotel and room looked and even smelled exceptionally clean. Check in was super easy and our room was even complimentary upgraded. The AC was on and the room was already well cooled and comfortable upon late arrival which was wonderful! Great overnight stay overall.

The room was very musty smelling and there was hair on the sheets. There was regular coffee available at the breakfast bar, only decaf at 8:30am. The thermostat in the room said 68 but it felt like 74. There was an once gap in the sliding window that we could not close.

A bright light from the parking lot beams directly into my room. I didn't know until well after sundown. The curtains are thin and doesn't block out the light. And the light beams directly into the bed like a very bright night light that you can't turn off. The room was nice. Horrible lighting setup.

Room 400 did not have bulbs in the light above the sink, bathroom door did not lock, the main door in our room would not shut good. Every time we stay here the service is great and it is clean but something in our room normally is broken or doesn’t work.

It was okay. Our first room (I believe was 111) was fine until we turn the A/C temperature down and the compressor came on. It was loud. The person at the desk gave us another room (102) with a normal sounding A/C, but the TV was dark. I figured out how to brighten it but it didn't stay bright. It would repeatedly go back to being dark. It was a real irritation. I decided not to say anything about it though. After all, we were only there for one night anyway.

We had only two real problems: the bathroom door didn't shut--was hung crooked, and the bureau drawers would not stay shut. This was a bit of a hazard since my husband is on a walker.

When checking in their system was down, so did not get a room key after getting in the room, the heater air-conditioning system came out of the wall had to be moved to a second. Still have not received a room key upon checking out the hotel

One of the worse staff I have ever experienced with. The worst attitude and customer service i have ever seen. Front desk guy, hates his job and apparently every human. 9:30 am i had cleaning crew knock on my door 3 times… when check out is clearly at 11 am … worst experience when it came to customer service

Not resupplied with clean towels, bed not made, trash not removed, maintenance issues not addressed. Clerk at the front desk told me this is not a full Marriott so we must request towels. Clerk the next day said this is not true and we should have received towels. Get your stories straight. Staff training is needed.

I would stay and recommend this hotel. I have a phobia about hotels scared that they may have bugs, carpet dirty just not what they advertise to be but this hotel was very clean the house keeping young lady name Stacey was on point with her rooms they even smelled fresh and clean when I walked in my assigned room. I had to send a shout to her because she tak a pride in her work she even asked me if everything was ok WAY TO GO STACEY keep up the good.work. This hotel will get me business every time I visit Mississippi

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. It smelled clean and fresh, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Nice touch with the fresh fruit bowl and the variety of toppings for oatmeal or yogurt. Annie, the attendant at the buffet, was so sweet. She was keeping the buffet full and clean. Full size cups for the coffee, not the tiny ones!

Staff was friendly at check in, room was clean but fridge was not so clean, also it’s not a smart tv which I’m not used to. Breakfast was basic but one toaster was broken and the one that worked only half of it worked and the levers were broken. Time to replace the toasters.

Fairfield Marriott property looks good and clean overall and customer service was excellent my room was upgraded to a Suite King for Free and they also offer a very good continental breakfast with a good coffee brand and good waffles and other hot and cold breakfast items too served in the morning. Very Convenient location while traveling on the Hwy. and I will come back to this hotel in the future if traveling in the area.

Really nice hotel. The staff takes pride in keeping the property very clean! Rooms were great! Showers good and the free breakfast was better than most typical free hotel breakfasts. Highly recommended!
